    SOUTH TOWN TIRE INC
I have had several different cars serviced at Southtown Tire over the past twenty years: mostly Hondas, but also BMW & Ford. I cannot say enough about the professionalism, honesty, and quality of work of this place. They never do anything that is not necessary. And they have even refused to do work I thought was needed when they judged it was not! They are extremely well-informed and keep up to date on car repair technology. And to top it all off, they are very reasonably priced as well. They may be a bit more expensive than some local repair places, but way cheaper than taking your car to a dealer. And they do it right the first time. I almost never take a foreign car anywhere else unless it is some super-specialized task that only a dealer can handle.

    DUNN TIRE
They have great pricing and they care of all of the services, the tire disposal, mounting, balancing.  All of these are included in the price.  They have a nice waiting room and great prices.

    Hoosick Tire
The guys at the Hoosick store, in Hoosick Falls, New York, are honest, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The pricing is very fair. I just can't say enough about a business that treats its customers with such respect. Absolutely a top notch shop, period.

    Sears Auto Center, Middletown NY
Traditionally, I wouldn't expect Sears auto service to be worth raving about, but I think they may really be stepping up their game. I started at the Sears Auto 800 number where a representative, Hilda, was incredibly helpful. I was shopping for inexpensive tires with a tread wear warranty and a lifetime wheel alignment (you pay about double the normal alignment price  and can have the alignment checked and corrected at any Sears Auto for as long as you own the car). Misalignment is a serious tire wear problem and by buying the lifetime version, I can have the alignment adjusted anytime without deciding if I want to pay again. Hilda answered questions about the warranties, offered me an unadvertised discount, gave me a complete "out the door" price, helped me apply some reward points I had, and called my nearest store twice to make sure they could take care of me the same day. When I had to interrupt the call to check on something else, she gave me her extension so I could call back and complete the transaction! What customer service operation these days let's you speak to the same rep twice? When I got to the store at my appointment time, someone walked up to the car as I parked and said "Are you the 2 o'clock appointment?", and immediately took my keys to drive the car into the shop. The 4 tire installation and alignment took only 45 minutes. From start to finish, I was amazed. Even though my nearest store is 50 miles away, I'm going to be shopping there more often.

    Caskinette's Lofink Motor Co Inc
I had four new winter tires put on this morning, they're fantastic, I love them!  I could actually back up my driveway without any problem at all and I didn't get stuck!  I have bought three or four vehicles from them in the past and have never had a gripe with them, they're all an honest group of employees and are always courteous and professional when I have to have my car serviced.  I will buy my next vehicle there when the time comes.  Try Lofink Ford, you won't be sorry.

Dan's Tire & Auto Service Center Inc
I have never had any complaints with their service. They have a nice waiting room and they have a window where you can watch them do the work. They also have coffee available and tv's you can watch. It is located in the mall so you also have the option to shop while you wait.

    CHENEY TIRE
After replacing 2 parts without correcting the problem (cold air would shut off after the motor heated up) the service manager had us leave the vehicle for further work. We realize how difficult it can be to isolate a problem in an older vehicle. They then determined the problem was with the compressor which they replaced at no further cost. This was in a 9 year old vehicle which now, thankfully, has a perfectly running air conditioner. We appreciated their determination to fix the car's problem. These folks are outstanding.

    THE TIRE SPOT, LLC
I have used this automotive repair and tire company for the last 30 years. I had my summer tires and wheels taken off and my winter tires and wheels put on. They keep my old tires so I don't have to store them at home. I take all my repairs to them, and have never been sold something I didn't need. They are the most honest repair shop I know of.
