    Long Island Podiatry Group PC
I was given a boot to wear for six weeks. After that time I went back for a follow-up. I had another X-ray and the bone looked healed. I've been having some pain lately and will go back to have it looked at.

    Jeffrey Krupen MD
He is an independent internist and he provides dedicated time and attention to his patients. He's very warm. He's very smart and practical. He does not over or under-diagnose. He's almost always right. He does not over-medicate. He has an experienced and practical approach to medical care.

It was a good experience. She had a nice office. [14:49]. They make appointments and they keep to the schedule. The staff are very nice. They took good care of my mom and got her right into the hospital on time. I'm a happy customer.

Not only was the physician excellent in relieving one source of the pain immediately but the staff handled a difficult, elderly patient who was very confused with dignity and respect. Their natural empathy was heart-warming to watch.

    Marshall, Dr. Andrew T.
The entire experience was horrible. The staff had no idea what they were doing. Dr. Marshall was rough and left my arm with a huge hematoma. He was arrogant and had no bedside manner. I would never allow him to do any procedure of any kind. The reviews i read put me off. To bad it was after the fact. I did go to another dr and saw the complete opposite of dr marshall .I wish i did not have to endure this2cbutlearned a lesson before it was to late

    Rosenberg, Dr. Peter M
I'm very happy with Dr. Rosenberg. I can generally get appointments for a routine check-up within a week. He is thorough and knows my history well. Asks how my family is doing (with a recollection of who they are). He gives plenty of time for questions and answers about anything I might need to bring up. Questions are responded to with thoughtful answers and useful instruction, including written reference material. When test results are available he leaves detailed messages for me with all the results.
If I'm visiting because of an illness, an appointment can usually be made within a day. Sometimes, since he understands my history well, he may prescribe treatment without need for a visit. He is cautious about over-prescribing medication, but not unwilling to prescribe when appropriate. His treatment instructions are thorough and clear. As with routine check-ups, Dr. Rosenberg gives plenty of time for questions in his office after the exam. His staff does a good job when taking blood, EKGs, blood pressure, etc...
I'm very pleased with Dr. Rosenberg's treatment over the years, and very comfortable in his care.

    Martina Frandina MD
An assistant tended to me first, took down my medical history. She was nice but seemed very rushed. The practice was pretty busy, so there was a sense of being rushed overall. I was also left waiting intermittently, which was annoying, particularly because I was already in the paper gown waiting for the doctor to come in.
When Dr. Frandina came in she went over my medical history that the assistant had input in the computer and I told her that the primary reason for my visit was to have a check-up and to discuss pregnancy. She told me right away that my age - 43 - was a strike against me and that my chances of conceiving were not good. Also, she thought that I should perhaps see a reproductive specialist directly instead of a regular ob/gyn. While I am aware that a woman's chances of getting pregnant once she enters her 40s are significantly lower, I don't need someone to tell me that over and over. Plus, I tried to explain that while I am 43, I haven't been trying to get pregnant. The one time I did, when I was 41, I got pregnant immediately. Unfortunately, it was an ectopic pregnancy and as a result had to have my left fallopian tube removed.
In any case, she said I should try for 3-4 months, but then see a specialist if nothing happened.
She then examined me which involved a breast exam and a pap smear. But no pelvic exam. Also, she told me that if I wanted a pelvic ultrasound I would have to book another appointment - two months later! So on the one hand she's telling me to hurry up and try to conceive but I have to wait two months for an ultrasound, which I think is necessary since I had a fibroid removed 4 years ago and without even a pelvic exam, how could she or I know that everything was okay.
I also told her that in preparing for pregnancy I wanted to make sure that some other medication I had been taking like Tobradex eye drops (which is a steroid and which according to the drug info says it's been shown to cause teratogenesis in animal studies) were out of my system and so I wanted to know what its half life was and how long before it was out of my system. She told me I'd have to ask the doctor who prescribed it. But the doctor who prescribed it is an opthalmologist and he said I should consult with my gyn. Her response was that there are 500 drugs out there and they can't know everything about them. I asked her about anti-depressants I was taking and about their safety profile but that too she said I should discuss with the doctor who prescribed it.
    Finally, towards the end she was considering whether she should recommend genetic testing for cancer for me because my grandmother on my father's side had died of breast cancer. However, I told her that that wasn't really a priority right now. She said, yes, ok and quot;you have enough to worry about.and quot;
After I'd left the examination room, I realized that I forgot to ask about getting a test to ensure that my existing fallopian tube is not blocked because aside from being able to conceive I also want to make sure I don't have a repeat of the awful experience (ectopic pregnancy) I had two years ago.
The receptionist relayed my question to her and Dr. Frandina's response was that I should start with the ultrasound, but since I had that to worry about as well, she referred to a reproductive specialist.
Overall, I did not feel that she was thorough; I did not like her bedside manner but I'd be willing to overlook that if I didn't feel like I was just and quot;something to get out of the way.and quot; While I understand that she is not qualified to do the ultrasound, I don't understand why she didn't perform a pelvic exam.
I will certainly not be going back or recommending her.

He's an excellent doctor. He is very thorough and he listens. He has a very good bedside manner and he doesn't rush me. I like that they don't over schedule patient. I have never waited more than ten minutes. I will definitely continue to see him.

    North Shore OB/GYN
We used this service originally because they provided service in the evening. For a working person like myself, that was invaluable to be able to go to the doctor together. They are a team of doctors and they are all good. Even though out delivery was not high risk, they specialize in that too. The rotation of doctors are very good and it is a busy practice. Loved the front office staff which is usually not the case.

    Duke, Dr. William M
He came as a recommendation to me after my other doctor became too busy in his practice for me to feel comfortable there. Duke's staff is friendly enough, but I think they could have more patience when dealing with elderly or non-English speaking patients. Duke is an excellent doctor who subscribes to herbal treatment as well as a holistic approach in medicine. He has a great bed-side manner which is great. It can be hard to reach him on the telephone at times. I also would like him to call me back if he sees anything out of whack on my blood reports, but then again, he is pretty clear in telling you what you need to do as a patient to get back on track. I suppose I should follow those guidelines too.
