Shoddy work at best, over priced, unprofessional workers, who came back from.lunch daily literally stoned!! No one cared about the finished project, this was a simple job that turned worse by the day, until they were terminated and the contract voided, i was left with the task of hiring a new team, total project overrun due to poor workmanship cost 10's of thousands to redo. I would never hire.nor recommend this company again

Recently I noticed a strong gas smell comming from the meter area. I call the gas company and they sent a inspector to the house and found that when the new gas line was installed the union was left HAND TIGHT. This is just one more thing that shows the lack of professionalism, skill and concern for saftey that this company shows toward it's customers.

Where do I start with them, it took over a week longer than expected to get the a/c condenser in which was still damaged and had to be returned. Their pamplet says they use only factory-trained installers and service technicians. When they came out there was 1 experienced installer and 1 employee that was with them for less than 3 months. When they arrived they were friendly and courteous however the quality of their work was extremely lacking. They moved my water heater to make the install easier. This was fine until they ran the water line through a fluorescent light fixture so it could not even have a bulb installed. The water lines were not properly secured, rubbing against each other, the light fixture and the HVAC ductwork. The ductwork was installed so poorly that they had to return 4 times to fix air leaks. They did not properly install clips to hold it together and it was not sealed properly to prevent basement odor from entering the house. I seriously wonder if they even have a level in there truck. Not one section of duct work is level. There were so many code violations that needed correction it was sad. A brief list of code violations and poor quality work. 1. Electrical junction box wasn't accessible. 2. Gas line was rubbing agains the metal cabinet and did not have driplines. 3. Waterline ran through and against a light fixture, not properly secured and rubbing on ductwork. 4. Duct work had 4 junctions that were not taped or sealed, 2 corners had large gaps allowing basement odors into the house. The normal person that in not familiar with electrical and mechanical code should beware of using them. They did correct all of the things I caught when I pointed them out, however the things I pointed out should have NEVER happened. I seriously wonder how many more things that I didn't find. In hindsight I should have asked them to leave after the water heater incident.

    KEELER SERVICES
We hired Keeler's to service our boiler for our hot water heating system. We explained to them that we had not had the furnace serviced or anything in the ten years we have lived here. Keeler's came and cleaned out the burners. I don't have any complaint that they did that job adequately. The problem was that two days later we had carbon monoxide in our basement. The gas company found that the joint where the furnace pipe goes into the chimney was badly rusted and was allowing carbon monoxide to escape into the basement. We hired a chimney specialist to come and repair the chimney. The gas company came back and when the furnace was turned on, the carbon monoxide was even worse. They took a look at the furnace and found that the inside of the furnace had rusted through allowing the carbon monoxide to escape into the basement. We ended up having to replace the furnace.
I feel that Keelers, knowing the furnace hadn't been serviced in over ten years and knowing that the furnace was very old, should have checked it over better and should have seen the rusted chimney pipe and the hole inside the furnace. They were pretty obvious if you just looked. I don't know anything about boilers, that is why I hired someone to clean it. I guess I made the mistake of assuming that anyone coming to service a furnace would make sure that it would operate safely.
My other complaint is that when we called Keeler's to tell them there was a problem with the furnace after they cleaned it, they did not even return our phone calls.
We are very lucky that the gas company found the source of the carbon monoxide leak and we were able to have the chimney repaired and the furnace replaced. Otherwise this story might have had a very different ending.
I will add that my husband feels that Keeler's did what we asked them to and I should not have expected them to do a safety check. I still think the safety check should be part of servicing a furnace.
