    TCT Federal Credit Union
I use a Credit Union and it is called TCT and it is a teacher’s Credit Union in Queensbury. It is minimal, if you work in a certain place, used to be just educational but now they have other businesses that they also allow in and you have to have 5 dollars to open any account and you are in. It is nice. Not only it is a very inexpensive to start, the account there, they have like the best interest rates in the area that is paid out or received in on loans and mortgage type of things. Their pricing is excellent. I absolutely will use this provider again in the future.

    CNB Bank
They are wonderful! When I was sick and in the hospital they took the time to send me cards. The whole staff is very friendly and caring. If I can't be the one to stop in the bank, they will tell the person running my errands to let me know they are thinking of me and say "hello".

    USAA Bank
They have always performed up to and beyond expectations at rates significantly better than competitors I have looked into.

    North Country Savings Bank
My daughter had to see if she could afford a house so she went in and they worked with them so instead of paying rent, she's paying on a house now. They're very good with working with the people to get mortgages. When my husband died, I had to start taking care of all the things that he always did and they were very good. I got in there and they helped me figure out what account and how the taxes will fix in with the mortgage. Overall, anything that I had a question on that's related to banking and such, I do them.

    Lyons National Bank - Geneva
I have a checking account with LNB. They gave me 6 books of checks, my choice of style for free at sign up. Online services are top of the line, with free, instant, cross customer transfers. They pay me interest on my checking account at the end of every month. LNB will reimburse me for any fees I accumulate using other banks ATM's. (Yes they pay me back for the ATM fees other banks charge)!! They have always been polite and have great service when I visit. Someone always says hello and remembers my name. I haven't done any loans or mortgages with them, so cannot comment on that end. I have also never experienced an overdraft issue. Overall would, and do recommend to anyone looking for a new bank to visit LNB.

    Bank of America
Was made to wait for the teller who could help me with the desired transaction (adding a name to my mother's account).  Approx wait: 10 min.    When the designated teller became available she spent less than 1 minute with me, and told me that I would have to bring my mother in to have her sign the account card to make the change.  When I informed her that this was not possible because my mother was terminally ill, and that the reason I was there with the POA was to enable me to perform such transactions on her behalf.  She then stated that without my mother's signature they would be unable to perform the change.  (Note - I was too distraught at that time to press my right as POA to perform this action.  Unfortunately, she did not offer any other solution to the problem either.  As a result of this, there will be significant additional fees associated with my mother's estate.)    Bank of America has lost my trust and I will not use them.  Unfortunately, Mom did.

    Charles Schwab & Co
Well, the positive thing with them is that, the customer support is very good especially if you have the highest level of account there but their data record is not reliable. They made mistakes on my accounts and when I complained about that they called me and said they will no longer make business with me so in terms of ethics and fairness, I will give them F. These caused me a lot of money and created enormous lose in my part.
