Live Well Individual and Family Counseling Service
As an attorney, I referred several clients to Live Well for therapy, court ordered screenings and evaluations for drug and alcohol abuse, and individual or family counseling services. Received many positive reports from clients regarding their experience at Live Well. I have no hesitation recommending this facility for treatment services.

    Geron, Dr. Marie
When we got there, she made us feel very comfortable. We never went to a psychologist before so she made it easy to tell our story to her. She asked great questions and got to the heart of our issues quickly. She gave us recommendations and guidance.

Madison Marriage and Family Therapy, PC
My husband and I had marriage counseling with one of the licensed MFT named Jennifer.  Jennifer has a very unbiased and real approach to couples counseling.  She is a completely neutral party, is inquisitive and asks the right questions.  She is not in the business of changing minds, but only to tell us what she sees, where certain behaviors we have probably came from, and  We went in for 3 sessions (will be going in for a final one) with our issues unresolved.  However, it is because we are talking to each other again in a safe way and are being honest with each other and prefer to go forward on this keeping it the two of us.  It is not due to any fault of Jennifer's.  In fact, whether she realizes it or not, helped bring some important issues to light and let us say a few things in a safe place that were heard well between both of us.  We will continue to work on the marriage and, if/as needed, will be calling on Jennifer for a session to check in if we need to. Jennifer also helps point out good and bad communication as discussions are had.  When we share a scary thought, she compliments on it.  Even though it might be hurtful to hear by the other party, she commends people on being able to be in touch with their feelings and for expressing them.  During very difficult situations, she gives credit where credit is due.

    Titus, Dr. John
He is a Christian counselor.  He also has another counseling service.  His wife is the receptionist there.  It is a family oriented business.  He is local.  He is very understanding, caring, and compassionate.  I would definitely use his service in the future.

    Allen Collins MD
He helped me through the passing of my beloved dad and is helping me cope with the care of my surviving mother. He is a really caring doctor and doesn't just push meds to make it go away. He points you in the direction to helping yourself and getting out of your situation. Again, without the waste of any money on talking about things from your early life that you can't change now. A much different kind of Psychiatry, than the usual shrink drill. My friend who referred me is one of many who he helped  and gave her no grief when she felt she no longer needed therapy. His door is always open to come back. He never tried to entrap her. Something much different than the typical shrink head games others play to keep you.

This therapist was superb. She helped me with a family member's addiction and it's impact on the rest of the family. She worked with me individually and I was wowed by her professionalism and knowledge. She was compassionate and skilled.

    Grasing, Donald
Donald is a Jungian analyst who offers psychotherapy from his office in Manhattan. He is also involved in teaching other analysts psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers. He is very professional and clearly cares about his patients. He is knowledgeable and supportive. His fees are reasonable for the New York area and he is willing to work with patients who need a sliding scale. Therapy with him is a very helpful experience and I recommend him highly to anyone looking for an empathic, experienced therapist.
