    Choice Home Warranty
Technician did an excellent job. Not tech’s responsibility, but we were scheduled for Thursday and he was here on Wednesday. A glitch occurred somewhere, but it all worked out. Very pleased.

    Kimlin Energy Services Co Inc
I think they have fake reviews, everyone I know has left them. I have been with Kimlin for 10-15 years. I have a 3 unit propane apt. bld. They were overall fair, better at first than a different company who tried a "scare tactic." After I bought the house and was setting up an account they used the "bubble technique" and stated that I had a leak and needed to sell me new equipment. Many years later, same equipment, no problems. Regarding Kimlin their techs are fair in training. I had a heater that wouldn not stay lite and they had no idea how to fix it, but stated I could buy another unit and charged me for that advice. A friend of mine ordered a part on line for $30, vacuumed it and it has been working fine ever since - years later. They did remove the charge after I complained for their poor advice. After the father retired, the son (3rd generation) took over and the service steadily declined. In the last 4 years I have had 4 tenants have issues with no heat during the winter months. It always seemed to occur when my tenants were away. After many many attempts to resolve the issues with Kimlin, I had to leave. Not another winter with such a risk of freezing pipes. The 1st winter was over Christmas, where I had to babysit the building with electric heaters. Kimlin has charged me to leave, (removal of the tanks and restocking fees). This is unfair practice. Not ethical. I had to leave due to their negligence and they are charging me. This is bizarre and unethical. BBB report and small claims. Watch your bill, they charge inappropriately.

Archibald Heating and Air Conditioning Co
If there was a 0 as a rating option, that is what I would give this company. They are unprofessional, rude, and expensive. Dewitt installed a ductless system at our house two years ago and we are still dealing with a unit that does not respond to the thermostat. We tried to get him to come back out and fix it but he has refused, after yelling at us. We found after he installed the unit that the thermostat was left on top of the dresser with the wire coming down from the ceiling. After calling him to find out if he was finished, we had to pay again for him to come fix it. If you want headaches and to pay top dollar for them, then this is the company to select for any heating and air conditioning.

    OZON Air Duct Cleaning
Sergey called me before he arrived at my home. He came at the beginning of the time frame they originally gave me! This is almost unheard of today, and I really appreciated that. He also did a great job cleaning out the vent. Very professional, polite, respectful. I would highly recommend this company and when I get my air vents cleaned out, I'm not even going to shop around. I'm calling Ozone AirDuct Cleaning!

Life Air Care Duct Cleaning, Inc.
The duct work changed everything! Both the AC and the heating system now work evenly throughout the house with much stronger force. What a difference in use of fuel and comfort! It should be noted that, since the house does not have a basement, all this work was done in a crawl space. Patrick and his very-able crew showed up every morning ontime and left at the end of the day still smiling!

Aire Serv of the Mid-Hudson Valley
Aire Serv was able to come right away to check and replace an old gas furnace that was spewing carbon monoxide into the house. They were prompt, courteous and fixed what easily could have turned into a deadly situation. Everything was left neat and orderly after they were done.  For the amount of work they did, I think I got very good value for my money and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

    Fox Air Corp
We're extremely satisfied with the work Fox Air did replacing and upgrading our entire HVAC system (only the existing oil burning furnace was kept).  We'd spoken with several other possible service providers, but Fox's representative, Nate Rose, did a much better job than others in helping us understand various benefits and options, and making us feel comfortable with such a big expense.  He was always responsive to questions and concerns in a friendly and non-pressuring way.  The actual installation began a day late due to delays on a previous job, but Fox then added a second crew to help finish our work without any additional delay.  Both crews were always on time and easy to have in our home; we took the dog to work with us to keep her out of their way, but otherwise let the crews come and go as they pleased.  They always cleaned up after they left; except for the work itself we would not have known we were a construction site at all.  Nate arranged for a carpenter to come and do the necessary structural and sheet rock work to make the installation possible (new access doors had to be created), and the Fox crews seem to have done a great job upgrading insulation and duct work, as promised.  Fox also followed up after the installation, sending Nate back to check on any remaining issues, and then a technician to review and fine tune everything; they also included a free service of the furnace. FWIW we're also very happy with the equipment itself.  It's been warm so far this winter of course, but the gauge on the oil tank has barely budged, so the Lennox heat pumps Fox sells seem to be working as advertised.  The house is comfortable, the new air handlers are much more quiet and efficient than the old ones, and it's amazing to have our home warmed without the furnace running.  Of course the price of oil is down for now, but it still feels good to know we're pumping less carbon into the atmosphere than before.  Anyway, we couldn't be happier with the whole process.  It was expensive, but the Fox quotes were in line with others, and they did a great job from the initial evaluation and proposal through the installation, and then followup afterwards.
