    Chimney Solutions
They were very high-priced. For what I wanted, it was $2800. I then got it done the next week for $300. The top block on my chimney must have come loose, it had shifted around in a windstorm, it was just sort of hanging up there. I had it resurfaced all the way down and then I had it painted. It was all done within a couple of days and it was $300. I just couldn't believe it was that much. They could look around the area and see what everybody else is quoting. The guy was sort of arrogant, but that was not part of the quote, so I just sort of ignored that. He acted like he really didn't care if he got it or not, he wasn't that personable either. So, I just said, "Okay, fine, I'll call you," and let him go because I just had had enough of him. The price was just too much. They did come back after I called them. They came up and gave me a quote.

I called Pickett's Painting to give us a quote on refinishing/painting our outdoor pergola and small concrete pad. Rob Pickett was prompt in his response and came right over to give us the quote on 4/24/16. His quote was extremely reasonable and less than all of the other quotes. He told us he would have the work done by the end of May. He called us on May 15th and asked if he could come on Tuesday and do the work. Rob and his crew arrived promptly on Tuesday morning. They were professional and very courteous. They had the pergola and pad done that day and they did a beautiful job. They exceeded our expectations. They did such a great job - 2 of our neighbors have hired them to paint the exterior of their homes. I would absolutely hire Pickett's Painting for future work and I would recommend them to anyone that wants high quality, professional work done at a very reasonable price.

    EcoPro Power Washing, Inc.
This is the second job Seth has performed for me.. He did such a great job on 1 of my commercial properties (gutter cleaning, vinyl siding and shutters) that I asked him to also clean my home. He showed up on time for the scheduled maintenance work and worked straight through for about 3 hours cleaning the entire exterior of my house and around my inground pool.. He exemplifies professionalism in every aspect of his job. From the initial quote to when he was driving away, he did a fantastic job on everything. The concrete pad around my pool looked brand new as soon as the water dried. The house looked great just as it did when it was first sided. I would recommend him to anyone.

    Edward Kalinski
Ed called me back the first day I called him and was able to get the painting done for me before Thanksgiving which was only a couple weeks away. He was willing to move the furniture around as need, covered everything well and there was absolutely no mess left when he finished. It's obvious Ed is a very hard worker and was also very friendly to my family members who were around at times, and also payed attention to my dog! I will call Ed for any painting I need done in the future as he did a fine, meticulous job.

    Jimmy DiFulvio Construction
Wow, this was PAINLESS!  We hired Jimmy to do some work on our mom's house, and on top of giving us the best estimate, he was great from start to finish:  punctual, excellent on communication, thorough on the details, stayed on schedule (yeah, the weather helped, too, mostly), checked on things frequently, etc.  Everything looks great!  His crew was great, too, and cleaned up every day.  He will be the first person we call the next time we need anything done on the house!

Butch was paid $13,900.00 in full and my house looked great for almost 1 year.
The wood must not have been properly prepped or treated because by the end  the first year the paint lifted, peeled and fell off.
I contacted Butch many times (aka William Graham) regarding the issue. Many times he said his workers would remedy clean up and repaint. He did not uphold his written guarantee of 3 years and did not ever return to my home. I filed a complaint with the NY Attorney General's Office, Bureau of Consumer affairs. At this point I am in year 2 with paint hanging off of my clapboards and littering the grounds. Let's just say all curb appeal of my home had been lost by month 14. I had to hire help and personally scrape, prime, and clean up my yard from all of the fallen paint that spring. We could only reach the 1st and 2nd story. My experience with Butch was incredibly frustrating, very expensive, and ugly disaster.

They arrived on schedule.   The work was done as per the quote.
The work was done very neatly and they left no mess when the job was done.
    I would use them again.

I couldn't ask for better people and paint job. It was drawn out because of stormy weather the first week and a half and ended up taking three weeks. It was just Bill sr. and jr. And they went out of there way to do anything you asked , were very neat and my dog greatly enjoyed the extra attention. If you want a good paint job call the Sullivan's. I will be using them for my interior once the weather turns cold.

    4D Repairs & Restorations
Called Keith to price gutters. While he was there, I had him look at and quote work on the back deck and support for the 2nd story porch. The existing support was 4"x4" posts which looked inadequate for the job - had they failed, the entire porch would have ripped from the house. I asked Keith to replace the posts with 6x6s and to sister a 2x12 to the existing 2x12 2nd floor header.
When he looked at the foundation, he noted (and I agreed) that the walls below the deck on either side of the cellar entrance were failing - and they were part of the support for the deck which in turn supported the porch. As part of this job, he replaced four feet of wall on either side of the basement steps, reinforced the remaining four feet of wall, replaced 2-4x4 posts with 2-6x6 pressure treated posts and sistered a 2x12 to the entire perimeter of the 2nd floor porch (about 20 feet by 6 feet).
The job was complicated since one of the porch supports was not directly over the poured concrete pilaster so Keith nailed several pieces of 2x8 between two 2x8 joists to transfer the load to the pilaster. He also put up and painted a piece of chip board to block off the underside of the deck where the dogs like to plan their escape to the great outdoors.
I am very satisfied with the work done in relation to the price charged and 4D will be my first call for future work.
My only disappointment was that Keith subcontracts the gutter work. Although the price he quoted was excellent, actually getting the subcontractor on site to quote the job has proven impossible to date (almost 6 weeks).

These people are just lovely. They are very professional and knowledgeable. They were very nice. The same people come each time. It is a privately owned business. Two men are partners who work together. The come and explain what the problem is and how to prevent it from happening again. They were a little expensive, but worth it.
