    Feldman, Dr. Hal D.
My family and I have treated with many physicians in the Township of Huntington. Dr. Feldman is "exceptionally knowledgeable and talented" while maintaining a caring bedside manner. His outstanding reputation proceeds him. I have and will continue to refer friends, family and coworkers knowing I am providing them the opportunity to have exceptional care. Thank you Dr Feldman! Hospital for Special Surgery
Nursing staff and PA's were beyond excellent. Everyone was nice. The aids varied. Some aids were superior in work ethic and quality of care and some just ok - but none were bad. PT was good with exercises, walking and stairs, but I wasn't really ready to go home to get in and out of bed - PT didn't focus on that at all really and has been really problematical at home. The Education Seminar really didn't prepare enough for challenges of going home after surgery - so that the home could be prepared. As for after surgery it focused on exercises, socks, commodes, and reaching yes. Unfortunately Sleeping needs sitting and laying down needs not focused on enough, other than the purchase of a cushion and toilet seat. The idea of having the education seminar was great, just could help more with the 24 our issues of sleeping or sitting. Hospital was absolutely immaculate. One person was nicer than the next. Not a mean person among the hospital staff I encountered bed side. They did a great job with pain management, with the exception when nurses had to line up to get medicine disbursed, and when a nurse from another floor who was working my floor had to get permission from a superior who was not immediately available, to get meds - the meds were unnecessarily delayed and pain increased. Thee were many exceptional nurses, I'd like to give a shout out to Colleen and to Whitney who were beyond exceptional.

    Wayne Altman MD
If you go on Yelp, there are negative reviews, and it is not true, I have gone to this guy for years. I think people go in and whine a lot. It is not fair. There is nothing that I don't like about him. He took care of my kid when he was in football and broken in bits and pieces, and I needed to have a knee replacement. He doesn't have a good bedside manner, but he is a great doctor. Whenever I have wanted to see him, I have been able to see him within a week, or immediately for an emergency. The wait time is just 10 minutes of your appointed time.

    Torpey, Dr. Brian M.
Dr. Torpey was is terrific. After two years of suffering with extreme shoulder pain due to advanced arthritis, I visited three surgeons and finally decided on having Dr. Torpey perform the operation. The experience was unbelievable, the pain is all gone and ratined at least 90% of my range of motion. Will not hesitate to go back if and when my other shoulder gives me the same problem.

    Orthopedic Associates Long Is
dr. petraco is thorough, compassionate and knowledgeable. he periodically takes an x-ray of my most troublesome joint, my left knee, to make sure the shots aren't doing significant damage. he answers all my questions clearly and explains anything i don't understand. the practice's fees are surprisingly low. i've never had to wait more than about 15 minutes, and the staff is courteous.

    Summit Medical Group
I've been using Summit Medical Group for over a year now. They have all different kinds of doctors in their practice -- anything you need, from physical therapy to an endocrinologist. There's very short wait times in the waiting area. You get in and out. They're very straightforward and have a very professional staff. The doctors are top-notch and very knowledgeable. They don't just try to get you in and get you out. There's no rush. They talk their time to talk to you and try to explain things. All the doctors I've talked have been great. Everything is great there.

    Healthcare Associates In Medicine
It is an excellent place to go if you have an urgent need. It is an excellent resource. It is a new facility, and I don't think it is more than a year old. They were quick, they were prompt, and you are seen within a reasonable length of time.It is a little chaotic, because there are so many people being seen, but I was out with x-rays and everything within 2 hours.

    Jason Wong DO
Everyone who has gone to him just raves about him. He has a long waiting list, but I have been to him before, so if something is up, I tend to get something earlier, and just go on the cancellation list. He is very nice. He puts you at ease, and he is considered the best down here. He is calm, and where as some doctors just don't have the best bedside manners, he has has good bedside manner, but is professional. There was one time when things were running late, and I overheard him speaking to his nurses, and telling them that he needed time with his patient, and he couldn't have his waiting room full. He spends time with you, even with your pre-surgery. He goes over all the medical aspects. He prescribes physical therapy before the surgery, and I was feeling much better.

    Mallen, Dr. Jonathan
Both experiences went well. Dr. Mallen is professional, empathetic, extremely competant, and extraordinarily good natured. He was able to restore mobility and to reduce osteoarthritic pain to my mother. He was honest about the possible outcomes of the surgery and the nature of the rehabilitation work needed after both surgeries. Dr Mallen is part of the team at Orlin and Cohen and the rehabilitation work was completed within their facilities ( the physical therapy team was excellent as well)
