We have been using them for 7 years.  I like that they have a lot of channels and they are reasonably priced.

Except for the billing, we did have some problems and they were here right away. I was given the supervisors number and when i did call him, they were here right away.

I only really have contact with them if there is a problem. I definitely don't like their price. I think they are a better provider than others in the area. Whenever I call, their customer service is good.

    Verizon Fios Albany
We love Verizon Fios Albany. It's good. We've never had a major problem with it. The internet is fast. We didn't even get the fastest speed, and we think it's fast. Their television service is perfect. They have lots and lots of channels to choose from. They have channel packages to order. We moved and they didn't provide cable service here. But we waited for them to get cable and they did and we got it as soon as they did.

We haven't needed them to come out here to look at anything since we had it installed, so it's been a while since they came out on a service visit. They're reliable, and I've never had any problems with the service. I'm happy with them. I've talked to them on the phone, and they're fine. I don't think we're indentured to them anymore, but we will continue to use them.

I use them for my business as well as residence. The service is very reliable. They have great service and their price is really good. Other companies say that they can beat Time Warner, but they can't. They just do an introductory for three months and then they go a lot higher than Time Warner.

I like it very much. It's very good. I absolutely love the call waiting when it comes up on our television as well as on our phone; that's so helpful. It's pretty expensive. That's the bad news, but the amount that the phone adds to our total bill is not significant. Our cable is the big thing there. It came out cheaper than another service provider we used before for landline. Their customer service is amazing. If we ever have an issue, they have a repairman out here usually within hours, and there's no additional charge. They are amazing. We live out in the country; we have a little gentleman's farm out here. We had somebody coming to pick up our sheep to get them shorn. It's just two sheep. They are all rescue animals. We don’t work with them; we couldn’t catch the sheep. So the Time Warner guy went out in the field and he was helping my husband chase the sheep. They really do go above and beyond. We would absolutely use them again in the future.

I am happy with them. I switched my phone from another provider to Time Warner this past spring. There was a bit of a glitch about a week later, but they came out and fixed it. It seems to me that they play games with the prices.

We don't have any issues with them. They've always been very responsive and helpful. They have very well trained people in customer service. We had some problems with the new service that had been set up for us and they worked very hard to get it resolved. The people that we dealt over the phone and the people that came to the house were very good. They were very quick to respond and very quick to get here. They have been very fair about taking care of us pricewise as well.

It went extremely well from the very beginning. First, I researched Time Warner's landline service extensively on their website, looking at all their info and FAQ pages for details on installation requirements, compatibility, pricing, guarantees, features, etc. The site was easy to use once I got to the right section. When I decided to make the change, I called the toll free number and was connected to a local sales person. I told her I was considering adding phone service to my existing digital cable and internet (Road Runner) service. I barraged her with questions to erase any doubts I had about monthly fees, hidden fees, taxes, installation fees, phone-set compatibility, their 30-day guarantee, international calling plans, and anything else I could think of. The agent was very patient and stayed with me all the way. When I decided to go ahead with the order, she scheduled a date for me about 12 days away, and asked me to choose morning or afternoon. When I chose afternoon, she said, OK, it will be between 12 and 4:30. She told me they would take care of the change with my old service provider and that I would keep the same phone number. A few days before the installation, I received a reminder postcard in the mail letting me know again the date and the window of time. On the date of scheduled installation, the installer arrived at about 2 or 2:30, and he quietly and courteously went through all the installation procedures including checking at the end to make sure it worked. He then explained some of the calling features, including how the caller ID will work on my TV, and then went out to his truck to bring me a pamphlet describing all the features and services and how to use them. And then he left, no money needed, nothing to sign. And the phone worked. That was earlier today. The phone still works. If all goes according to plan, I will save about $28 a month, including taxes, by switching to this service from my longtime, traditional phone provider.
