I have glaucoma so I went to one of the doctors, he is the glaucoma specialist. He is the first doctor to help me understand what the long term solution will be for controlling my eye pressure. They are professional, very organized, and friendly. I am doing okay after my surgery.

    Dr. Leslynn Catlett O.D.
She is wonderful. She is teamed with the Berkeley Eye Clinic which to me is the best place on the west coast. She gives really high quality care so she always checks for any diseases or any changes. She has photographed the inside of my eyes fifteen years ago and then she checks to make sure there are there are no changes. She is absolutely professional and a friendly way. She has a good manner about her. She does a really thorough job. She never cuts corners, makes sure that your eyes are healthy and makes sure that you get the right prescription if you need glasses or contact lenses. She will keep working with you until everything is perfect. When I first got contacts, I went back to her about three or four times until we got the right fix. I just had a very bad eye sight so it wasn’t easy to get the right contacts but she tried different ones and we found the one that works for me. And with my eye glasses too, if I am not satisfied or something’s wrong, I just go in and she will check it and makes sure everything is okay. I was with her when she was at Sam’s club, she moved on to a different clinic. The new clinic really wants you to buy your glasses there but she doesn’t force you either way so I could buy it where I want to. She doesn’t say go to this place or that place; she just gives you the prescription. When I had bad allergy, she made sure I got the right allergy eye drops that I needed for a while. She is just concerned about your eye health and she will go way out of her way to make sure that you get as much as of an insurance claim also. We have insurance and so she will do everything she can to get full benefit for you. She will tell you upfront, your insurance company will pay for this but won’t pay for that and I call them up and I ask them this and that and she doesn’t really burden you with too much information but she tells you right up front, that these are the choices that you should make and if there is ever a question with your eye’s health, go with your eye health no matter what. She wants you to have healthy eyes.

    Hearne, Dr. Isaac J.

My eyes were tested and examined by Dr Hearne. He issued me a prescription for glasses. I took the prescription to the person in his office to order the glasses. The glasses were the same as my previous pair with trifocals and photo darkening in the lenses. They cost about $700.00. I noticed that the door on the glasses part of the office had a different name and I considered that may be for liability reasons on the Dr.and quot;s part for the glasses.

I received the glasses and after several days and maybe a couple of weeks, had trouble seeing at mid range and close. I made a return appointment and my eyes were rechecked and I visited with the Dr. He said that sometimes the different manufacturers glasses that the viewing shape was different and that may be the problem. I left thinking that I would hear from them again. That was not the case. I waited for sometime and did not hear back so I scheduled another appointment.

My eyes were retested and I was not told if the result was the same as previous or if it had changed. The Dr asked of I had received my NEW glasses and said that no new glasses were offered. I was sent to the glasses dept and she took my glasses and I left. I received a call that my glasses were ready and I picked them up. I asked what had been changed and she said that they were sent to the manufacturer. I could not determine that any change had been. made.

I received a prescription for glasses and ordered trifocals. Cost $700.00. I had a problem with seeing at mid range and close. I went in for another appointment and was not sure of the result or further action. I waited and did not hear from them again until I recalled and set up another appointment. My eyes were rechecked for the third time and I Left my glasses for correction. I continue to have the same vision problem with these glasses and feel that they did not stand behind their work.

    Surgery Center of Oklahoma
The second time I went here for my cataract surgery. They usually give you a warm blanket, but since it was the end of the day, I feel like everyone was rushed. After the surgery, my left eye did not have the correct lens put in. I will not use them again because of the incompetence of the work performed. I went to my regular eye doctor, and he noticed things were messed up. He said there was something wrong with my eye pressure. I was unable to watch TV or read clearly. This caused me to have panic attack.

Everything with the right eye went well, but they put in wrong lenses on the left eye and never corrected. I would not recommend them after this. They said I could come back and have the correct lenses in or have LASIK, but it would be 3 months later. I decided not to go back or even consider using them. I do not trust that they are competent. The administration was able to get my $900 back to me for the lenses.

Eye exam was through and professional.
Also, went to Optical department to get new glasses and lenses. Lisa was great. Trust her to select or help to select the right glasses for you. In shopping around I found they were not the least expensive, but their service is well worth it.

Surgery Center staff were caring, efficient and answered my questions prior to surgery. They expalined every aspect of the pre-surgery prep and the nurse who set the IV needle did an excellent job. I hate needles, so her expertise in placement the first time was relatively painless and most appreciated. Surgery took less than 15 minutes and recovery was a breeze. I was on my way home and have been progressing nicely since.

I had this procedure done in 2008 with minimal results and shared this with Dr. Stanko. Dr. Stanko was very optimistic from the beginning, stating there had been significant improvements in the technology of the laser since then. Initially I remained doubtful and elected not to have this treatment right then but when faced with higher pressures a few months later and the only other option being to add another type of eye drop, I reluctantly decided to give it another try. Pressure was reduced about 25% in each eye! Check ups are now semi annual rather than quarterly. The Doc knew what he was talking about!

    Plecha, Dr. Stanley L
He's quite competent and very accessible. He's prompt and his office ambiance is excellent. The ladies who work for him are very nice and he's a good surgeon. He operated on both of my cataracts and they were fine.
