    Tischler, Dr. Maurice
I have been using him for thirty years. He has re-capped almost every tooth. He listens to me and he is very gentle. He is very careful with the way that he works with everyone.

    Pine Street Dental Associates
After questioning if I was in any immediate pain, my first appointment was scheduled, it was up to me to I did. The first appointment was a look-see and and quot;Let's make a plan.and quot; I explained to the new doctor I was seeing (Dr. Kronick) my current insurance benefits, that I had actually been working towards a goal of getting my smile back, had been having extractions the last few years in prep of perhaps some dentures, and that I wanted to work over the next few years to max out my yearly benefits towards that long-term goal. Dr. Kronick was anything BUT a new dentist (25 years practice out of the area). After concern over any current pain, Dr. Kronick worked with me to stay within my insurance limits and provide his services to help me towards that goal smiling again. Things could not have gone any better. The first visit took care of some hot spots. By the end of my second visit, my wife said I was smiling without embarassment for the first time in many moons. Third and fouth visits were equally well performed and received. One more visit is planned this year, then I'll be back in January to work on the next stage. The people at Pine Street Dental met my most immediate goals without hesitation: eliminate the fear, and bring back the smile. I would highly recommend Pine Street Dental. They are just plain good, honest, hard-working Catskill region people. (BTW, this is my first review since hooking up with Angie....I hope it helps someone else find some relief.king

    Habeeb, Dr. George N.
He is a good man, and he is very caring.  He is also very thorough.  He get's a A in everything, except in punctuality.  You have to wait for him, but it's worth it.  I got no complaints. The office environment is a B, but that's OK.  He concentrates on the most important thing, which is keeping you well.

    Schiff, Dr. Martin W
I've been going to Dr. Schiff for years, because he's the quintessential dentist in my book. He's meticulous with his work. Sometimes this backs up his schedule as when he encounters a problem, so even though he's behind sometimes, it's for good reason and not because he's careless about it. I'd prefer a dentist to be that way and not rush through something because of the time factor. He explains everything in detail, to a fault sometimes. After being in the chair over the years, I can tell he's a decent person besides being a good dentist. The hygienists and office staff are wonderful. Ramona at the desk is a peach.

    Neal Lehrman DDS
After doing research on the LANAP procedure I found only a handful of periodontists offering it in my area. I visited Dr. Lehrman at his Middletown, NY location which I understand he is closing. I asked to have nitrous oxide for the Novocain injections since I knew there would be a series of them for my whole mouth and I have problems with a single injection. Dr. Lehrman played a good game, seemingly expressing concern. The day of the procedure I asked for clarification on the injections, because if it was a series of small injections then I thought perhaps I could do without the nitrous. He assured me that I wouldn't need the nitrous. Then in starting the procedure he totally disregarded my sensitivity to needles, jabbing me repeatedly until I was in tears. I can't tell you how many times he claimed "just one more" or "this is it" and he just kept going. Dr. Lehrman took what should have been a relatively painless procedure and made it into a painful and traumatic event. Adding insult to injury, Dr, Lehrman then charged me an additional fee for the first cleaning, which he insisted at the consultation he would need to do, but that it would be included in the cost of the procedure. It has now been a year and a half since the procedure and while I have some positive results from the procedure, the experience still haunts me.
