They are okay. We've been trying to change the account name the last six weeks or so but that's becoming difficult. The last time they were here, they fixed the problem right away and they came when they were supposed to.

    VOICERAL COMMUNICATIONS INC
I had this service since 2006 and for the most part it was acceptable. Some dropped calls, unable to call out, things like that, but unplugging the modem and letting it reboot usually fixed the problem. The service was very cheap in the beginning, $19.00. When it started to go up, the company offered a "pay for a year in advance and lock in the rate" deal. On August 27, 2008, after agreeing to the "deal", I was charged $293.79 on my MasterCard. The service was still spotty but acceptable. It started getting progressively worse, with dropped calls happening more and more frequently and calls just not going through. By Thanksgiving I was unable to use my phone. If someone called me, I could hear them but they could not hear me. If I tried to call anyone, again, I could hear them but they could not hear me. By this time I had been in contact with Convoy (the owner of Voiceral) and he blamed my inability to reboot the modem, Magic Jack (which I got after these problems began in order to have a working phone), disconnected ethernet cable and the best was, "Time Warner did it". Although I asked him several times if perhaps his modem was at fault (like broken), he would not admit to that possibility. When he finally said he had sent out a new modem and told me to return the old one or I would be charged $40.00, I had already decided to go with Time Warner's phone service. I told him his terrible service necessitated my finding a new provider and I was sending his modems back. Although I did not have a working phone due to the lack of modem, my account was active and I could get my voicemail on line. Time Warner set the date to port my number for Dec. 18. When they tried to port the number it was rejected because my zip code did not match the one Voiceral had on record. In order to port a number everything has to match, name, address, zip when the new provider requests the info from the old provider. TW rescheduled the port to Jan. 12 and this time it was rejected because my name did not match. It was rescheduled again for Jan. 22 and a week before the port date I was contacted by TW to tell me it was rejected again. This time none of the info matched. By this time I had been through tremendous frustration and had decided to get a new phone number, which I did, on Jan. 22. I continued to check my voicemail messages online. In Jan. I went to log into my account and could not. I emailed Convoy who told me he had canceled my account as per my request in Dec. This was a lie as I never canceled (your number has to be active to port). I was still checking voicemail in Jan. I also printed out the phone logs which shows that he lied. I had my old phone number for 16 years. I filed a complaint with the FCC but that is a long slow process. I want my old number back.
