ARUSSELL RENOVATIONS WNY INC.Your Renovation is worth the wait!! My wife and I wanted to renovate our Ryan Homes builders grade bathroom so it was more than just a shower, soaking tub, and toilet. Tim had previously completed a kitchen renovation for my mother and father in law so we immediately knew we wanted him to work on our next project. Due to his high demand and COVID Tim was booking out for months, but we found if you want quality work and attention to detail you have to have a little patience. Once the work began Tim and his team were meticulous about the work area, putting up multiple layers of plastic to contain the dust and debris and then ensuring everything was vacuumed and wiped down at the end of the day. Communication was very open with him and he would discuss the day prior what his team would be working on, this included what time they would be onsite and what they may need for us to have prepared (material and color choices, etc.). Their typical day started at 8am and they worked consistently throughout the day, not ending until everything they had anticipated completing was done. This may mean 5:30pm or 7pm ensuring they stayed on the timeline they provided us, he was even opened to working on random Saturdays (within our schedule of course) to ensure there were no delays to our overall schedule. Every other day or so my wife and I would have a question about material finishing color selection etc. Tim would always listen and discuss collaboratively with us, without making us feel like we had no clue what we were talking about. Warping up the work Tim has always picked up the phone to answer any questions or address any concerns with vendors. The best example our vanity was ordered on Wayfair and came in damaged. Even after the job was done Tim came back to change out the door. It wasn't a huge job by any means but he wanted to make sure that it was done perfect. The amount of passion Tim has for his work is unmatched by any other contractor. Every inch of our renovation alludes a perfection that you will not find anywhere else and we look forward to using him and his team for future projects.- Brian F.

FCFM StoneHorrible. Worst customer service ever. Lost 4 days of work because they would schedule and cancel right before end of business. Drilled 1 hole instead of 2 for faucet. Backsplash was too thick & it took 6 weeks for them to cut down! Several defects in counter (stark white circle( that no one would address. ARUSSELL RENOVATIONS WNY INC.The experience with Tim and the family is world class and exceeded our expectations. The job was a huge job that entailed a full gut and custom update to a three floor home that had special requirements. It was a huge undertaking and was met with first rate service and professionalism. 95% of the home was redone, including subflooring for the first two floors. They reconfigured the house by making it more open and functional. New bar/gym and living area was created downstairs from scratch. There were many things that could have gone wrong in a project like this that fortunately was kept to a minimum. Don't be fooled that it's a small family business as Tim will state on the initial call as most larger contractors will overstaff jobs like these to make them more expensive but don't save on time and don't produce better results. They were pulling long hours and rarely took days off over the course of the four month project. To get the flooring done by a deadline we needed met they stayed until 3am and came back at 730am the next morning. Tim is honest and is very upfront about what to expect. We now have our dream home and couldn't be happier with Russell Renovations! You would be remised not to inquire about his services.- John F.

ARUSSELL RENOVATIONS WNY INC.Russell Renovations is the BEST contractor I have hired in 30-years. This statement should not be taken lightly as I manage multiple rental properties and have fully renovated three houses. This is a family owned business of two highly skilled craftsmen. They bring great ideas to the table, are very knowledgeable about what the current real estate market demands, and both are very efficient. Tim is a master wood worker. They keep you apprised of next steps and do not "job" hop. Your project is their focus whether it takes 1 month or, like in my case, 4 months. Their prices are very fair and they have outstanding connections with local vendors (carpet, flooring, cabinetry, etc.). They treat their clients like family! They can do it all and more efficiently than larger businesses! Stop looking for a contractor and hire Russell Renovations now! He had the patience to meet us at the supplier?s showrooms until we selected the right color and style combinations. Randy planned the schedule for the demolition and installation with our schedule in mind and was able to minimize our inconvenience of being without a kitchen. His workers were very neat and organized and kept the house as clean as possible during all phases of the remodeling. The look and feel of our remodeled kitchen is remarkable and the work quality exceeded our expectations. APro Kitchen RenovationThe installer, Bob Forringer, gutted the kitchen, repaired the walls for painting and installed the cabinets and molding all in four days. He came first thing in the morning and put in a full days work. On the fifth day the granite countertop installer came and measured for countertops. The countertops were installed two weeks later and Bob was back the next day to install the kitchen sink, faucet, drain and re-install our dishwasher. Randy also came by a couple of times during the week to help and to see how things were going. The entire process was stress free and fast. The kitchen looks great and we really were impressed with Bob and Randy's attention to detail. When the kitchen was finished, they both inspected to make sure every cabinet door was aligned properly and that everything was in proper working order. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Pro Kitchen Renovation. Both Randy and Bob were very professional and easy to work with. FDO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! You will be sorry. Mike was the worst person I could have hired to do my GC for my new build. In the beginning he was great. Really enjoyed meeting with him and talking about my project. He was your typical sales man, all talk and very lil if any actions. I would catch him multiple times lying to me and making up reasons why things were not getting done. He will over charge you way more than actual costs. He know the business and even better knows how to manipulate people into thinking he will over see the project. I hired him because I was assured he would be there everyday and make sure everything was done correctly. He never showed up and would never get back to you when there was a problem . Worst mistake I ever made contacting him. I would never recommend him to anyone. Your local paper boy would do a better job being your GC. I could write a book on the amount of problems I had with him.

DWhen the young man was working on the shower handle, he told me he was unable to remove it. I suggested that if I get a saw, would that help. He said yes but then I told him to leave it. He never informed me he had damaged. He then Proceeded to tape over the handle and plate behind it. He did explain he was unable to get it off because he tried. By him trying to remove it, it caused the damage. I come back that night and two things were not correct. One is the handle is not correct along with it damaged, and i was never informed. Two, I had to install the shower head. If he would of not touched the handle and just tapped over it originally, we would not be talking about this. I am upset about this because my shower was working properly PRIOR to this. I am not satisfied and am very unhappy that I was left with a broken handle and plumbing. I hired a plumber. I attempted to get the company to pay for the costs of repairing it but the said IT WAS OLD and they refused to take responsibility for the damage.

CThe online reviews and the sales pitch were outstanding. When it came to actually doing the work, the biggest failure was the lack of communication between the design department and the project manager and the onsite carpenter. I ended up paying a lot of money and not being satisfied with the end product. The project manager blew me off and minimized my concerns and then claimed he didn't. My husband is still replacing (2 months later) baseboard and door and window casing that they were going to charge us $90/hour to refit and replace. They also installed a washer and dryer and didn't take out the shipping struts. Luckily my husband guessed that they didn't do it, so our expensive washer was not ruined. I have to pay to have the shower floor replaced, but I can't afford to do it at the moment. They claim it's the materials I chose, but I think it's the way it was installed. I dread getting into my shower now... I reached out to them to detail my experience and they said they were sorry, but didn't take any responsibility, and they didn't offer to fix it. Oh well.
