    Pusey, Chloe A.
I went in for my yearly skin check-up. Previously I used to see Stanley Anderson at the practice but he moved away. Since this was my first visit with Chloe Pusey, I didn't know what to expect. The day I visited she had a college student with her from BU and asked if it would be alright if she stayed in the room. During the exam she indicated something on my forehead that she felt needed to be frozen off. Since I'm not the professional in this case, I took her word for it. She directed me to get dressed and then she would come back and do the simple procedure. Upon looking in the mirror, the only thing I could see on my forehead was a flake of scab/dry skin where an old pimple was healing. As I touched it, it flaked off. When Chloe came back in the room she could no longer find the "problem area" that needed to be frozen off. I bit my tongue but refuse to see her again. Not sure if she was showing off for the college student or what, but clearly a piece of dry skin did not need to be frozen off. This incident made me lose all confidence in her.

    Joseph M Newmark, MD
In the past I have seen Stanley Anderson and I really liked him. Rarely did I actually see Dr. Newmark. However, Dr. Anderson had since moved on to another opportunity and in February I was in to see Chloe Pusey. Overall, I was not too thrilled with her. I felt her personality and demeanor to be a bit frigid. She apparently found something on my forehead that she felt needed to be frozen off, which I was hesitant about. I was told to get dressed and when she left, I looked in the mirror and touched the spot I thought she might be talking about. Yeah...a dry piece of skin flaked off. Hmm...I couldn't decide what she was talking about. When she came back in she was perplexed because she could no longer find the spot that she felt had to be frozen off. Seriously? She was going to freeze off a piece of dry skin that was leftover from an healing pimple? Yikes. Not too thrilled to see her again.

    Update: 7/20/2015
To begin with, the office previously called on a Friday, while I was at work, and left a message about an appointment on the upcoming appointment. I admit that I had forgotten my appointment, but I when I was able to call back (after 3pm when I left work), the office was already closed for the day. The only option that left me was to call on Monday and cancel. I rescheduled for today, 7/20/15. My appointment was for 3:50pm. I arrived right at my appointment time, knowing they run late. When I was not called back at 4:35 - 45 minutes after my appointment time - I was standing up to walk out when they called me back. I told the nurse that I was extremely upset that they have such disregard for a patients time. Originally she started off by apoligizing, but then quickly flipped the tables and told me that I was lucky it was only a 45 minute wait because apparently "dermatoligsts frequently have longer waits than that". I told her that it was completely unacceptable and if they have 45+ minute waits, they need to stop booking so many patients or hire more staff. When she left my room, I started the timer on my cell phone. She clearly talked to Dr. Newmark as they were both back in my room within the minute. He apologized and quickly did my skin check. When all was said and done, I waited 45 minutes to have staff spend a whopping 4 minutes 8 seconds with me. You can bet that I will be finding a new dermatologist as this was the last straw.
