    They were to paint walls, woodwork, they were to remove wall paper, that was it. The people they sent out - first of all, the owner did the initial - he came out the first time. And then the people he sent out, one man had worked for him - it was a relative and he had worked for them for three or four years. The other person that came with them had been with them five days and had no prior painting experience. As I mentioned earlier, they had to remove wallpaper; the kid didn't have a clue how to remove wallpaper. He had never even seen a wallpaper steamer before, and they turned him loose. And he gouged the walls, did a very poor job and it was not impressive at all. They seemed to be under a time constraint that the job had to be finished in a day and a half. That's probably because they may feel that they had priced it too low. They stretched it, they came originally, they were right down on Wednesday and they worked Wednesday, they worked Thursday, and the lead man - they guy who had been with him three or four years - had vacation plans for Friday. He was leaving to go to a resort in Massachussets and so they worked until one o'clock on Friday. What they did was they just slapped paint around and it was terrible. We were never asked were we satisfied or anything like that, they just couldn't get out of here fast enough. And they ran out of paint. There was one particular paint for the walls in the hallway and they ran out of it. I mean, he was doing everything he could to stretch that paint. And it was just a terrible experience. So I tried repeatedly to get a hold of the owner. In the process of trying to get a hold of the owner, he would not return my phone calls. Eventually, I sent a certified letter, he would not accept the certified letter. The certified letter was returned to me after three weeks. The United States Postal Service had tried to deliver it three times and had left notices on two occasions and no one cared. And I finally, because I sent them an email and told them that I was going to turn it over to an attorney, he finally decided to call me back. And he came out here - it's just it stank. He came out, took a look at what was done and he closed his eyes and let out a giant sigh and he brought another gallon of paint with him and he would dare - it took about five weeks to get them back here. In other words, the two men came out and I could make no contact with them on phone. And it took a certified letter. Finally, the owner did come out, all he had to do was look at the place. My sons had told me they'd get him to small claims court the day after. It was terrible. So finally, the owner showed up, he did make some good improvements, but where they had turned this guy loose to take the wallpaper off the walls - if you came out here, I can show you the gouges in the walls - it's not perfect and we had another 3500 dollars that they had quoted and I couldn't possibly let them back in here to do it. This place is disgusting. He cleaned it up, he's got it looking decent, but before I could put this house on the market, I would have to go through and do more work. And he kept telling my wife and myself, "I can't believe that we left this like this, this is terrible." There's actually parts that they cannot fix.

    Initially, when I first called them - Jeff came out within a couple of days to see what work was needed and to provide an estimate. He returned my first call on the same day (something most contractors seem to be unable to do).  A date was set to do the work a few days after I received the estimate and again spoke with Jeff. On the day work started, Jeff and his crew arrived in a timely manner in a professional looking truck with the appropriate equipment needed to complete the job.
    His crew were hard workers - priding themselves in professionalism and complete cleanup when the work was finished.
    Jeff is good about answering emails and telephone calls.

    ILet me start off by saying that I have hired Ed in the past for several problems without any major issues.  I needed a simple 12x16 pool deck built and even provided Ed with the building plan and supply list purchased online.
    The project started off well but things started going downhill.  Ed made changes to the building plan and showed me after he had completed them.  I am not in the construction field so I assumed he knew what he was talking about.  I started noticing some issues with the deck (not plum) poor cuts on the boards, boards not all nailed down uniformly. Deck was rubbing up against the pool leaving no space to put winter cover on and things were not built to code.
     I had contacted him several times via phone when he stopped showing up on the job site for a week after I wrote him an additional check.  When he finally showed up to get his van I attempted to review the problems and obtain receipts for the supplies because things were not adding up.  He became very argumentative with me and insulted my friend.  He was VERY unprofessional and disrespectful. 
    I let Ed borrow tools to complete the job which should have been a red flag at that point.  I even gave him a ride to his shop to pick up his tool van.  IHe even sat on my childrens swing and broke it and did not have the decency to tell me.  My children saw it from the window and started crying.
    The day of the confrontation, I called him and left a message that I know longer wanted him to complete the project and that he should return my husband's router, buy new rope for my children's swing, and reimburse me for labor that was not completed.  I did not receive any phone call back and went to the police on Saturday.  Later that day he left a message telling me that it was a good thing that he was the one on the swing when it broke and that he returned the router.  This meant that he entered my house without me knowing.
     He took no responsibly for anything and continued to be disrespectful and unprofessional.
    He should be ashamed of himself for the poor craftsmanship and unprofessional behavior.  I could keep going but I think you can get the point.

    Recommendation avoid working with the son of the owner if you are intent on acquiring your countertop from them. Promises with no intent to meet them. Remember renovation projects are challenging enough without these types of unnecessary hassles especially when other reputable dealers around.

    Very slick website, so it looked good.  Called this company at least 10 times over the course of 2 months before they actually agreed to come and give an estimate on our job, which was to assess the feasibility of re-doing the main staircase in our home, either by capping the existing stair treds or possibly replacing the entire staircase. When he finally showed up, the owner was pleasant enough, but kept trying to talk us into replacing the entire staircase, a prospect that did not appeal to us. He took measurements and said he would send email an estimate for both options. Never heard from him again. I would not recommend this contractor just on the basis of his lack of responsiveness.

    I had purchased a mattress and box spring three and a half months ago.  The box spring developed a rip underneath and the support bar that went across the bottom of the box spring got shaved off by the cross bar on the bed frame.  I called them to come and look at it, replace it or refund my money.  I was told to come into the store and pick out a new set.  When I went into the store I had to speak with the sales person that sold it to me.  We took pictures of the damage and showed it to her, when she saw the pictures she started to suggest that there was a defect in the way the bed frame was constructed.  She said she would have to check with her superiors to see for a refund or a replacement.  She brought some gentlemen over and they looked at the computer to determine how much we paid for it.  Then she brought the store manager over who told me they would have to have an investigator come, take pictures, submit those and that report will go back to the head office.  They said we would hear from them about their decision whether to refund the money or not.  We were told not to worry about it because it sounded like a valid complain and they certainly would scam by on their merchandise.  They said it would be replaced without any problem.  At the time we were in the store we were shown a sample of a box spring with a metal cross bar and when we reordered the box spring I asked for the same box spring with the metal cross bar.  We received three deliveries after that and each one had wood cross across the bottom and no metal cross bars.  I went back and forth numerous times, made numerous calls and had all sorts of lies told to me about the fact that it was replaced.  They also told me that it was no longer available and that it is not as good as it looks.  We should have never been shown that model because it had been removed from stock many months ago.  The one we had was strong enough, we had words like substitute, replacement, out of stock, unavailable and so on but they never came the box spring mental we had requested.  The last deliver they came and dropped the box spring off.  I was guaranteed that they will be bring me the right one but they came they dropped it on the ground on the driveway.  When we brought to my door it was not the right one so I sent it back and when they left piece of wood from the frame had fallen onto my deck.  After they left we had another conversation and later on they assured me that they would replace it with a strong box spring and that it will not have the mental bar because it was no longer available.  At that point they had warned me down so far and I've gone back and forth so many times but they changed their story up, down and sideways.  They told me one thing and when the manager or the sales person would call me they would tell me something different.  I never got straight answers or a reasonable explanation for anything.  The windup is they are delivering a box spring and its not the one we were shown in the store but I'm just worn down with this whole scenario.  I'm sure to taking them to court with a lawyer where they would clearly get away with their story because they are offering to replace the box spring.  That's the logic, reasoning and the way that they would get around the whole suite.  So we are just going to take the one they are sending me and that's going to be the end of it but as far as dealing with them in the future, I will never a foot into their store again and certainly will tell everyone I know about the experience I had with them.  My biggest argument with them was the sales manager himself stood right in front of me and lied about the investigation.  He all along tried to imply that the bed frame was the problem.  I told him that the frame was the same one we have had for fifty four years.  The last box spring was taken out after twelve years of using it but there was not a rip, tear or a stain on it.  It was placed on the same bed frame that this one was on so after three months use I just didn't see that this was not what I should be expecting from merchandise.

    I wanted to update the color in my kitchen. The drywall taping that was done by another company failed so Gegg Painting and Decorating helped my husband to fix it. Then he chose the color for the kitchen but it wasn't just right but he went back to the store to get it just right. He did a good job and cutting in around the cabinets, trim without getting paint on it. The ceiling looks fresh and bright. The new color in the kitchen makes it look so much more sophisticated.
