Dan was great to work with. He responded quickly to Angie's List messages, phone calls and texts alike. He gave me an estimate via text with photos of the locks and doors. I received an appointment quickly at a convenient time. He was great about communication, told me when he'd be on his way, and showed up on time. The job turned out to be a little tougher than expected but only ran about $15 more than the original estimate. He rekeyed every lock to accept the same key, and only had to replace one knob which was extremely old.
Very happy with his professionalism and service, would definitely use again. Thank you!!

ASUBURBAN LOCKThe appointment is scheduled quickly on the next day, early in the morning. I got phone call before the person arrived. We have three doors with the same deadbolt lock rekeyed, and another entrance rekeyed. For totally three sets of keys. The work is done very quickly and nicely.

AAdvanced Lock & KeyEverything about the two Dan's was courteous, professional and punctual. My daughter snapped the end of a key off in the deadbolt lock. When Dan Sr. took it out of the door (which took him literally two minutes, there was nothing in it). He found the remnant on the floor. He reinstalled the lock, sprayed it with lubricant, made my two copies and still charged me $66.00 and told me he was giving me deal? Perhaps I am being unreasonable, but I was hoping for a little better break in the price since he was there for a grand total of 10 minutes.
I know they have a business to run, blah, blah. I did not feel $66.00 was a reasonable fee for ten minutes work. I feel a little flexibility here would have gone further.

ASUBURBAN LOCKWe called for an appointment Monday, and were scheduled for the next day. We were quoted a price, including tax, and told what methods of payment were acceptable. When scheduling, we requested use of an online coupon for a free second key, and, while the scheduler wasn't familiar with it, they honored it all the same.
The representative came on time, and re-keyed the lock. Took no time at all, and was clean and efficient.

AAdvanced Lock & KeyI set the appointment up with Dan by phone. He was patient and helpful and I was able to get an appointment within a few days. Mark came at the appointed time. They called to let me know he was on his way, and he arrived right on time. He was friendly and competent. One door presented some complications, but he knew what to do and had the right equipment in the van. He took time to tell me about the quality of my locks (I just bought the house.) and to talk about simple lock and hinge maintenance. He took his shoes off while in the house and cleaned up after himself. I would definitely call them again and am confident that I'd get my money's worth.

It was nice to be able to go to the store where the different grades of locks were shown to us and explanations were clear and helpful. The installation was completed timely and in a very professional manner and so far we are very happy with the entire experience.
