    • For my kitchen remodel, I ordered three Electrolux appliances from this vendor. I chose them strictly on price and I'm kicking myself for letting that be the deciding factor. From the reviews, I knew I was taking a risk; but this provider was $800 dollars cheaper than its nearest competitor. What went wrong:

The original stove was delivered so damaged it looked like it had be dropped from a huge height. When I called to report the damage, the first thing customer service asked was if I would be willing to accept the damaged merchandise for a $500 discount. The stove was dropped on its "head" so perhaps customer service thought I had also been dropped on my head. I explained the damage was more than just a ding and that the entire back end was bashed in and I wanted an undamaged appliance. Customer Service had the gall to tell me that I was responsible for getting the 500 pound stove back in the box for pick-up. Seriously? Several calls and a manager later, I was told that I only had to make sure the box was there.
The logistics company sent to swap out the damaged merchandise with a new one adamantly refused to do so because they said that the stove wouldn't fit out the door. We had to bring up our assistant super to measure the door and coach the delivery team on how to move the damaged stove out and the new stove in. My husband had to burn another vacation day to wait for delivery.
The end result of trusting that this company would deliver undamaged merchandise is that it put my remodel on hold for two weeks. I definitely spent any money I saved on take-out and restaurant meals for my family, Three meals a day for a family of three adds up pretty quickly. Not to mention the aggravation factor; which has been considerable. I would never recommend this company for any reason.

This company is amazing! They repaired and restored our antique furniture. They gave us choices of finishes. The furniture is now exquisite. All the pieces are so beautiful that we had happy tears in our eyes. We never dreamed that furniture can be so beautiful. They kept us informed of every step. They are the only company I would ever use. If you need your furniture restored look no further!

Purchased a window air conditioner from Northern Home Appliances. The salesman (Nat) who assisted me was professional, helpful, and nice. He showed me various brands and models they had in stock and explained the features and differences. I didn't feel rushed. I expressed interest in a model the store didn't have in stock at the time. Nat arranged to get it for me. He also arranged for an installer to come to my home, remove my old unit, and install the new air conditioner. The installer was punctual, polite, professional and worked neatly. I would use Northern Home Appliances because you get personalized service and they see the job through.

Excellent. I called on 5/02/14 for a free estimate. A man came over within a couple of hours, looked at the problem (The leg had completely broken off), decided how to address the problem, and took the leg with him. He had to make a new block of wood to do the repair. He came back the next day within the window of  time he said he would. He took about an hour to replace the broken part and re-insert the leg. He did an excellent job, was a very pleasant man, and knew what he was doing. They also answer the phone promptly with a human being. Everything about the transaction was excellent.

Bill Rogers was very communicative throughout the entire process from pricing to scheduling and moving the day of. I unfortunately underestimated the amount of space I had to turn the piano from my apartment to the stairs. Bill and Scott still managed to move my piano with the utmost of care down one flight of stairs. At the destination, they easily moved it into the house without having to remove the storm door and inside door (which the previous piano movers did and didn't put the door back). Bill is obviously experienced and it shows that he enjoys what he does. They came early and the move was quick and very efficient. On top of that, Bill has a very pleasant demeanor and rapport with his customers. I will definitely use them for all of my piano moving needs and have also scheduled an appointment with them to tune my piano.

Initially, there was some confusion because several different people were involved.  Once I toured their operation, and had several in-depth conversations with two knowledgable employees, the job went smoothly.  As I understand what was done, the entire piece was stipped to bare wood and then a finish similar to the original applied.  This desk was made in 1965 to match an older 4-drawer chest.  The resulting new finish matched the chest very well.

The final price was a little more than I expected to spend, but the outcome was worth the cost.

The movers were extremely competent.  The coordination of pick-up and delivery was great.

These are wonderful people to do business with and the quality of their work is outstanding.

Our recliner was broken and was no longer usable. One person quoted us several hundred dollars to repair the chair at his shop. We found this service and made an appointment. He charged us $140 and we tipped him $45. He showed up on time. He repaired the chair in our home in under two hours. He didn't make a mess and was very polite and professional. We would definitely use the service again.
