AAllen Plumbing Heating & Air ConditioningWe recently had a leak with our heating/cooling systems, and after soliciting recommendations from friends in the Reno/Sparks area, we went with Allen Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning. Even though they were slammed as this is their busy season, they were able to fit us in within a few days. Once they arrived, they were very professional and diagnosed and fixed our leak within the hour! We've already scheduled for routine maintenance for our heating systems in the Fall. FKosich FirewoodIncredibly rude! Charged me for stacking and then DID NOT stack. When asked why he didn’t stack, he said my 2 stairs were icy, they weren’t and I have pictures to prove it. Jason then said that he was charging me for stacking since he brought the wood to the side of my house instead of leaving in my driveway. Total jerk!!- michelle c.

AAllen Plumbing Heating & Air ConditioningFrom beginning to end, Allen was highly professional. The person answering the phone was responsive and thorough and Lamont Allen called me back promptly. He appeared when scheduled, and with his colleague, they thoroughly inspected my A/C and identified a problem. He suggested a progressive approach to solving it, without jumping to the most expensive option first. Lamont also took time to thoroughly clean out our built-in gas grill, to make it funcitonal. AMORIN CHIMNEY SWEEP LLCI think he gets pretty good reviews but he did something that really irritated us. We're not going to use him anymore. I needed some other handyman work done surrounding the house and he said he had a handyman service and he also did that. He gave us his phone number and his card and after inspecting some of the things he said, yeah, we need to do that. I said, well, let's do that but he never responded to my phone calls or my emails to get the work done. His chimney sweep side of things is really good. But I'd give him an 'F' for his handyman work.- William C.

Reno Heating & Air is a family owned and operated buisness, with over 70 years or experience. 10 employees, we do use subcontractors, Reno Heating is a mechanical contractor with a c21 license(56404). We charge an initial 75.00 dispatch which covers the first 15 minutes on the job and we charge in 1/4 hour increaments after that. Additional contacts: Katy Trevino, Kristi Nichols.

AThese folks are fantastic! John Trevino and his assistant came over to look at our HVAC units and check what needed to be done per comments on our house inspection--we bought the 10 y/o old about 7 months ago. John determined that the two units needed a bit more work inside and outside than what the inspectors found, and said the humidifier would work well with our system. They gave us a fair price, based on the research I did. We also originally wanted a "mini split" unit in the office so we could heat/cool it separately from the rest of the area covered by the second HVAC unit. However, the price was somewhat more than we thought it would be and, after John understood our needs, he suggested just adding a zone to the unit--which was much less expensive and exactly what we needed. I was a little disappointed that it was not John who ultimately did the work, but his team was excellent. The job wound up taking an extra 10 hours or so than they thought it would, but they didn't charge a dime more than the estimate. They made sure everything worked correctly and cleaned up after themselves, and they explained all of the new equipment. I would recommend these folks any time and will be signing up for their annual maintenance plan.

AI have been in contact with the company before to schedule a huge tree property service on my property. I have met both 'Franks'. There is a Frank that is the owner and he has an employee that works for him also named Frank. What I find really compelling is how versed both Franks are with the TRPA regulatory agency and they educated me just how important it would be for me to get my ducks in a row so that TRPA would not come for the attack if I do any work that is not permitted. I had no idea about the ShoreZone TRPA rules and I did exactly what they directed and was able to get a TRPA permit to do very specific ShoreZone pruning and cutting. These guys know the rules and I scheduled an appointment for May next year to complete the project permitted by TRPA. Both Franks helped me protect myself from getting into trouble with TRPA and for that I am thankful. They saved me a lot of pain especially if I were to get into trouble with TRPA. Recently, I had a tree fall down between my house and another. In fact, a large portion of the tree was resting on a few limbs of another tree and was about to fall onto my metal roof and would have caused substantial damaged. I called and texted Frank and they came out immediately and removed the tree. They were so fast and their work was so precise. You would never have know a tree went down or any of the damage that it caused the other trees around it. Great crew and great owner. Thank you frank for saving my tail with regard to TRPA and thank you again for coming out so fast to stop any possible damage to my home from that huge fallen tree.

Agreat!, not a large company, but smallness leads to being more flexible. Ron is a master deck builder with years of experience, and it shows. his crew is also very experienced and easy to have at your house- they respect you and your space-great guys. Ron's pricing is fair and reasonable, I never felt like I was being taken advantage of or being ripped off. I will hire Ron and company for my next project, large or small, not even going to take any bids besides his.
