    Affordable Solutions by Brian
She was very pleased with the result. They installed a new entry into the bathroom, replaced the fixtures, and repaired rotting wall. She said they were professional and very accommodating and it looks great.

Country Gentlemen Kitchen and Bath Remodeling, Inc
Everything went very well. Bill (owner) was patient and professional throughout the process, and I think he was there the whole time during the work. He took us to the tile store and the granite store and gave gentle advice that was very helpful. The only bad thing was we got our estimate in the summer but he couldn't start until December, but he told us this right up front.

    Nick's Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling
I purchased the deal on Angie's List. The work was well done and they were neat and clean. The deal allocated $80. for materials, but I bought my own, (tile and grout). They purchased a marble threshold strip for me, which probably cost about $30. Nick agreed to give me the difference towards my purchase of tile, and it hasn't happened yet, but perhaps he will send me a check. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work.

    Modern Home Contractors Inc
I highly recommend Modern Home Contractors and will absolutely hire them again. Vince was on time for every appointment, very patient with my million questions and extremely detail oriented. We had our kitchen completely gutted, took down a wall and reconfigured the whole kitchen/dining/living room into an amazing open concept. MHC did all the cabinet installation, glass tile backsplash, appliance removal and installation, installed flooring and did all the electrical, plumbing and drywall work. We couldn't be happier with the result. The guys showed up everyday on time and cleaned up each day when they were done. Unexpected things happen with construction. When these things came up Vince would call me, explain what was happening and how it impacted the schedule and budget. Vince and his crew were extremely professional and they stayed on schedule and were within the original budget Vince quoted the first time he came out. Most importantly, after the job was done I had an issue and Vince responded right away and came out to fix it. Extremely reliable. You should hire MHC!

    CNY Handyman Inc
It went great. The work occurred over 3 days. Workers gave advice and the described the work that they must do. They were very professional and friendly in all aspects. After each job was done, workers cleaned up.

    Case Supply Inc
Case offered a great selection of quartz materials.  We heard good things about Busch products and Cambria from neighbors who had used them.  After 2 trips to the Busch facility we selected a Cambria quartz material and selected our details (sink, edges, fixtures etc).  We scheduled a time for the template (measuring) and it was done expertly.  After about 4 weeks, they came to install and it went fine.  The countertops look great. Stephanie was my point of contact and did a great job.
Case only provides the countertop and they handle installation by Busch.  They do not remove or haul away the existing countertop, reinstall plumbing or appliances or do anything else like backsplash tiling.  Two other places were the same way.  I was only able to find one place that would do it all, and their total cost was about a third more than the combined cost from other places.  Case did provide a list of contractors who would do that other stuff.  I selected Bob Koch (Brasstacks) from the list.  See my review of his work (it's good).  WIth the help of a friend, I was able to remove the old counter top myself (not hard, just heavy).  I donated my old sink and bath vanity top to Habitat for Humanity's Restore. We got our new faucets fixture at Lowes.

    Brasstacks (Bob Koch)
Bob was great.  After one phone call, Bob came out to survey the kitchen and provide an estimate on the work.  He replaced some of the plumbing to make the new sink fit and update it.  He also installed a new tile backsplash behind the new counter top.  Bob was punctual, professional, personable and competent.  His price was in line with others I had contacted. Scheduling was important since we had to coordinate with the counter top install and Bob responded well.

    Modern Home Contractors Inc

First, the job was scheduled to take three to four days.  It ended up taking two and a half weeks.  Other than when the tub was being carried inside and set in place they only had a single person at my house working.

They were not very receptive to questions or suggestions.  They just wanted to perform the job their way inside of your house.  I pointed out inconsistencies with the manufacturers instructions for the tub installation.  I was told that the instructions were written by people that sit at a computer all day and that they knew better.  They drilled through the flange of the tub!  The wood floor trim was done in a poor quality manner.  I will end up having to hire someone else to come redo it.  The floor tile in the closet was done poorly.  Where tiles join there are hand cut edges versus using square and straight factory pieces.  In spots scraps were used instead of cutting a new piece from a new tile.  There were eight unique floor tiles.  There places where they installed three or four of the same tile adjacent to each other.  They became defensive when I pointed it out.  The tub wall has a blue paint smear that will not clean off.

    Nick's Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling

My husband and I are remodeling a townhouse.  The master bath was too big a project and we wanted someone who could see our vision and execute it.  Nick was the man.  We had interviewed other companies for tile, however, Nick came through with the flexibility to work us in between his other projects. Since we were under construction, the project could be done in sections over time.  This project included installing a mud mat shower floor with a linear drain and marble curb.  Nick's Kitchen and Bath Remodeling handled it all expertly.  The shower area was just studs.  This project also involved installing Durock on the walls, 10" X 14" wall tiles (cut and installed around a complex shower system) to the ceiling, shower niche, shelf and listello insert around the shower stall, installing a heat mat on the floor with carrara marble floor tiles and marble sills to transition to hardwoods. Nick also installed the 72" vanity and counter we had ordered.

The project spread over two months, however, that included our vacation and the installer's vacation.  We are very pleased with the work.

Russell was great from start to finish. We have an160 year old house, which makes everything a little more difficult. Russell was very creative and always listened to our requests.(for example we requested a pretty complicated marble tile design for a non-square room). Always left the worksite very clean. We are glad we contracted with R.V. Interiors and overjoyed with our new bathroom.
