I have been using Mr. Timothy Lynch's services with Red Hook Engineering for around a year now, and I am actually going out of my way to find his Business, and Rate his services with 5 Stars's All the Way, in Every Way.. Mr. Lynch has been Very Proffessional, and Dependable for any Questions, or services needed to help fulfill All of the aspects you could Ever Hope for when hiring an Engineer. I recommend his services to Anyone, and I would even refer my Grandmother to him, if she was still with us. I have noticed with Many Situations that when you Find the good ones, appreciate them, because Not all businesses these days have the Honer I believe Tim Lynch to have, he is a Gem...

I'd already gotten some other quotes. Theirs was the best and instead of taking 3 months like the others indicated, they came the next week. This survey was needed to procure title insurance and for accuracy he had to do the entire shoreline of the Eldorado Shores which involved 7 camps. They were very pleasant and did the job accurately even with about 6 inches of snow on the ground. Gerry Kostyk actually performed thesurvey and we've already referred him to friends who are also very pleased with him.

George has worked out very well. I have spent $3000 so far. It is going to be $4500, unless there is additional fees which I don't know about yet. He is very good with giving frequent feedback. He provides PDFs via email. He is available by phone. He is just a friendly person. He was recommended to us by our builder. Our builder uses him frequently. I think the pricing is very reasonable.

    David Dalo
Working with Dave was great. He was very responsive and professional. He really knows the work and the materials, so we felt well informed all the time. We had a good builder. At times though Dave had to step in to be the strong voice for what we wanted. Specifically, some wood flooring and a tub were not installed well. Dave made sure these areas were redone to our satisfaction.

I was very impressed with the quality and detail in the drawings. I paid a lot, but I GOT what I paid for and more. I am an engineer myself, so I knew what good quality construction drawings were before I hired him. I had my house project quoted by many other architects and drafters in WNY before I went to Rochester to James Fahy Designs. It was well worth the trip. Every contractor and sub-contractor that looks at my plans is very impressed with the detail and accuracy in the design. I have had no problems at all with his work throughout my construction process, he is very good; well known, and has many national awards for his residential designs. He is custom, personal, and is not just an architect, he is also an architectural engineer which was a plus. I would recommend him again if you want it done right the first time, he is well worth the money. Plus, his large staff and he are very open to answering your questions during the construction. I was very happy.

I called and was put through to Gerry Kostyk. I explained where the property was and inquired as to a time-frame and a quote. He got back to me the same day (which was a Monday) and said he could do the ground work that week. I think it helped that it was mid-winter.. He quoted me between $1,000 and $1,500. This was substantially less than other competing quotes we had gotten He did the work when he said he would, which in this case involved taking reference points on the entire subdivision which is ten lots as well as some neighboring properties. We needed some additional services including a map of the lot locating structures, so the total grew to $2,000. He was prompt, pleasant and efficient. I highly recommend him.

    Claudia Brenner Design
This lady saved my life. I tried to remodel an old farmhouse myself, How tough could that be? After having to move the stairs twice, and realizing that the new plan meant we would have to fly about three feet to get to the second floor, I finally wised up and decided we needed a plan. Claudia was highly recommended as a person with lots of ideas who also knew all the updated code requirements, and was very concerned with cost. Thank heavens she agreed to step into the middle of this mess. She has been great. Her first concern was what we really wanted the place to be in the end. Then she told us what couldn't possibly work (tough love, just what I needed), and what really creative options existed. For example, she strongly disapproved of eliminating an old stairway to the kitchen, saving us a ton of money, but more importantly, when we added a window on the landing of that staircase, it became one of my favorite places in the house. I highly recommend this architect.

    Forest Kitchen & Bath
I purchased my kitchen cabinets from Forest Kitchen and Bath.  The quality, price, and service was exceptional, but what prompted me to write a review was the continued service and personal help that came afterward.  Due to a misunderstanding having nothing to do with Forest Kitchen and Bath, I needed to make an adjustment to my plans that was going to cause me to have to purchase additional items and create an unexpected expense I was not happy about.  When the owner of Forest Kitchen and Bath heard the circumstances leading to the additional purchase, he had his representative contact me and reduced the price for the change, for no reason other than great customer service and compassion.  There are few and far between, retail establishments that offer such personal customer service before, during, and then still AFTER, the initial purchase, especially one where repeat sales may be 20 years apart.  I highly recommend them!
