    Karrasch, Dr. Charles C.
Have had ongoing treatment over last 3 months with increasingly strong acid applications for resistant plantar warts in areas not appropriate for surgery. Currently pausing treatment while awaiting next appointment due to sore development in diabetic foot. Gives excellent explanations for his treatment choices. Had 2 delayed appointments due to his travel by 1 week. Was able to be seen for initial appointment immediately.

    Knedgen, Dr. Joseph F
Injection was fine and did the trick. Hammertoe prevention splint caused foot wounds which caused me not to use them due to diabetic condition. Needed prodding to explain what was going on and why though very responsive to questions. Did not examine feet for any other potential concerns that might be (and were developing). In short, did an adequate, but not stellar job.

This placed is filled with a bunch of office staff with the left not know what the right was doing.  Seemed all they wanted was to bill bill bill. Finally I went to an acupuncturist and the pain inflammation disappeared

    Burgess, Dr. John F

From the moment I walked into the office, it was the most pleasant and informative session. Barbara, the office manager, is as nice and proficient in person as when I initially set up my appointment. I had asked that Barbara send me all the forms needed to be completed to my home prior to the visit--she did and that was great to fill them out at my leisure. Appointment was on-time!

Dr. Bugress is a skilled physician with a great bedside manner. During my hour plus exam, he thoroughly examined everything from my ankles to the tips of my toes; explaining what he found in lay person's terms. My particular problem had to do with a causal relationship between walking mechanics and related foot stresses/pain.

Dr. Bugress removed some dry skin buildups, provided some shoe inserts/supports at basically his cost and without any and quot;sales pressure. In fact, he suggested going to several local sporting good stores to compare prices and options--he clearly wanted the patient to see all options and to make a decision in a non pressured environment. I learned more about my feet in this appointment than I had from any other doctor; this doctor inspires trust and confidence with his patients.

The only down side to this office was it took about 6 weeks to get in for my first appointment. I mentioned that to Dr. Burgess and it acknowledged that was a bit longer than he would have liked. He provided me with the information I needed and provided a timetable for a return visit (only if I felt it was needed). An honest doctor with solid skills whose sole focus is healing--what a pleasant experience it was.

    Burgess, Dr. John F
I have gone to this podiatrist for many years. This last go round I was suffering pain in the bunion joint of one foot for months. He promptly evaluated the foot, diagnosed the problem, and effected what was essential a cure after one follow up visit. He has seen me in the past for other various foot problems, and is always pleasant, communicates well, and staff are very nice. I would highly recommend this professional for all ongoing foot and ankle care. I will definitely be continuing to see him as the years go by.

    Chambers, Dr. Joseph E.
Dr. Chambers diagnosed the problem, and recommended orthotics. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, but I didn't feel he listened very well,. He took casts of my foot for custom orthotics, and they work very well in my walking shoes, but they are too large and clunky to work in most of my shoes, even though I took several pairs with me to the appointment to show him what I wore. I can have additional ones made, but hesitate, since he seemed to feel that the ones were given would work with more shoes.

    Burgess, Dr. John F
First, Dr. Burgess carefully reviewed all the forms I filled out as a first-time patient. He asked me questions regarding some of the information and added notes to the forms. After examining my foot, he explained what he thought was causing the pain and proceeded to remove an ingrown toenail, caused by the hammertoe. All the while he appeared genuinely interested in me, my health problem and my overcoming the problem. He never appeared hurried. He never tried to sell me on more services. He even gave me without charge some items to make the hammertoes less bothersome/painful. He made me feel much better about the state of physicians. He's like doctors used to be decades ago. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

    Aramini, Dr. Michael B.
Dr. Aramini is really one of those rare doctors that has an actual, genuine curiosity in solving your problem. You could see the wheels turning in his head as he tried to get to the bottom of my pain. His approach was more akin to Sherlock Holmes trying to solve a case. It wasn't just about treating the symptoms, he really wanted to nail down the root cause (and that is difficult in the case of neuropathy). And so we eliminated a lot of possibilities during my visits. In the end it looks like it is just one of those things that can't really be solved, which frustrated both of us. But, as he said, we eliminated a lot of potentially bad causes. It was almost like he was a neurologist instead of a podiatrist. He is extremely thorough.
He's also very easy to talk with, so much so it's like conversing with a friend. On one of my visits I casually mentioned a callus on a big toe and he just went ahead and shaved it off right then and there. On another visit, I mentioned the orthotics I had for the sole pain were working somewhat but I could still feel it a bit. He took them and personally added felt to the bottoms to lift them up. And he did different sizes for each of the feet.
Reno seems to be blessed with good podiatrists, but this doctor goes above and beyond even them. I think he looks at each case as a personal challenge to conquer and solve. He's not going through the motions and running you in and out as fast as he can. I would wholeheartedly endorse Dr. Aramini for any problems with the leg and foot (or anything, for that matter).

I had problems with my toes for some time and just didn't get around to seeing a doctor. Eventually when my toes were very sore andthere were signs of some infection I checked Angie's List for a foot doctor in the area. Dr Knedgen knew exactly what the problem was, and was extremely friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend him.

I liked everything about this Doctor, his asistant and the homey feel of the office. Dr Burgess is a very pleasant man and he got right to the point. He knew exactly what to do. He is very assured and knowledgeable.

The office is very neat and clean and the atmosphere was one of genuine honesty and the desire to help. I feel very lucky in finding this doctor. I will be returning for either another cutting and cleaning of the ingrown nails or the surgery to remove them, which he says is very simple, comfortable and quick. I found him on Angies List which I use a lot and with which have had very good luck.
