    Basement Systems Of New York
Excellent prompt and quick work which has added double the usable  space to our home as our lower living area(family room, bedroom, large bathroom etc) is now totally dry with much lower humidity levels. Highly recommended.

    Earley Contracting
EXCEPTIONAL. This was a huge task. Not only did a new foundation have to be dug, the corner of the house with the damage was covered in brick. Mark's crew removed the brick, replaced the damaged house behind it, dug and installed a new foundation, cleaned off the brick and reinstalled it. This room has 6 sliding glass doors and two man doors square off, as well. Unlike some contractors, his crew arrived every day on time by 7 AM (still dark). They took a short break for lunch, and then immediately went back to work. Each evening after the work was done, they cleaned up the debris and put their equipment away. Very professional. This job included carpenters, masons, painters, electricians. They basically rebuilt the entire room on the corner of my house. They obtained the proper permits, had the inspectors out, etc. I would absolutely hire them again.

    SOLID ROCK MASONRY
When my boss told me he had no luck finding anyone to inspect and correct the foundation issues on his older home, my 20 years experience working for a structural engineer in another state told me that my boss needed to find a contractor that basically no longer existed. What he needed was someone with the intelligence, ingenuity and integrity to do the job right: to save his home from imminent physical demise stemming from foundation issues by restoring structural integrity to a home which unaided was sure to collapse soon. What he wanted was a contractor to do the job - a dirty and physically demanding job - requiring load calculations encompassing more than average complexity to correct the weight bearing deficiencies of the original construction, in hot working conditions of less than 2 feet in places within which to maneuver oneself, heavy cement and wooden beams. What he hoped for was a reasonable price on the mammoth undertaking to save his home from imminent, if not immediate, demise. What he got far exceeded all my expectations. Lee Krom, the owner and operator of Solid Rock Masonry documented and delivered his remediation presentation via pictures of the existing structure, explained the outline of the remediation process for the job as stated in the contract and executed the task while documenting the remediation via pictures! He was clear and concise and easy to understand for both the more experienced homeowner as well as the novice. Beyond saving the home from foundation issues he solved a related retaining wall and water issue exasperated by gutter run off on one level and the water table as the wall descends into the basement from outside. When the gutter contractor dropped the ball, Mr Krom personally took steps until the outside stair basin at basement level is bone dry after torrential rains!!!! He replaced a badly needed chimney which an apparently dishonest “contractor” told my boss was in excellent shape because upon in fact he found that it really did have a hole in it that a cat could climb through! Mr Krom himself built my boss a new chimney and took the time to get some special brick to make the badly need chimney as charming as the house. HE DID NOT CHARGE FOR THE SPECIAL BRICKS AS WELL AS COUNTLESS OTHER THINGS. He could not have been more thoughtful. He also completed a demolition an regrading project and installed a slab for the screen house. When my boss could not round up enough hands to erect the screen house the owner of the company, Lee Krom sent his crew over on a Saturday to make it happen! My boss cannot say enough about this man and his company and it is readily apparent why. Mr Krom of Solid Rock Masonry possesses the education, tenacity and compassion that every home and business owner dreams of. The prices are heavenly while the crew was a pleasure to have around, The finished job(s) - beautiful! I have never worked with a more compassionate contractor!!! One would be foolish not to contact him.

Mark, and his crew were great! The job of tearing out and replacing approximately 40 feet of our house's foundation only took them 4 days. They showed up as early as 7:15 a.m. and only as late as 8:00 a.m. each day. They were hard working, and answered all of my questions, and went above and beyond with re-routing my washing machine drain temporarily. They applied 2 coats of Drylock to waterproof the entire foundation, and back filled beautifully! We are very pleased, and will be calling Earley Contracting again for a couple of other smaller jobs.

Top To Bottom Home Improvement Company LLC
John was a great help and fixed many issues I was having in with basement waterproofing.  He came up with a professional and cost effective plan, explained it to me in layman's terms and was onsite the entire time making sure it was done properly by his crew. After the repairs were completed we did a quality inspection and he explained to how to maintain the repair so the issue does not return.

    Severance Construction
They were excellent. Dug the foundation, set the cinder blocks, poured the concrete. Built it up from there. Put on the 10x12 addition with 3 windows, 8 electrical outlets, Pergo floor, painting and finishing molding. The owner as well as every one of the crew were respectful and dedicated to doing the job 100%. Even the siding matches! They put up new rain gutters and a new roof over the addition as well. They will come back once the ground thaws after winter to do the landscaping which was included in the price.  We will have them back next year to do some remodeling in the house. Absolutely wonderful experience. If you want a quality construction firm, this is it!!!

    MILLET MASONRY & CONSTRUCTION
OUTSTANDING!!!! Marc's work exceeded the quality that I believe anyone would expect. Marc starts right so everything goes right afterwards. I have previously done foundations myself and I am familiar with the construction process and I know when corners should not be cut and when good enough is good enough. Marc's standard are considerably higher than mine He works smart and fast without any compromise in quality. This job started with very bad weather and delays but on the day when we could start he was here early to check and recheck plans. To start with, the excavation required less material removal than expected so dimensions needed to be adjusted resulting in fewer courses of block (for which he made price adjustments). A revision to the plan added two short walls that were not previously estimated - no problem!. Marc uses quality laser tools and set all the footer levels quickly. The concrete truck arrived and everything went just as one would expect. He adjusted the count for the delivery of the concrete blocks for the plan changes and all work proceeded. The foundation is level and square. He poured a mud slab for the interior of the crawl space and bull float finished it. All foundation depths exceeded any minimums and as a result the building inspector was impressed. The finished walls were poured solid and proper reinforcement was used everywhere it was needed or specified. All interior and unseen surfaces were struck level and brushed. The exterior parged surface and finish is worthy of the finest construction. Marc's work reflects care and pride without any sacrifice in quality. If you hire him you will not be disappointed! A last comment, Marc and Alan, his helper, are professional in every way. No radios blaring, the site is picked up and organized and he is prepared to work as soon as he arrives! Any family member or guest can walk onto the site and not be offended by comments, inappropriate language or behavior.
