    It went very well since I chose to have a professional handle it. He had to tweak the part for the heat levels to fit correctly on my stove's knob, something I would not have known how to do. He also knew what wires go into the spots on the new module which was configured differently and had no color coding. The particular oven element was also hard to find since the parts for older stoves are limited in supply. (Once the items are depleted, they may not necessarily be replaced.) The original oven element also was difficult to remove since the it hadn't been replaced ever. To his credit, Daniel knew exactly what to do and how to deal with the problems of a stove that did not want to give up its old, worn out parts! Daniel was here promptly, calling in advance, put paper "booties" over his shoes before he came into the house, and was very nice, courteous and, most of all, knew exactly what to to. Great job, Daniel! I highly recommend him!

    salesman john was on time and very nice explained everything , laid everything out in detail answered all questions met him on saturday job was done monday (buderus gc124/25 gas boiler and rheem 50 gallon hot water tank) roughly 830-3pm oil tank removed pipes taken out from inside and outside as if i never had oil. guys were very respectful and work looked great my father is very handy and knowledgable and said work was done right no corners cut and they left there work area they way they arrived spotless. steel chimney liner goes in tuesday hopefully that all goes well and hopefully it is a good winter and no problems with the boiler or anything . thinking of doing central air next year and would def. use the company if there is no problems this winter.

    Technician was on time, courteous, professional, and repair was done perfectly. However, the cost of service seems to be way too high. The repair only took about 20 minutes. The bottom hinge that was replaced did not look like a very expensive part.

    Therefore, the cost for service of $255.00 seems way excessive.

    All correspondence was done through email and was very prompt and responsive. Ramon River was very kind, courteous and professional.  He is a great representative for the company.  Ramon wanted to return the next day to make the repair to my washer, but my schedule would not allow it.  I’ve used other home repair services in the past that were more expensive and after the part was ordered & delivered to my home I had to make another appt to have them come back in to install which usually added 2 weeks plus onto my original visit.

    A tech arrived and reviewed my claim.  He said that the type of mechanism this refridgerator uses is very sophisticated and when set it must be left alone for at least 24 hours for the cycle to adjust to the new setting, and that a variation of 2to 3 degrees was normal.
    He did not charge me anything for the service call and told me to reset the temperature waite 24 hours and call the company after that period of time and let them know how it worked.  I did as he suggested and 24 hrs later the temperature held and I have been happy with the performance of the refridgerator since then.

    I had a great experience with Universe.  We converted an ancient oil system to gas.  As promised, Universe coordinated gas line installation and all other major facets of the conversion.  All I had to do was submit the rebate form.  
    I should start by saying that this was not an easy conversion. They did it in the middle of an awful July heat wave.  There was trouble removing the original burner. And, we had a steam return line that was routed through the legs of our oil tank.  The return line was cut and re-routed so that it would hug the wall and remain out of sight.  
    They did have to return a second time to complete the installation due to the return line and also due to poor placement of the burner.  After being asked to tuck the burner into the back corner, the first crew did the opposite and placed the burner and water heater so that they effectively cut off a 3 x 3 corner of my basement, rendering it inaccessible and useless.  The burner also blocked a wall where i intended to place a door to a storage area.  I called and explained the situation.  They sent a manager  named Tim right away.  Tim looked at the work and explained that it would be a tight fit to arrange the systems as I wanted.  He then arranged to have a second crew come in and do the work at no extra charge.  
    The second crew came and did an excellent job.  The unit was tucked away right where i envisioned it and I can now put in the door I wanted.

    My oven ignitor was not working.  I checked Angie's List and found Steve's had by far the most and best reviews.   I called Steve early Monday morning and explained my problem.  He was very busy but was able to come by and check my oven.  Steve replaced the  ignitor and made sure it worked properly before he left.  In addition he gave me a years warranty on parts and labor.
     He is the best!   My oven breaks during a heat wave , yes I was cooking, no air conditioning and my oven is repaired before lunch.  Steve responded promptly and timely.  I would use him again and recommend him to others.

    My refridgerator is a GE Profile bottom freezer approximately 18 cubic sq. foot.  It is about 7 years old.  About 2 years ago the temperature in the ref. and freezer began to fluctuate.  We kept trying to correct it with the thermostat but couldn't , so we called the GE service as we had an extended contract on the unit.  The service tech came and changed the circuit board controling the fan which controls the thermostat but he used a reconditioned part to make the repair. About 15 months later the same problem occurred I called GE and  when the service tech. came the day was very mild and the temperature in the refridgerator was pretty stable, the tech said he couldn't find anything wrong.  I tried to explain that the same thing had happened before and the unit needed a new circuit board.  Not so he stated and left.  Since then we have been having the same problem , and now in the hotter weather it has gotten worse.  My extended warentee has expired so I called Universal from your website.  It seemes that we had used them before when we had an Amana refridgerator.  They came the next day, I explained the problem to the service tech and hechecked out the unit.  The fan was barely running and the side and under the unit was very hot.  He had the necessary circuit board on his truck and made the repair, but this time he installed a new circuit board.  He said he always carries at least two on his truck as it is a common problem with GE units, and he couldn't understand why they would use a reconditioned part.  Universal only uses new parts and he showed me the part he removed that had a different number than the new replacement and that it was labled "reconditioned".  A person at Universal called me twice telling me the tech was delayed because of  the extent of his load that day someone called in sick and he was picking up extra stops, but he was only about 15 minutes outside of the time frame I was given.  Besides Icalled on Friday afternoon and got an apointment the next I was not upset by the minor delay.  The problem was fixed and it is guarenteed for a year.  The tech was very polite and worked quickly .  He explained everything very throughly and worked very clean.  I was very happy with the whole experience.  From now on I'll stick to Sears Kenmore appliances, thoes I never have a problem with.

    He (tommy) arrived on time, and checked out the dryer, which was about 6 yeard old. He told me the problem was caused by defective gas solonoid coils. He had the part available, and was able to fix my dryer on the same visit for $205. no service charge, since a repair was done, and also gave parts and labor guarantee for 1 year. I was quite happy with the result. He was friendly and professional. I have used this company for several other repairs in the past, and will use them again. I've recommended this co to several of my friends who were happy with his service.
