Very knowledgeable and friendly receptionist who explained work to be done in detail.  The alternator blew and destroyed the battery and the car had to be towed there.  I was kept informed in a timely manner of repair and cost.  They fixed it in the time they stated.  Unfortunately, there was an unseen problem with one of the parts and the alternator went, again, about a month later.  The owner was sincerely apologetic and got my car into their shop the day it happened.  I was able to pick it up by the end of the day and the owner, again, apologized explaining this can happen.  He did not charge me anymore for this added labor (part covered by warranty.  This will be my garage of choice for all future auto service and I continue to tell others about their great service and honesty.

The technician changed the oil, however the engine light was off. The technician told me that it would cost about $50.00 to do a diagnostic test and it may or may not indicate a problem with the light out. I opted not to have the test done. He also advised if anything was found, that they wouldn't be able to work on the vehicle due to their work load and suggested I bring back the vehicle the next day. I also informed him that I had a Sensor Relay switch that supposedly shortened out back in February 2013.
I explained to the service agent that my 2008 Suzuki Forenza would act like it was shifting itself into 3rd gear, would hesitate going up a steep hill with the accelerator to the floor. The vehicle would barely get any speed to go up the hill, yet the RPM needle would be high. I was also concerned about when the vehicle would be idling at an intersection and even though in drive mode, the vehicle acted like it didn't want to move forward when the accelerator was pressed.
After explaining all of this to him, he didn't seem to concerned and just said there were no recalls on the vehicle. I explained to him that I looked on line for problems with this vehicle and that there were several complaints filed on line with similar problems to mine.
I would have expected that maybe someone there would contact the maker of the vehicle to find out why so many Forenza's are having issues with the transmission and or the transmission sensor relay.
As far as for how they treat their customers, I find them to be professional and courteous. I find their Labor Rate extremely high but at least they wash your vehicle when you have it serviced.

Found oil leaking under van,had vehicle towed so as to not risk any damage.Told service dept. where leak was---still had a drop of oil on the line.Service writer said I had to pay for 1 hour troubleshooting----I told him what the problem was and where the leaking fluid was but he insisted on charging me for troubleshooting. A BLIND person could have seen where and what was the problem. That ended my trips to Burdicks. Prior to that experience I had both front tie rods replaced. Left the garage and noticed that something was wrong. The following day I returned because BOTH tie rods were loose--- probably never tightened.Enough is enough---I haven't returned since.
