    Alaimo, Dr. Darrick
Very nice man. Took his time with getting history and examining me and explaining what he found. My condition was outside his expertise but his report was necessary. Office staff are very nice but billing system is not up to date.

He is very intelligent, he seems to pick upon the problem. He found a synovial cyst on my back and other doctors had failed. So i give him credit, he didn't let me go like my physician which i feel like dumping.

I have been going to this doctor for 3 years because he specializes in this field for his artistic ability. He is a very careful listener and he takes his time. He is far superior and I would recommend him to other people who suffer in this area.

After being admitted through the hospital ED for a suspected stroke (at age 40), then being discharged with instructions to and quot;see your eye doctorand quot;, my primary care physician and I elected an alternate route. PCP put me in touch with Dr. David N. Smith, who has been among the most competent and knowledgeable doctors I have encountered. Dr. Smith and his staff systematically worked through my symptoms, did significant in-office testing, ordering outside tests, and generally put me and my family at ease with the systematic approach to determining what was going on, how severe it was, and what course of action to follow after a proper diagnosis. In today's world of 6-minute patient visits, Dr. Smith and his staff took the time necessary to listen, test for understanding, and review my entire medical history. Appointments were centered around my situation as a patient under their care, and not (at least outwardly to me) an overabundance of concern for watching the clock. Without being melodramatic, I owe my current quality of life to Dr. Smith's professionalism, knowledge, and expertise. Communications were always detailed and thoroughly documented, and through it all they maintained a patient centered point of view.

Dr. Smith is a wonderful doctor, but be prepared to wait. Bring a laptop and power supply or a good book as you will likely be waiting for 3-4 hours. He has aggressively treated MS in my family for years - thank God! His background in engineering serves his patients well. We will continue to see him for as long as he practices in our area.

The Doctor's office is very well appointed, more like a luxury hotel room than a waiting area. This is good, because it sometimes takes hours to be seen, and you will be spending hours waiting in the rooms. The price you pay in losing a day, however, is being examined and treated by Dr. Smith, who has several degrees including one in engineering displayed on his walls. He has invented some of the technologies that he uses, and is exceedingly thorough. I was examined, led to several different areas to have several different neurological and opthomological exams, and finally given a thorough diagnosis. My treatment has been quite effective. He is worth the time spent.

He is extremely caring, friendly, and knowledgable. He is worth waiting for hours for, because of how he helps you. The wait time is very long, and it will always be several hours. There is one girl at the front desk, and she is always welcoming and tries to help you. Once you see him, you know he is the only one to help you. He hass a great personality, and laughs with you. The wait makes sense once he walks in the door. When you're really hurting, he makes all the difference in the world. There is one girl at the front desk, and she is always welcoming and tries to help you.

I think he is nice, and thorough. He is quick to give your report back to your primary care. He is good. The staff is very methodical and thorough. They know what they are doing. There is a little wait to get an appointment unless it is urgent. The staff is friendly. I would use this doctor again.

She is very attentive. She is caring and she listens when I tell her my problems. Except for her office staff everything else was fine. I would use her again in the future.

Before going to him, a different doctor actually cut into my head to search for a reason. Dr. Smith said he never would have done that. He discovered that it was all from a lack of sleep and low iron. My mind and eyes will not rest. This was causing headaches. He has me on a medication that is now helping me sleep better. He is monitoring me very closely now with the medication. He is very good and extremely intelligent. He works very long hours and is in high demand, so there is always a long wait time when you go in to see him. But when it is your turn, he gives you as much time as you need. The office is very neat, clean, and there is even a snack area to purchase food. The office staff is very friendly and nice.
