    Williamsville Family Dentistry
I will freely admit that, when it comes to dentists, I am an absolute wimp. I've been to a number of dentists and have had some terrible experiences so when I came to Williamsville Family Dentistry, I wasn't sure what to expect. After my first visit, I now actually *enjoy* going to the dentist (which I never thought would happen.) The staff here is always upbeat and calming. They work hard to ensure that all of my dental care is taken care of and all of my questions are answered. They have gone above and beyond on multiple occasions to ensure that I'm getting the best and most comfortable care I've ever had. They're committed to doing things the right way; not just the popular way. I asked about dental implants and they let me know that they only do traditional implants because they've tended to find that they are more durable and last longer. This commitment to quality and patient care the right way extends to the way in which their office is run. You have the option electronically filling out all of the paperwork that's necessary for new patients online at your convenience rather than sitting in a waiting room filling out a ton of forms. They also have a service where they can text you if you're overdue for regular maintenance and an appointment opens up in the next couple days. Their waiting room also shows their commitment to patients by providing good Keurig coffee and a kids play area continue this tradition of patient-centered care. I've found that, since becoming a patient at Williamsville Family Dentistry, I've actually wanted to ensure that I keep up with my dental care (which I never in a million years thought I would ever do.) Both Dr Kevin and Monie have created a pleasant, efficient, and capable practice that keeps up with current dental procedures while maintaining a high level of integrity and honesty. If you're a "dental wimp" or have been putting off going to the dentist (like I did for a long time), I would strongly recommend that you make an appointment at Williamsville Family Dentistry as soon as you can. They accept Medicaid and won't judge you no matter how bad your teeth are. I'm sure you;ll be just as pleasantly surprised as I was at how much you'll actually like to go to the dentist.

    Douglas Hamill DDS
I've been very pleased with Dr. Hamill.  I've had multiple cavities filled and a handful of regular checkups.  He's usually on time and always very professional and polite.  I tend to ask a lot of questions and he seems pretty patient with my string of questions.  The waiting room is a little bit of a turn off (always loud reality TV on) but I've only had to wait an excessive amount of time once (in maybe 7-8 appointments).  Would highly recommend him.

    Dr Mark D Powalski DDS

After explaining to the reception staff my problem that I fell and landed on my jaw they said they would have to order some supplies and would call when they came in and in just a few days I received a call that they were in and I made an appointment to go in.

Dr. Powalski then examined me and quickly resolved the problem as usual. Trust me he is the best, I have had Pre Army Dentists, Army Dentists  post Army Dentists and then came upon Dr. Powalski and have been with him ever since.

I never knew that a visit to the dentist could be so pain-free, quick, and easy!  The staff there (esp. Courtenay!  She's the best!) is great and will alert you of cancellations when your making an appointment without you even asking!  They really want to run a good office, and they succeed with flying colors.
I have been to many bad dentists.  I have had, during numbing, dentists accidentally hit "zingers" (which are really nerves that dentists are taught, in dental school, to avoid!) so many times I can't even count.  I'll grunt in pain and they'll say "ooops!  Hit another zinger!"  Dear dentists, you are supposed to have the proficiency and skill to AVOID causing your patients unneccessary pain!
Dr. Bobs, all of their dentists/doctors, are LEAPS AND BOUNDS above the competition.  They will take their time with you, they are all very nice, and their novicaine injections are nearly pain-free!  I have never had a "zinger" from a mediocre dentist at Dr. Bobs.
This place is where I learned that there are good dentists in the world.  Seriously, go to this place, you'll understand.

All procedures were done with care. They,re not in a hurry, they always ask me if I need a break during the procedures. I hate going to the dentist, but this dental pratice is so good I don,t mind going.

The office staff was very friendly and worked well with both of my kids, one who is new to dental visits. My kids loved the movies and getting to pick from so many fluoride flavors. The staff was very calming and great with my kids; we'll be returning for their next check-up.

again I am strongly fearful of the creditability of this dental group. My daughter is now in a panic when I tell her that I am questioning the need for this dental work and suggest that she see a different dentist for a second opinion. This dental practice's methods sound a lot shady to me and concentrate on monetary gain above patient's well being and real medical need. Where was this dentist educated and who certified him? I would never use this dentist. He very much sounds like s bad dentist. Run away as fast as you can! Now I have the challenge of advising my daughter again and having her upset at me. I have to consider her safety and medical protection above all else. After researching this dental group, I was deeply disturbed. Reviews were in the majority negative and scores were multiple D's with patients suffering from the dental procedures performed by this group.

    Michael Lamastra DDS
They were very professional. He is very experienced. He's got like front staff and equipment. He keeps up with the fact with the changes in the practice and the improvements of the dental practice he administers. He is very, very good. It's very pleasant, very clean offices. You're not sitting waiting in an office. You get in there and within 5 or 10 minutes, you don't even get a chance to read an article in a magazine, you're called upon to have your evaluation or service provider.

. He took x-rays and because of condition of tooth he had to refer me to an oral surgeon.  He found another problem with a tooth that was impacted, with a crown.  He explained what he would have to do, once I had other tooth extracted.  I did have tooth extracted by surgeon. he referred and that went well.   I have not gone back yet to have work done on impacted tooth.
My only problem is that he really, really tried talking me out of sedation.  To the extent that I'm still thinking about this for when I have to go back for impacted tooth.

I've had very good experiences with him. We've used him about the last nine years. His staff is very professional. He's nice and we chat about things other than dentistry. He's very compassionate in making sure you don't suffer from too much pain. The staff is fantastic, from the business office to the assistants. It's a small office, but it's very efficient. You don't have to wait long. If you have an appointment, you're in the dentist chair within five minutes of your appointment.
