    ISE Plumbing & Heating
Brian had a couple of other jobs but was able to make it to my house in the evening. He quickly diagnosed the problem with the tub faucet and swapped out the cartridge, which had frozen and cracked. Pretty straightforward and Brian was able to resolve it quickly. The sink faucet had similar problem but was more problematic. Brian had to disconnect a lot of the plumbing to extract the cold water tap and extract the cartridge. Was a bit of struggle since it was screwed on very tight. But he was able to finally remove and replace the cartridge, and then reconnect everything. He also noticed that the water in the toilet was frozen and that the flapper was about to go, so he swapped that out quickly. All together, it was a couple of hours of work, but he was able to resolve everything, which was a big relief.

    Horizon Services, Inc.
I wasn't very happy with them. I thought their prices were very high. I thought they were high. All they did was install a faucet and they charged me $300 and I thought that was excessive. They work was good. I would not recommend them because of their pricing. They're just too expensive.

    Remodeling Concepts
It was a pleasure working with Derek and his outstanding crew. Very professional, polite, and any questions we had were answered immediately. The bathroom was a complete gut and all issues with plumbing and electric were corrected. This company is the complete package. We had other estimates and none came close to the cost of this remodel. The time frame was right before Christmas and Derek promised the work would be done, and it was. The crew worked very hard putting in extra hours to make sure it was completed. We now have a beautiful bathroom! Thank you again for a job well done.

D Rohde Heating, Plumbing and AC
The beginning of the work seemed great but as I am become more knowledgeable about sump-pump and valve and plumbing work, it appear that they use the cheapest material which caused me to spent more money and hire another company to fix D. Rhode's work.

    Go Green Express Home Services

I had a flood in my kitchen and I called them and they came and fixed it and I bought materials to fix my sink and add things in. They ended up being way too expensive for the parts, they were overpriced for what they were. I did a service contract with them before I found out how much the parts were so I was glued to that. They left and then my kitchen flooded even worse. I called them to complain and then they were going to charge for what they broke. The manager called back and said can you please give us an opportunity to correct everything and I will suspend the service charge on your contract for a couple months. I knew that I was not going to call them back because I got another estimate for changing the hardware in my bathroom, based on the fact that they said it was in violation. But the city of Beacon said it was not in violation. I cancelled because that was not the field. They were disappointing; the estimates were inflated and they did not tell the truth. It was a con job.

    Rycor LLC
tThe workmanship was great and the price on par with the other three estimates we got. What makes me want to give Rycor HVAC an A++ is the honesty and integrity of  Scott, the owner. Of the three companies that gave us esimates, he was the only one who told us we didn't need to replace the furnace (originally we were looking to replace the heat and hot water) saving us (and costing himself) around $5,000. On top of that, when he gave us the estimate he also adjusted our furnace so we could get more hot water while we were waiting for the new system. Plus he showed me how to bleed the radiators to improve our heat!
This is one of those rarest of businesses: a business that truly puts the customer first.
I give Rycor HVAC my highest recommendation.
    GREAT! GREAT! GREAT!

Folkes Heating Cooling and Burner Service
They were okay. It wasn't great. They do hot water heater for me. It started to overflow and they came back. Then they said, I needed a holding tank which they should have done in the first place. The quality was impaired by the time they came back and put in a holding tank. I will probably use them again

    McMillen Brothers
Our contractor redid floors, countertops, faucet, sink etc when gutting and revamping the first floor of our home.  Since then we have been annoyed by a variety of leaks over the course of 3 years.  Nothing that our handyman couldn't handle, but with the replacement of the dishwasher with an awesome new bosch a few months ago...the situation got out of hand.  We called McMillen Brothers and were so happy that they came to the house and tried to temporarily patch the problem while the best approach for a long term fix was decided upon.  By the way, there was no charge for the first house call and temporary repair.  It wasn't long before he was ready with the special parts and plan...and was at the house again.  He did a wonderful job, just what we wanted and needed!  He did it quickly, politely and left with a smile, just telling us the bill was to come in the mail.  When it came...I almost wanted to call and ask if it was an installment plan!  No, it was the entire bill, parts labor etc.  We were happy to pay a reasonable sum for a job well done.  Still no problems, or leaks nearly a month later.  They will always be called for any plumbing or heating need we have in this home!!!

ELECTRIC SNAKE SEWER AND DRAIN SVCE INC.
He was able to snake and unclog the kitchen main pipes and adjacent pipes for the bathroom.  He explained every step and even showed the pipe in the basement were the main clog was located. I appreciated him explaining everything in detail. I would definitely call them again for any future problems.
