  • We researched their inventory online. Then we called and told them the cars we wanted to see. They said they had them in stock. When we got there it was like they never heard of us and the salesman didn't know much about the cars he showed us. We walked out.

  • They were good. It was a very pleasant experience. I had an issue when I traded in the other car. The company that held the loan kept hounding me months and months after. I had to keep going back to their manager to tell them to call off the dogs basically and it took several months to do. I have no complaints about that, they were very good and they made sure my vehicle was working well. Every time I take it there, they wash it. So I can't complain about that.

  • This is my fourth time hiring Progress. When they quote you a price, that is what you pay. They are not one of those contractors that keep raising the price as they go. They show up every day, working efficiently and quickly. The basement looks beautiful. They did a great job on this basement that used to look incredibly run-down and ugly. It looks like any other room in the house now, not like a basement. Also of note, they will give you suggestions to help you stick with your budget. I have 2-3 more projects left as I renovate my little old house, and I will continue to hire them. Very pleased.

  • We went to Platinum Auto mall to look at a Volkswagen Jetta. They advertised the car online for $9,900.00. After arriving on site we were told the price was $9,900.00 AFTER a $2,000.00 down payment was made, bringing the total cost of the car to $11,900.00 or $2,000.00 more than they advertised online. We finally agreed to pay $11,250.00 for the car and put down the $2,000.00 deposit, and made an appointment to pick the car up at 12:00PM the next day. We showed up at 12:00PM and waited over two hours for someone to see us. When they finally brought us in to sign the paper work they attempted to sneak an additional $3,000.00 charge in for an extended warranty that we did not request and did not want. When we told the finance manager that we were not purchasing the warranty he said "I can't sell you the car for the price we agreed to unless you buy the warranty because I won't make enough money on the car."

  • If you are not an informed buyer using all available resources then you won't know the difference in experience. I however purchased a 2014 MDX at another dealership after the manager at Rallye told me I was crazy; and that the web is not to be believed. Bottomline: it's all a game. I bought at my target price which was below all bottomline pricing from consumer reports / true car. Look beyond the mean or the average. Got my car at the price I wanted far and away from the "deals" Rallye was offering. Read up on edmunds know the games people play. Rallye has tried to move my trade in value after complimenting the car and doing the eval. I've purchased at Rallye in 2009, but am uncertain if they will get my business again. I love acura as a whole, but have had better experiences in both honesty and service outside of LI/Queens.

  • AVOID THIS DEALER - ONE OF THE WORST.  Went to look at a very low mileage 2005 VW Passat with clean CARFAX.  Drove 30 miles to dealer. First impression is that it was a poorly run used car "zoo". 
    Very difficult to find person we were supposed to meet.
    Finally went outside and called them to get person. 
    They of course tried to find out "what other cars" we might be interested in. When we insisted on seeing the car we came to see  - it was in back of lot with front bumper handing off, and large scratch across length of driver's side, was also told it needed a new turbo.  A manager told us they did not notify CARFAX of the damage!? Isn't that  Fraud!? Would have been nice if they told us before we drove down of the condition of the car. We walked out and you should not even walk or drive in!!

  • I had an incident where I left my rental car with them after picking up my new car. They said they would return my car to the rental company. A week later, the rental car company called and asked how I planned to pay the $1500 damage to the rental! To make a long story short, I had to pay the money to repair damages they caused b/c when you rent a car, you are responsible for all damages. Nissan did nothing for me. Even though there was no way to prove that Nissan caused the damages, they never returned my phone calls. I tried calling them for months. Their customer service was horrible, and I would never go there again.
