  • First off waiting in the waiting room makes you feel like your in a homeless shelter. The women that took my sliding fee form came to the waiting room to go over the form with me to confirm what I wrote. She was loud and repeated everything from the form for everyone to hear. It was a terrible experience.

  • In an era of large practices with multiple doctors, endless waiting, impersonal service, and factory-like appointments, Dr. Holt is a breath of fresh air! She is the only doctor in her practice! She knows me, asks about my kids, picks up when I'm stressed, and interfaces with specialists on my behalf. She recommends very good specialists too. The only problem I have is that she doesn't take my insurance, so I gave a B for that - but I understand she has costs to cover. I find her respectful and upbeat. She is not a worry-wart, so if you are the anxious type you have to ask her to give you the rundown of all the possible nefarious causes of your symptoms and she will give it. if you can afford a doctor who doesn't take your insurance (check with her office to see), I recommend Dr. Holt wholeheartedly.

  • No point in giving me any daily house cleaning services. What I am looking for is 5 days a week a housekeeper.
This person needs to cook, heavy clean, shop, do laundry, drive her own car, speak English. Plus have good references.

  • Wonderfully, as usual. I was ushered into the exam room on time, and was seen very shortly after. We spent time discussing my overall health, mental as well as physical, and I always leave there feeling that I have spent quality time with him.

  • He is a very good doctor. He is very capable and knows the stuff. He is very knowledgeable in his field. I just have to see him periodically because I had high cholesterol years ago and that is all taken care of. I see him once a year and I get a blood test every six months just to check the cholesterol. I have lot of confidence in him. I would rate him highly. I would use him again in the future.

  • We began with heavy steroid treatment to get the inflammation under control.  In late March Methotrexate treatment began.  When I did not respond to this common DMARD we began treatment with monthly injections of Simponi.  By late August the response to the Simponi was weak at best, he suggested trying monthly Actemra infusions.  I am currently two months into the Actemra treatments and joint use is starting to improve.

With any treatment of this disease is a slow process of finding what works for each patient.  Dr. Becker has kept me informed of what to expect and rapidly moved on when treatments did not prove successful.

  • During a routine yearly exam, my family doctor discovered a possible circulation problem with my left leg. It was suggested that I see a vascular specialist and Dr Hurst was highly recommended on my insurance company's website. I set up the appointment and was examined and tested and unfortunately have been diagnosed with PAD. I'll now be on regular treatments and examinations every few months with Dr Hurst. Fortunately, Dr Hurst is a very courteous and professional doctor with a great bedside manner, he explained all the options available to me, and made me feel at ease, so it's going to be a pleasure following up with him over the next 30 to 40 years, I hope!

  • He is a very caring person. I have recommended him to several of my friends. He is relatively young. He was a physician at West Point at one time and I work at a school and at one time he was the school's physician but he is too busy for that now.

  • For annual exams, it is difficult to schedule an appointment with Dr. Simonson so you have to do it about a year in advance because they reserve appointment times for OB patients. However, the office staff always tries to fit you in where possible. On this visit, I was called in to the exam room at time of my appointment. The nurse took my weight and blood pressure and then set me up in the exam room. Within about 5 minutes, Dr. Simonson came in. He reviewed my history and performed the physical exam. He invited the nurse in to be there during the pap smear.
  • Dr. Reiber is one of those unknown treasures. He has limited office hours but when you need a diagnostician he is the man. I last saw him for an upper respiratory infection. When I had shingles,my doctor didn't diagnose it. I was in such horrendous pain that I had to go to the emergency room at Good Samaritan Hospital. I went to see Dr. Reiber and it didn't take him long to figure out what was going on with me. More than that he suspected that something else was going on because he kept taking my pulse. Apparently the shingles was having an adverse effect on my heart because he sent me straight to the hospital where I passed out on arrival because my blood pressure was so low. Treatment was started immediately that literally saved my life. Dr. Reiber was phenomenal. The drawback is it is hard to get in to see him in a timely manner.
