BDavid Smith MDIn both cases we were directed through another eye exam which was not necessary. My appointment. had nothing to do with vision, Dr. Smith had removed a skin tag from near my eye previously. He suggested the irritation was from cat dander and referred me to another eye surgeon for the eye lid issue. The problem was Hashimoto (thyroid issue) disease and I feel he blew me off without so much as really looking at the skin or asking questions. May know his stuff but zero personality. They charged my husband for two visits. He was given an exam only a few days from his first with is ophthalmologist - same general exam, here it was given by his assistants on a machine. They took advantage of his insurance and booked a second date to see Dr. Smith which meant another appt. The staff seems to have no idea why patients are there when referred. We had to pay two co=pays for the benefit of only one visit. While in the office waiting for Dr. Smith, an elderly patient came out of Dr. Smith's office and had much difficulty with balance due to his vision from drops, he struggled to get to the pay window and even commented to staff he was dizzy. They ignored the man! I walked this kind man out to his car and explained to his wife why I was with him. Dr. Smith was totally ignorant of this patient's condition walking ahead of him. If This is the second time I have seen this staff be so indifferent toward patients. Done going there. I'll drive to Spencerport or Greece.- Cathy R.

ABrockport Optometry, PCI just went there for the first time and everything went pretty well. I would recommend them. They were good. The physician was not outstanding but I would say he was average and he was nice. I'm not sure about the glasses because I have to get the glasses, so it's probably just me and I'm not used to them. I saw the glasses and they were a little expensive and they don't fit me great. I've been thinking I need to try them a little longer and then see for sure if I need to go back and get them refitted or something.- Christine Y.
