    Dr. Line Jacques
She's got an excellent personality, one of the best doctors you'd want to deal with. She's very easy to talk to, great bedside manner and sense of humor. She's really easygoing and friendly and takes time to give you all of the information you need. Her office is right across from the hospital. They take care of everything, they even set me up with a place to stay while I was there for my surgery.

    Vacca, Dr. Dante F
My overall experience with Dr. Vacca and his staff was awesome! My surgery was scheduled for 3/23/12 and his staff made sure all insurance needs were taken care of and made sure I had all the instructions I needed for the surgery. The morning of my surgery Dr. Vacca came and talked to me prior to the surgery to make sure all my questions were answered and to reassure me and make sure I was comfortable. The surgery went extremely well with no problems at all. While I was in recovery Dr. Vacca came to see me and let me know he had decided to keep me overnight due to other medical issues I have which were affecting them being able to control my pain. Once moved to my room a few hours later, he made sure that I was comfortable and my pain was being controlled. I had a good night in the hospital and was able to get a fair amount of sleep. In the morning Dr. Vacca came in and checked my bandages, etc. and made sure I felt well enough to go home, which I did. I was released with orders for what I could and could not do for the first few weeks and an appointment to follow up with the doctor. On my follow up appointment I was released from treatment as I was healing very well. Dr. Vacca told me how to continue with my recovery and to call with any questions or problems. I highly recommend him and will definitely see him again if needed.

    Spine Nevada
After surgery I had a few complications NONE were any doing of Dr Lynch or his staff! However Dr Lynch was right there to check on me first thing in the AM as was several PA's that work with Dr Lynch to make sure that everything was going well. They catered to my every need from nausea which was horrible to pain control. I could not have had better care from anyone's staff!!! Even after I went home when I had a question they would always call me back within 15 minutes or less!! They were wonderful and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a spine surgery from top to bottom.. They have their own Physical Therapy that specialize in spine recovery and pain management for all the rest!! Considering what this was all about I had a GREAT Experience! I highly recommend Spine Nevada and all there PA's and office staff. All very friendly and caring.

    Sierra Neurosurgery Group
Thankfully, although surgery is what he does, Dr. Morgan is conservative he said that we could try non-surgical methods and that is what I appreciate about him. He understood that I wanted to find another way so he prescribed physical therapy and pain management. I am seeing a pain management Dr. in the group who I really, really like. His name is Dr. Blake. He explains everything and is very thorough. While I still have pain and things I can't do, I think it would be worse from a surgery, so I am hoping that my back does not get much worse and by the time it does, a new method will be discovered that is not so invasive.

The appointment was to make an assessment of my condition (sciatica, general lower back pain) to determine whether having MRI and X-rays would be an appropriate next step. I was seen by Amber R Sands PA C, who conducted a very thorough interview relative to my current condition and past history. She also had me perform some physical exercises, and discussed several possible treatments that would be available, contingent upon the MRI results. I subsequently had several MRI and X-rays, the results of which will be reviewed for me next week

For the following reason, I gave a D for availability. it was very difficult to get into see one of the M.D.'s in the SNG group initially.  If you have acute pain, it can take months to get an appointment unless you find an alternative way in the door. So, when the pain is killing you, good luck; it doesn't seem to make any difference to the SNG schedulers.  For the following reason, I gave a D for punctuality. When I was finally seen on the 18th, the wait was 1-1/2 hours in the waiting room before I got into the consultation/examination room. That's inexcusable.  SNG gets A's for the medical environment, the bedside manner of Dr. Jacob Blake (the pain specialist) and his communication skills. He was very informative and took as much time as was necessary to answer all of my questions as well as my husband's. His knowledge also seemed impressive and I am confident that staying with him in the future is a wise move. He was easy to be with and also had a sense of humor about himself. He did not take himself too seriously. He has already gained my trust and that's very important. I feel I will be in good hands with him.  Staff friendliness in the back office garnered a B. I didn't really connect with any one of them and I usually do. They were very busy that day, however.  If I would have had to rate the staff person in the front office who sits behind the window, she would have gotten a D. I found her communication skills to be poor. She also seemed flippant in the sense that after at least 3 encounters with her, on every occasion she was always conversing with another employee during the time she was supposed to be attending to me. Also, my medical records, given to her the first time I was in, were lost somewhere along the way. I don't know whose fault that was but since they were put in her hands initially, I have to think that combined with her seemingly disinterested attitude, I'd have to bet on her.
