    Mario & Son Tile
The whole job went smoothly. Everyone from Mario and Son was friendly and helped me get the look I wanted, even though they did not think I should have the tile go around the window or the border go at the bottom edge.
I am very happy with the results.

    Everyones' Plumber
I contracted Everyone?s Plumber, a local, general contractor, in January, 2012, for a bathroom remodel; Everyone's Plumber was a company  endorsed by Servicemagic.  I checked Servicemagic to see its rating system and accreditation, and noted that its contractors were screened and approved,  and that Servicemagic received complaints less than 1/10 of 1 per cent when  endorsing a business.  I checked to see if Everyone's Plumber carried insurance and noted that the Company carried $600,000 in liability protection.

George Loturco, of Everyone's Plumber, did extensive damage to my hardwood floors, cherry cabinets, and walls while working in my house. This was the result of dragging a large cabinet and equipment through the house without protecting existing cabinets, floors and walls, and failing to use drop cloths unless prodded to do so.  Distressed,  I complained about out the deep gouges and scratches, to the floors, and I told George that I wanted an evaluation of the damage from a hardwood floor specialist.  I invited him to be present for the appointment arranged for later that day. Ignoring this, George sanded two big areas on the floor in an attempt to correct the damagre;  in so doing, he  used a solution that dissolved the finish,  thus turning color of the naturlal finish dark brown.

George was not present for the estimate, in spite of my earnest request for him to be there to clarify and ask questions.  A local, reputable company, Floor Busters, quoted a price of  $2,328 to repair the damage; in effect the whole room had to be sanded and refinished profesionally to remove scratches and blend in the stain.   I mailed the estimate to George and suggested that he submit it to his insurance Company.  What I found out during the process was that George Loturco of Everyone's Plumber

    1. had ended his association with  Servicemagic
    2. had let  his $600, 000 liability insurance  lapse as of October 2011, three months prior to beginning my remodel
    3. had a company  in 2011 called Stop Leaks Plumbing prior to forming Everone's Plumber.

His current web site specifically lists the above items  1 and 2 as factual. I would never have hired Everyone's Plumber had I not been misled.

George never completed the bathroom and much of the work done by him was sloppy. The heavy cabinets were wedged against the wall and were not anchored; this could have resulted in an accident of unsepakable proportions. There is considersble damage to walls, woodwork and especially to cherry kitchen cabinets ...damage which I have yet  to address.

George  wasted materials that we purchased, and  he charged me for what should have been tools of the trade such as a pail and sponges, trowel, etc. These items disappeared along with George Loturco.  I have had the floors fixed and a new contractor is correcting the bathroom. I have encountered a loss of over $3,000 as a result of my experience with Everyone's Plumber. I have pictures to document the damage to my home, and the corrrective measures I have had to take to repair the damage.
I have filed a report  in the office of the State Attorney General to pursue the issue of fraud.
I have filed a report with Servicemagic.
