    Psychic Readings by Rose
She was Amazing. We had a Psychic reading party and everyone had a great time and gained so much insight from the readings. Rose is simply the best we will have another one soon was so much fun and learned so much about what our future holds for us. Her insight has already unfolded just as she stated it would! Amazing i would highly recommend her.

Julie DJ'ed at our daughters first birthday party. She was wonderful-engaging the children, getting them to sing karaoke, and dance. You could tell she put pride and a lot of effort into preparing-I mean what DJ would have children's music readily available? She did such a great job we happily recommend her to others and she has since done at least one of our friends weddings. We will never hire another DJ :-)

    Faces by Ferdinand
Overall you can't beat her. I have known Sue for a couple of years now. She's the tops. Another group from the State of New Jersey loved her for the job she did at their party. The most recent service was almost like a birthday level thing. The big thing was when she did the state it was in July. It took a lot of patience and there were kids waiting in lines to get their faces done. At the end of it you go through a summary with the head of the park and he said you should of just had Sue because the boats and the fishing and all that, she said everyone is into smart phones now. I agreed. I said that is the way of the world, I guess. She is very accommodating and what I liked about her in my particular experience was it was going to be really long hours so she brought a helper -- I think it might have been a relative, I don't know -- just to make sure everything was covered properly. She is in the newspaper, I don't know if you saw that on NJ.com and you can see some of her work at the event, it was very nice. Regarding her pricing someone told me to expect $400 for the day and she came in under that. The quality is legendary. If you go to Lake George which is where I am now and she is from, they have her work displayed on web sites all over there. She is a true professional. She was there before me. I called her a few days ago and she said she definitely would be interested.

    Ej The DJ Sound Inc
When I first met "EJ the DJ" it was at a wedding show that was held locally in which "EJ" himself was there. He showed me a list of pricing and when I told him that was not affordable for me he gave me a price that was on the high end of my budget. But he was excitable and said that he thought my wedding would be fun and would like for him personally to DJ my wedding. Right than, I decided I wanted him to do the DJ'ing bc he promised to be the one to DJ and I thought he was a very personable guy and his experience would be great. When he gave me all the paperwork I needed to fill out, he had me write on the very top of the contract that I was requesting EJ the DJ himself to DJ at my wedding. After I finished filling out the contract and submitting all the pages upon pages paperwork that they require, I sent it in. When I received my signed contract back signed by EJ himself, with the "I am requesting EJ the DJ to DJ at my wedding" I figured we were all set. I had been in contact with EJ himself. Even a few days before my wedding, EJ called me several times and we finalized on our mother/son, father/daughter dance songs, and my wedding was only a few days away. I never spoke with anyone other than EJ himself. EJ even agreed that he would throw in an extra hour of DJ'ing for free because he was excited to do this for us. And that he wouldn't charge us for the travel from Erie to Olean, ny where our wedding was. When I arrived at the reception, as soon as I stepped out of the limousine, I was greeted by a woman who was wearing a tuxedo and messy hair with no make-up. She introduced herself to me and I said, "I'm sorry, who are you"? And she said I'm "____" and I'll be DJ'ing your wedding! I was DEVASTATED!!! I kept my mouth closed but I ran to my mother hysterical bc EJ never showed!!! Ok, so I calmed myself down and said if handle it later. So putting they behind me, I started my reception and things were seeming to go pretty decent (the music genre was NOT what we asked for) but we had forced ourselves to have fun. Not too long in to the reception, I noticed a man walking around with a camera (who was actually following around my hired and contracted photographer) I began to get irritated bc I felt like he was in the way of my photographer. So, I walked up to him and said, I'm sorry, I don't think we've been introduced... Who are you? He said his name and I said ok, and why are you here? He said he was the DJ's husband and he comes along with his wife and takes pictures of the reception and it could be purchased. I adamantly let him know that I had a hired wonderful photographer who was already handling the pictures. Which at that point he retracted his previous statement and said he just takes pictures and loads them on a disk with music and sends them to us. The equipment they brought with them was rented as I have a relative who is in the music industry and knew who the equipment was being rented from (a good friend of my relatives actually!) So after 4 hours of the reception, the DJ made an announcement that they would be playing 1 or 2 more songs for the night. I was DEVASTATED AGAIN! This time, I took it upon myself to run up to her and explain (in tears) that no offense to her but she was not going to leave! That she was not the DJ I hired, EJ Wwas supposed to be there! That he promised an extra hour free of charge and that she was rude enough to bring along her husband whose dinner I even had to pay for. She was very embarrassed and apologetic and I felt awful for having to explain that she wasn't going to do this to me. She agreed to stay the hour at no charge and I could tell she was humiliated. I can assure you I was no bride beast. I was just completely confused and down right disgusted with the fact that the DJ I hired (which was the only reason that I even agreed to hire them) didn't show! So, after the reception I apologized to the DJ who did DJ the reception for being so emotional and tag ur was not her fault, but ther I was just mortified that EJ didn't show, nor did he tell her that he agreed to do an extra hour of DJ'ing for free or that he was even supposed to be the DJ to be at my wedding! I felt awful for the DJ who knew nothing. She didn't mean to upset me and I hold no blame to her whatsoever. After I returned from my honeymoon, I tried calling EJ the DJ's office and the first time u called I asked to speak with EJ. Which every time before the wedding he was more than willing to talk to me. The guy put me on hold and ended up hanging up on me. And since that phone call, they NEVER answered or returned any of my phone calls or emails to just talk to md about what happened. All I wanted was an apology. Or for him to admit that he made a mistake. Still to this day, I just want my money back even though the services were partially delivered, I have to this day the contract that EJ the DJ signed himself with the request that he DJ my wedding as he instructed me to write bc he claimed he wanted to be at my wedding. I cannot believe after all the call and attempts to contact him for months I tried calling either daily and than left messages which were not rude at all. I just would never want anyone to experience what I did bc to this day I am so devastated by what happened. I still would love for him to just refund me my money for breaking our contract but he's apparently not going to even aplogize. I'm sac to give them this terrible of a review but I feel like I was scammed and don't understand how he claims to have been in business as long as he had bc I've heard terrible things since telling others of my awful experience. I am typically not one to complain but this was my wedding and I cried my eyes out yo the poor DJ that did show up and she was so uncomfortable that she was out in that situation. I wouldn't doubt if that was that was the last time she DJ'd for him. The couple that did show ended up sending me a card and letter with a DVD of all the pictures her husband took and they said how very sorry they were about what happened and that we hoped we enjoyed our DVD of pictures. At least that woman and her husband had a heart.

    Showtime Skating
We scheduled a child's birthday party there recently. Upon arriving, we were treated like second class citizens. We brought a healthy option to cake, nachos and pizza for adults attending the party and for a child with food allergies, only to be snapped at by the female at the front desk. We returned that snack to the car. We provided a list of probable attendees to the same woman, telling her a few may show unexpectedly due to the holiday. Those who were not on the list were treated like criminals, as if they were trying to sneak in. We were berated for allegedly trying to sneak people in that didn't pay, such as two 50-60 year old couples hoping to celebrate a child's birthday. We had ordered pizzas at the rate of $11.99 each and the pizzas we received were cold $5.00 Little Caesar's pizzas. Expecting drinks for the kids we purchased a 2 liter bottle of lemonade for almost three dollars and were told they do not supply cups. We went to Kinney's and purchased cups and forks, which were also not provided. The birthday package that was supposed to include games and such is certainly a disappointment. The owners of this business, particularly the female, need to wake up and realize that all people using their services are not trying to cheat them or steal from them. We are a middle-class working family and have lived in the north country for years. We have many friends and they all now know to avoid this business.

    VELOCITY
They had an arcade that was filled with out of date machines. Nothing impressive or even remotely fun to play. The laser tag that they have is the one where you must use both hands on one gun to fire it. Most of the time my gun would not fire. The same for my friend as well. Nothing about my experience was positive. Please do not waste your time.
