  My experience with Farmington Service was fine. My son had used them and recommended them. They were busy enough that they couldn't get to us for a few days. They did a good job. The price seem to be fair for what they had done.

  SAXBYS COLLISION

  Saxby's was called ahead and accepted the repair work. The work is impeccable. No price surprises. The people are friendly and helpful.
  The issue is the length of time between when you drop off the vehicle and when the work is complete.
  The recent vehicle is one we use daily. Three weeks after dropping it off  we called to ask about the progress. The replacement parts were not yet ordered. They had a host of questions about replacing trim, etc. It was a full 5 weeks before they called to say the vehicle was ready - 5 weeks of driving each other to work (we each work 20 miles from home in opposite directions), modifying work schedules, changing vacation lans, moving car seats and borrowing a vehicle from a family member on a day he was not going to work.
  Saxby's did not offer a loaner or contact us in between.
  We are very satisfied with the quality of the work. However, the time between dropping off the vehicles and completion has varied widely - even wildly.  Body work and painting was completed within a week on one vehicle. On the current vehicle it was 5 weeks. On another, we were called 6 months after dropping off our car.  To be fair, we did tell Saxby's there was no rush but 6 months? We asked them a number of times when we could expect the job to be complete. In this case, the paint had failed and we did not need replacement parts or dent removal.
  My suggestion is to be clear up front about 1) how you use the vehicle (daily, occasionally), 2) what options you don't need to contacted about and 3) at what point you will require the vehicle. Be prepared to be without the vehicle for an extended period

  Crane's Automotive Service Inc

  This firm is reliable and professional. When the job requires an estimate, the job always comes in on or under estimate. The Shop Manager has excellent communication skills, is patient, and pays attention to his customers' needs. Both vehicles have needed a wide range of service in the past 10 months. The service has always been excellent. I hope to be doing businesss with Crane's Automotive Services for years to come.

  TROMBLEY TIRE & AUTO

  I picked out the tires after reviewing the options with the manager.  I described the wear problems with the brakes after 50,000 miles. He asked questions about use and the expected number of years that I planned to own the vehicle. He could easily have put me in a more expensive set of tires, but chose to recommend something more practical for the situation. The tires and brakes costs were less than the area Ford dealer charges for the same. I returned to this service center because of a similar experience I had the previous year purchasing Michelin tires for my Buick.  The managers seem well organized. Their systems are in place to deliver prompt and efficient service.

  Jjs Auto

  Our daughter returned from college with a broken muffler Thursday evening. She needed to return the following Sunday afternoon. We called JJS Auto and his first opening was Tuesday the following week which did not work for us. We pleaded our case and he said to bring it in Friday and he would take care of it. He replaced the pipe and resonator section, repared the hangers and had it ready for us later that afternoon. Did a great job, was friendly and helpful.
