    Absolute Hardwood Floors
My review BEWARE. Cashed the check, took the cash, will not refund money. Owner was rude, unprofessional and absolutely inappropriate. Come to find out from the town they arent even licensed to do any plumbing or electrical!! Job started out great as I recommend to a good friend. They installed 1600 sq hardwood PIF they left town several times during the job and I was easy going about it, they said theyd give me a great price on kitchen. I paid them. They knew I needed to finish to apply for a home equity loan. I had/ have no running water, tile, ventilation. They never finished up the flooring either. Owner was screaming at me on the phone that this was. My fault, they were starting the job I referred to them before they finished all the loose ends at my place that I couldnt even use my kitchen. Besides yelling at me there was other inappropriate behavior. Absolutely distasteful and unprofessional.

    Richardson Construction Group
My kitchen remodel was a disaster from the first day until the day I fired John 3 months later. The tear down was awful! I am attaching pictures as I can't do justice in my description. There was no clean up of the destruction for 4 days and only was it cleaned up when I called to complain that my eyes and hands were irritated from the insulation flying around the house. Mind you, my husband was home this entire time waiting for crew to show up and days went by with no shows. In the photos with the pink insulation, that sat in my living room from October 27 through at least November 5th. Oh yeah, in the tear down, they started ripping up my hardwood floor in the dining room. John offered to tile my dining room but that was just stupid...why would I want a tiled dining room. This then added a huge additional cost to me, because I had to now replace the hardwood in my 1st floor. He agreed to pay for the labor install until the final bill came and he changed his mind to something much less than the labor install. I could keep going on and on...however, I will attach some pictures and leave with this. My husband passed away at home on January 5th. The house is still unfinished. The expectation was, it would be complete around Thanksgiving. I fired John because of several reasons. The tile job, which you can see in photos, was the last straw. So many promises, so little progress. He came to my house to settle the final bill and tried to tell me I owed him $1300 more than the contracted final payment. When I showed him my cost summary that I had been keeping, he acted surprised. He not only didn't want to pay for the back splash tile that needed replacing (I payed for the original tile out of pocket), he didn't want to deduct the amount I was now going to pay someone else for finishing the job he started. I feel like he was taking advantage of the fact that I just buried my husband and would have my wits about me. Hire this company at your own risk! I have said my peace on Angie's List I am now contacting the BBB and will see if I can get some sort of justice for the most unprofessional, unethical and completely irritating contractor imaginable. P.S. I got 4 quotes before I chose John and Richardson Contracting. He was more expensive, but he sold us a song and a dance and I fell for it. Shame on me. Nancy Duke

    Kinetic Kitchens & Bath
When we chose Kinetic Kitchen to remodel our two bathrooms, we selected them for two reasons: Excellent quality workmanship in a reasonable time frame. Unfortunately, they did not meet either of those expectations. (Its ironic, because the Kinetic Kitchen designer told my husband and I that contracting with them is like a car dealership, which I interpreted as paying top dollar knowing the work is going to be excellent in the least disruptive way. Instead it feels like we went to the used car lot to buy a broken down Ford Escort for the cost of a Lexus.) This is what went wrong with our remodel: - The project was estimated to take 4-5 weeks. It took over 19 weeks. (Yep, over four months). - The grout was two different colors. They took out the grout and replaced it, and it was still two different colors. Third time, they used a coloring agent to make it all the same color. They blamed the manufacturer, but in my simple Google searches the first rule is to start with enough grout to do the job, which they didnt do. So hopefully this coloring agent they used will not fade in the next few years. - They have no idea how to put in a heated floor. They had no plan. They ordered cable for 70 square feet when they needed 30. When the 70 feet didnt fit, they doubled up the cable sporadically around the floor. The floor had extreme cold and hot spots. So after the whole bathroom was done, they had to take everything out, rip the floor up, and replace it all. One would have thought this time they would create a proper plan that would work. Nope! Their plan was just plain wrong. My husband ended up contacting the manufacturer for guidance and created the plan to map the cable. Kinetic Kitchen did not even know the spacing between the pillars and they proposed laying the heated wires under our vanity (which is against the manufacturers recommendations). Again, they truly had no idea how to install this. - There were lots of little things, which goes to my next point, they did not care about the details of the project. The lights were touching the wood of the mirror, the threshold was a big block of wood and not tapered to be even with the floor, the doors were not sanded enough, and the towel bars were not properly anchored. To their credit, when we pointed these things out, they fixed them to our satisfaction. But sometimes, it was not an easy conversation to convey what was wrong and to get them to agree to fix it. Why not just pay attention to the details the first time and do a good job? They just wanted to be done with the job. - When we requested to speak to the owner Vic about the problems, he refused to speak to us. (This is the same man who came to our house to determine feasibility of our remodel, who then proceeded to talk to us for 30+ minutes about his daughter going to a Canadian college cheaper than colleges in the US. Suddenly, he didnt have time to deal with us?) - FINALLY, I SAVE THE WORST FOR LAST. One of the Kinetic Kitchen employees flipped out and started screaming at my husband and I. Apparently he was upset about having to fix the floor and felt the best way to deal with it was to yell at the customer. Yep, with our children in the house, he yelled at us to LOOK HIM IN THE EYE and he had to EAT CROW by being here. His boss was standing right next to him as he yelled at us. After that, he continued to work in our house (can you say awkward?) and apologized three days later. We were at their mercy at that point and just wanted them to finish and leave. My words of advice if you are considering Kinetic Kitchen, JUST DONT. We are normal people, not overly demanding. We paid SO much money and just wanted the job done and done well. In the end they fixed everything, but the whole point of using Kinetic Kitchen was to have the project done right and within a reasonable time frame, at which they completely failed. If that doesnt convince you, the very unprofessional behavior of their employee yelling at the customer is a huge red flag.

    Hibbard Home Improvement
We had a master bath remodel completed by Hibbard Home Improvement. Dale provided several ideas during the estimate that greatly helped with the project. The turnaround time on the estimate was quick and they arrived to begin the project when they said they would. Jeff, one of Dale's employees, did the majority of the work and he was fantastic. He worked directly with my wife on every stage of the project. My wife had several changes and they were more than accommodating. The project was finished on time and the results were fantastic. We will use Dale, Jeff and Hibbard Home Improvement on all future home renovations.

    Canterwood Cabinets
Absolutely terrible - David Rohde the owner lack integrity and is very unprofessional. I ordered the product in May 2018; paid for the product in full June 4, 2018 and as of today August 15, 2018 have not received the product. Owner promised to refund my money $480 and he has failed on that promise. He refuses to return call or text messages. I would warn others that his business may be fraudulent. BUYER BEWARE!! Do not do business with this man!!!

    Perkins Home Improvement
My experience with Chris was fantastic. Very professional, work is thorough, and he did not cut any corners. Very easy to work with to get the job done exactly as the customer wants. Services included removal of a load bearing wall, new windows, door, electrical, cabinet install. I have recommended Chris and his team to many other people who have only had positive experiences as well. The job site was always left clean which is nice when you want to check out the progress and don't have to trip over tools and debris. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of work. You will not be disappointed if you choose Perkins Home Improvement for your next household project.

Chris and his team were extremely professional, punctual, and made sure every last detail was taken care of. We got several quotes before going with Perkins Home Improvement and they were all significantly higher. We will definitely be using Chris and his team again for future projects and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!

    ANA Construction Services Inc.
We paid $43,000 to Michael C. Santoro man personally who said he was a religious family man. Now after stealing our money and only gutting our house, not even cleaning up afterwards, we had to terminate him. Here we are a year and a half later and he and his wife Amelia aka Amy Santoro decide to file Chapter 13 bankruptcy to avoid refunding our money. What losers these people are in taking advantage of hard working people to mislead, lie and steal their money. We haven't given up on getting some of our money back. DO NOT EVER ASSOCIATE YOURSELVES WITH THESE PEOPLE. YOU WILL TRULY BE SORRY. CHECK OUT THEIR BBB REVIEW AND ALL OTHER REVIEWS LIKE GOOGLE, YELP, ETC. TO SEE FOR YOURSELF. Luckily we have hired a true professional who is now working on completing our home.

    Perkins Home Improvement
Work was prompt, professional and complete. As an added bonus they repaired some ceiling damage in rooms other than the bathroom that were not part of the original quote - but still kept the cost within the original quote figure.

    RUSSELL RENOVATIONS WNY INC.
Amazing experience! Tim and team delivered a comprehensive remodel of our kitchen and the results exceeded all expectations. My only hesitation in providing a five star plus review is I know it may bring additional customers - making our wait longer for all of the future projects we hope to work with the Russell team on! When working with Tim and Seth all of the frustration that is so familiar when working with other home contractors is eliminated. Following is a brief summary of our experience with Russell Renovations: - Timely return of e-mail, phone calls and estimate - every single time - On time arrival to do the work every day of the job - Put in extra hours required to meet the project due date - The highest level of regard and respect for the fact they are working in your home and lives are going on around them - Everything in perfect order at end of day, and zero impact/dust etc to the home area beyond the work project - Continual feedback loop and communication throughout a big remodel. Minor adjustments and requests mid project were accommodated in a highly professional manner Add to the above the highest quality craftsmanship and attention to detail - it made for a wonderful experience. Two more notes in wrapping up the review: - CREATIVITY - Tim took a previously ugly shelving area and transformed it into a gorgeous wine display with lighting - STAND BEHIND WORK - I am a little delayed in writing this review we had a minor issue with an item a few months after job was completed. Called to ask how to address the fix they were at our house the NEXT day for the fix I cannot say enough good things about our new kitchen, and strongly recommend Russell Renovations!
