    This office always has overbooked and has had a long wait. The difference from five years or so ago to now is that the staff is rude and the office is not what it used to be. Dr Hertz Sr. is wonderful but his staff is immature and rude. Recently my insurance changed to a deductible plan. I was rudely told by a staff member that they had a new policy that anyone with a deductible plan needed to leave $100 on file. I told her I did not want to do that. Two days later I received a letter stating that they would no longer treat me and that I should find a new physician. I have been going to Dr. Hertz for over 25 years and have never once not paid a bill. It is obvious the doctor did not dictate the letter as there were numerous typos and it was not his signature. Very sad that others seem to be dictating how the office is run instead of the man who started the practice.

    Awesome! I wish every doctor had the personality, knowledge, genuine care and positive attitude Dr. Hickey has. He's so smart and funny it made my visit very comfortable. He also has the memory of an elephant - doesn't forget a thing!

    He is very arrogant, very uncaring, his office didn't tell me that they didn't take my insurance and presented me with a huge bill then I had to go through a huge battle with my insurance company for three years then they finally settled for a reasonable amount. They should have told me upfront when I came in. He had done several surgeries for me and unfortunately the last one he was just very arrogant. He put me in for a surgery and they had me strapped at the table and waiting and he had the whole operating room waiting and he was seeing other patients because his time was important and he left me like that for 45 minutes before he finally got in there. With availability they were okay, getting back they were okay and the office staff was fine, it was just him.

    The initial appointment went fine, however I had to wait well over an hour for the Dr. to arrive.
    The doctor was very attentive, and informative and he suggested I have a chemically induced thallium stress test at his facility. I went back to the scheduling person and she scheduled the test. It was scheduled for three weeks from that date. The morning of the test I get a call from the scheduling department telling me that my insurance will not pay for it.
    I didn't understand how that could be, I proceeded to find out from my insurance company if I was covered for that procedure. I was told by my insurance company that I was and I had called back the scheduling department and told them of what my insurance company had said. So they rescheduled my test in approximately 2 weeks from that date. There was another date that was scheduled according to them and they said that I canceled it. Which never happened.
    The day before that test was to be done I get a call back from the scheduling department again only to tell me that my insurance will not pay for it in that facility. I had to go elsewhere to get the test done.
    I was very confused, how my insurance company said they will pay for the procedure and they will not allow me to have it done in their facility. I find out later that the Dr. does not accept my insurance.
    I find that that whole piece of that scheduling department was very unprofessional and uncaring to me the patient where they kept making appointments with me and then canceling. And then saying I actually made an appointment and I canceled it which I had not done so.
    The sad thing about this is before its takeover or joining the forces of LI J hospital services, I've had a few test done with them with my same insurance and there wasn't any problems. So I don't know if it's all about the Dr. or the facility or the joining forces of LI J. I even said to the scheduler that LI J takes all insurance, what could possibly be the problem. That's when she told me that the doctor did not take my insurance.
    However trigger long story short I moved on and no I will not go back to that facility again.

    Dr. Smouha specializes in the ear, nose and throat. The doctor is wonderful, and the staff is excellent. Every body is very friendly. I never wait any longer than 5 or 10 minutes when going in for an appointment. He really took care of the problem I was having.

    Excellent doctor, He did a bypass on my husbands leg and was very informative and professional from beginning to end. He was the only doctor that came out and spoke to us after my husband was in recovery. All other family's in the waiting area were given phone calls by there doctors. My husband recovered quickly and will be going back to Dr. Matano for his other leg. I would recommend him to anyone. A++++++.

    I called for an appointment early in the morning. I got an appointment that afternoon. I did have to wait about 15 minutes past my appointment. Fr Guida is very thorough. He went over my medications, gave me prescription for Zpac and told me to call if i needed anything else. I did call because i was still sick and needed a note to go back yo work a few days later. I called and he gave me a note for a later date. I have been going to see him for several years. He literally saved my life when he found a tumor on my kidney. I hD stGe 1 kidney cancer. Thankfully the tumor was removed and i am cancer free!!

    I have been a patient of Dr. Weiser's for many, many years and as far as I am concerned the man walks on water. He is a truly wonderful doctor, the best that I have ever known,(and I have known many due to my condition.) He knows the perfect balance between what a doctor should and should not do for their patients. He is great at communicating with his patients, and his office staff is also very helpful when they are needed. Overall, he is the perfect doctor.

    Dr Landy came to the house and did a great job of getting the nails cut and also pointing out some other issues.  He works quickly and brings everything that he needs to do the work.  He is not "warm and fuzzy" but he is pleasant, professional, and does a very good job.  His office must be good at billing because I have never see a bill from them.  I give him a check for the copay and that's the only transaction we have.  He has been here twice and I am getting ready to call him again.  I highly recommend him.  There are too few doctors who are willing to come to the house for the elderly who have mobility issues.
