    Fancher Appliance
    The "technician" sent to my house was unaware of any A/C technical knowledge. I was billed in excess of 300 dollars. I promptly paid the bill. The A/C system did not work after the visit. I contacted Fancher and was told that the "technician" was fired because he was unqualified to service A/C units...and...I was told that a qualified technician would be sent to fix the problem. The qualified technician was scheduled to arrive at 1PM. The qualified technician was 3 hours late and later (after I once again re-contacted Fancher) claimed that he was "unaware" of the scheduled appointment. I needed to re-schedule the appointment. I re-contacted Fancher and Fancher has refused to return my contact. This is a pathetic customer service situation. If you hire Fancher...good luck...I will never use them or refer them for any A/C or heating work. Fancher decided not to contact me...this is the opposite of customer service....it is unacceptable in the competitive business world.

    They did a great job. We didn't need new duct work which made the job easier. The salesman did a great job explaining our options and worked hard to squeeze us in as soon as possible. The workers were efficient. All in all a good experience. We love our central air. It has only been a few weeks but so far great job!

    Everything from start to finish was excellent! In two days Mike and his partner had the job done and left everything completely cleaned up. Mike takes great pride in providing excellent service and complete customer satisfaction at reasonable rates! I highly recommend Mike for all plumbing/HVAC needs. You won't be disappointed!

    They left the pipe loose or they never did put the screws back in after they cleaned it. I don't know what really happened, but I know the pipe came off the top of the boiler and the fumes were coming in. They did a good job cleaning it, they just didn't finish the job properly. They could probably provide better training for their service people. It might have been a new guy, I don't know. They could have a checklist of things they should do. They were very polite and they did do a good job cleaning it, it's just that they left that off. It wasn't the best price, but it was within. You have to call them a couple of times. They were here when they said they were going to be. I did use them again for my wood stove.

    ANC had come to service when I first bought the home. They came and serviced my boiler and they didn't screw the exhaust pipe back on. So when I called Economy Heating they came. Because I smelled fuel oil in the basement, I called them, they were right there within an hour and they went in and found that the pipe had blown off and I was getting fumes in the house. So that is what they fixed. They did very good. What stood out the most was how quick they got here to help out and find the problem why the boiler fumed. It was a call in, so I had to pay a little bit more. So I wasn't real happy about that.

    They were cleaning the boiler, getting it ready for the winter. They're always right there for you. They're reliable, they're right there when you call, they're concerned about if you're cold/warm. If you need help, they're just right there for you. Their price is very normal. They actually fix something that ANC did wrong. I never really deal with them, they come in when I'm at work and they're gone. When I talk to them on the phone, they're very professional.

    It went really well. I ended up needing a new furnace to replace me really old, 1970s "magic chef". I also needed new duct work because some of the old returns were closed off from the previous owner. They installed the new furnace within a day, and had all of the ductwork done by the day after. They also removed an old broken down air conditioner, and fixed something on the upstairs unit's furnace that they just happened to notice. They kept me in the loop, and before the work was done spent several minutes discussing the issues with me on the phone so that I understood the problems. They gave me a lot of options as to how it could be fixed, and did not pressure me into anything. At one point when the job was complete they accidentally shut the power off to my dryer (because the old broken AC was tapped into the same circuit), but once notified, they promptly came over and fixed it. They offered to come out on a weekend, but I told them that it was not an emergency. The only outstanding thing going on right now is that some of the new duct work they installed is noisy, but I am confident that the second I call them they will have someone over here promptly to take a look and fix it. They also offer no interest financing, or you can pay 1/2 up front and 1/2 when job completed. Another note on price. They do not do the flat $$$ for first hour + $$$/hour after that. They have a very reasonable diagnostic fee, and then after that they price out the repair. In my situation, they waved the diagnostic fee, because they knew I would need a lot more work done, which I thought was pretty nice.

    Chose Petcosky & Sons based on great reviews on Angie's List. I was not disappointed. Chris was friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. I am having him come back next month for maintenance on the second floor furnace and I am asking for Chris. I paid $155 for the service call and parts.

    I have a home in Binghamton with some rental units. I don`t live in the area which makes things complicated. Especially when repairs are needed. Mr. Dunlap is a professional in every sense of the term. He is punctual, honest, kind and knowledgeable in all aspects of his trade. That's why I've been using his services for years now and i will continue to do so in the future. Being so far away, it can be worrisome to send strangers into your tenants homes. You always hope that they, their familys, and the home will be respected. Not to mention the quality of the work. From the start, I've always had the sense that Mr. Dunlap not only is knowledgeable and skilled to address any plumbing issue that may arise but also cares about the quality of the service provided and the convenience of my tenants as it relates to the repair. One h*** of a plumber whose always been kind to me and my tenants.
