    Brass Eye Center
Once it was determined that my eyes needed to have the slow growing cataracts removed, Dr. Brass and his team quickly set up all of the preoperative, operative and post operative appointments that would be required. My wife and I spoke to a counselor in Dr. Brass' office who answered all of our questions. In addition, I was provided with a packet of items that would prove helpful during the two separate surgeries needed and they had all of the prescription eye drops needed ordered at my local pharmacy for pick up that same day.. Although the thought of having surgery on my eyes was creepy, I found that these procedures were easier than having a filling done at the dentist. For both of my procedures, My wife and I arrived at the outpatient eye center and was on my way home in just a few hours. No pain! During the surgery I was in a 'light' anesthesia 'haze' and not specifically aware of what was occurring, although Dr. Brass spoke to me throughout.. This is a good thing! The procedure itself took all of 15 minutes and after a short stint in "Post Op" found that I could see better than I had in years. Dr. Brass and company were extremely helpful and reassuring. They took great care to put me at ease and made sure everything went as planned. I myself worked in the Health Care field for over 40 years and know how shoddy some practices can be. Dr. Brass and team were first rate and they use all of the latest technology. It isn't likely that I will have cataracts again, but I would definitely return to this Practice if I ever had any other issue with my eyes. The cost to have both eyes done was about $3,000 out of pocket which includes the facility, preoperative, postoperative and anesthesiology fees. But this will depend on your insurance and their deductible schedule. I rated the cost as "A", but it is what it is. I did some research of other local Ophthalmology practices in my area as provided to me by my insurance carrier and I did not see any considerable differences in the Gross costs. I initially went to Dr. Brass on a recommendation from my PCP. Glad I listened to her!

My eyes are much better since my 1st visit 6 months ago. I followed Dr. Sehgal's plan (medicine, tear drops, warm compress), my eyes feel much better. On my last visit he looked at my eyes closely and said they are looking much better. The tear ducts are not as plugged up as they were and my eyes are looking good (no pun intended). I should still use the basic tear drops thruout the day and a hot compress in the morning. The hot compress helps release the material that is plugging up the tear ducts and the drops will help the eye stay lubricated since my ducts are still partially blocked.

    Brass Eye Center
I have seen Dr. Brass several times since first experiencing extensive and quot;floatersand quot; and flashing lights in my right eye. He has checked me several times and sent me to a retinal specialist just to confirm the fact that there was no tear. He has always stressed that I am to contact his office immediately if any of these symptoms re- appear and that his staff is instructed to get me in for an exam ASAP. He is a Dr. who has shown a great deal of concern for his patients. He has a very good and quot;chairsideand quot; manor and a great sense of humor. His staff is polite, very accommodating and more important perform their jobs very well.

My old eye doctor's office took way too long, so I decided to find a new doctor. I really liked him. My family has used him for a long time. The office was very friendly.

    Kelly M. Primeau
I have double vision, and when I first met her when she was working at Target, she took as much time as was needed to evaluated my eyes. It was a very long visit, and many doctors would just shoo you out. I found Dr. Primeau to be thorough and compassionate. At one point, I had a problem, and she gave me a way to reach her personally, if there was an emergency. I would highly recommend Dr. Primeau. She gets all A's, all the way down!

Used a groupon to get computer glasses for work. My physician also wanted me to have an exam due to Lasik surgery about ten years ago. The eye doctor and assistant were very good. Great experience all the way around.
