    BLUE CROSS & BLUE SHIELD
I have Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance through my employer (SAIC). They are a great insurance company. Their website is very useful with lots of tools and not they have a network of doctors you can contact at any time with questions or concerns.

I cant say enough good things about this dental plan. They cover everything. (Braces for adults, whitenings, etc...) They charge $19.95 a month. Their website is www.*****.com/ckk. They have far more benefits than just the dental. The coverage that they have is unbelievable.

The insurance provider usually does well and covers the medical expenses as listed by my company. We are satisfied with the coverage.

Depending on whom you talk to they are very knowledgeable and they respond to your questions and your problems right on the spot. There are some people there who I don't think are brand new yet they don't know as much as others. Their pricing is average and they are pretty responsive.

    United Health Care
My husband & I both were eligible for Medicare in 2013.  Both appointments for sign up went well.  My one concern was with United Healthcare's prescription plan.  I have had to remove one prescription and find an alternative because the quarterly refill cost was $275 under this plan versus $150 on my old plan.  The co-pays are more but what I am paying out each month went from a COBRA cost of $541/mo. to Medicare cost of $106 I believe and that comes out of my Social Security check directly.  Overall can't complain. This will be the first full year on the program so will know better by end of year how well the United Healthcare Plan works for us.

    United Health Care
Generally, United Health Care is a decent insurance company, but their billing statements are very difficult to understand. When we've called to ask about it, the representatives are not very helpful in clarifying things. A few days ago, one of my providers contacted me to say that United Health Care was denying my claim because they said I had another insurance which was primary. I no longer have that insurance, so I called United right away. I spoke with a representative and then a claims adjuster who were both very helpful and they fixed the problem right away.

Negotating their phone tree is very difficult. When I try to get in touch with a real person, it usually takes 15-20 minutes, and multiple attmepts to get through to them. Usually they can help me, but occasionally I am passed from one area to another. I am usually frustrated when I complete my phone call wiht them. My insurance coverage itself is fairly goosd. I do not need a referral for miost specialists, but I have a high copay, which gets very expenseive for multiple visits, such as PT. Other than the high specialist copay, and contact via telephone, I ma fairly happy with them.

    FIDELIS CARE NEW YORK
It is difficult ot deal with this company unless you are happy with only doing this on line. We are covered and I am glad about that. $500/month for people who are not given health insurance as a benefit is not a good deal. We only have it in case of major health issues. I hope we don't run into that problem.
