    Adams Heating & Cooling Inc
Adams was one of five installers who we asked for A/C solution designs and quotes. Their quote was lowest and their design was the best; they offered a distribution box for the A/C lines in the attic so that the lines wouldn't show snaking around the exterior of the house. Another installer hadn't heard of this option and wasn't willing to pursue it. Another installer we turned down agreed with our choice to use Adams due to his perspective of the company and their work. Everyone who came to our house came on time. They listened to our input, answered our questions and worked in all conditions (even in our hot attic) to get the job done. The installers (Eli and Chris) were knowledgeable, polite, and professional. They went above and beyond by taking our exterior paint and painting the tips of the drain lines and were able to creatively snake an electrical line across our garage above the sheet rock (how did they do it?!) to hide it. A few changes needed to be made along the way and they always would ask for our buy-in before proceeding. Once the job was completed, they went through and reviewed the entire setup to make sure we understood its operation. We literally couldn't have asked for a better job. They exceeded our expectations and we'll recommend them to others.

    Wilson Bros Heating Cooling Plumbing
I have called on Wilson Bros in the past to install a ductless AC/heat pump upstairs and do other plumbing repairs and upgrades. I have always been very pleased with their responsiveness, skill and meticulous attention to important details. This experience continued their history of doing very satisfactory work. Tom and Chris brought all the necessary materials, including a "pad" to set the outside unit on and gravel to level it. They did the interior and exterior installations and the electrical work in about 5 hours and before they left, they made sure the unit was working properly to my satisfaction. They cleaned up carefully before they left. This is a good company to deal with.

I have been using them for 30 years. We have a service contract with them. I would give them an "A" now. They went through a little bit of a company change. We have known them for so long I could almost tell you the history of their company. For awhile there, they went through a change and they were really falling apart. I didn't thing they were gonna last and somehow they got their act back together and they are much better now. So, I would have to say I am satisfied now. I was about ready to drop them. They don't understand how important customer service is. If you don't please your customers, it does not matter how good you are. You're just not going to get the business and what was happening was the technicians were good but you couldn't get an appointment, when you called someone up they were rude. The whole thing. They have totally cleaned up their act. They are really professional now.
I think it is a fair price. It is competitive. The technician is fabulous that we have and he is very professional. Their responsiveness is a "B" because sometimes they're hard to get, sometimes they are busy, sometimes they over book, and you know again, it's all about customer service. Their punctuality is very good once they tell you they are coming.
They have always done a good job once I could get them here. Sometimes it was hard to get them to come in a timely manor but they have improved dramatically. They seem to be much better now.

    Veritas Heating and Cooling

We used Veritas to install our entire HVAC system in a new construction modular home.  As construction finished in November, we chose to delay the physical installation of the central air units until spring, however, as soon as we had a pad site set up, Veritas was able to schedule an appointment in less than a week to perform the install.  The installation of the central air units (2 units) took less than an afternoon and Adam of Vertias couldn't have been more professional or courteous.  In November, when Veritas installed the heating, ductwork, main propane line, etc., I received positive comments for the other contractors about how easy to work with they were.  Also, Veritas made sure that the little things like the air intake and exhaust for the furnaces closely matched the house color and were a slim line design that didn't look like a sore spot on the side of the house.

There have been no issues with any of the work, not even minor complaints, and all of the equipment they used is quality.  I will be more than happy to use Veritas again if I have any issues.

Purl's Sheet Metal & Air Conditioning
They did it fine. The only problem was that there was a leak. When the warm weather hit, it leaked. They came out right away and apologized and fixed everything. It’s working fine now. They gave me a good price on the unit.

    Enhanced Living
The first winter the bolier could not keep up with the heat requirements, thus he had to install a larger bolier, major issue.
The first winter the Hot water coil in the upstairs unico froze up. He neglected to add Anti-freeze to the system.
The first summer the AC system up stairs could not keep up with the cooling requirements, he miscalculated the unit size, he had to replace the entire air handler; and condenser unit. Major issue.
Numerous leaks is the system air infiltration.
Plumbing manifold was built wrong.. Had to rebuild, now looks terrible.
The UNICO modules were not installed in the correct order; the heating coli is between the AC evaporator coil , thus nothing but a sweating heating coil all summer long.
So.. Today 13 years later I had an estimate done to rip out the old upstairs AC/ heat unit, redo all the duct work and make it work they ways it is suppose to.
When the owner of the new company asked who did the install told him Ed Bishop. His response enough said.
Ed is a nice guy , but work is shoddy; and he lacks the knowledge to perform adequate heat calculations., As I have seen first hand. There are many other capable / knowledgeable contractors in the area, that have the resources to perform the job correctly.
I stand by my statements; you are welcome to contact me directly.

    Adams Heating & Cooling Inc
The men who removed and replaced the hot water heater and furnace were very professional, clean, picked up after themselves and kept us informed as to how things were going.  After the job was completed they gave us complete instructions about everything and went over all that they had done.  We were very satisfied.  We will definitely call Adams again.

    Wilson Bros Heating Cooling Plumbing
I know our system is terrible but he made me very uncomfortable like everything was going to blow up any second. I could look past that but after the inspection, we never heard from them again. He was supposed to email the quote and proposal to us. I called a week later and they said that they would get to us within four days and there was still nothing. A professional would have called back. Even if they are understaffed, it doesn't matter, they should have called back.
