I made the call expecting to have an appt in a few days and was pleasantly surprised to find they could come within the hour for this routine service. The tech arrived and changed the locks, everything went well

Everything went well.  The technician was running late and called to let me know.  I appreciated this very much.  I wish he would have cleaned up the marks he left on the doors, but other than that, it was good work.

First of all, the receptionist in the office was not professional and lacked knowledge on how to talk with a customer and procedure for changing locks. Being in property management a very long time, I know from experience that when you make an appointment for a locksmith to help you enter a home when you do not have a key, you much prove you are the owner of the home. The lady in the office just told me to meet him at the property and he would gain entry with his tools. I asked her if I needed to prove ownership and she said "no". When I asked her again she said we should bring our title. Now how many people have a title to a home sitting around? We asked her if we could bring our mortgage papers and she said "ok". Once we got to the home, we found the tenants left it unlocked so it was not an issue. But I would not have been happy to drive out 20 miles to find I needed to prove ownership of the property.
We arrived at 11am. We waited an hour and then we get a call that they forgot to get us on the schedule and can they re-schedule it. We told the office we had been sitting at the property an hour so they pulled a locksmith off another job and sent him right over. He came prepared to do the job except he was not sure he had a part for the slider which he ended up having afterall. He was good and we had not problems with hime. The job was done quickly and he made us the extra keys we needed. All the problems we had were with the office not the locksmith. I felt bad that he had to leave another job because the office made mistakes.
Overall, I rated them a "c" because he did a good job on short notice. I would try them again and hope they get it right. My time is valuable too and an hour sitting in the sun is just not good for making a long-time customer.

I called and got same day service.  I had tried to install the lock myself but failed.  The technician took the time to explain to me where I went wrong. The installation was speedy.  I would definitely use Alpine again!

New to the area and called for an appointment on Tuesday the 24th and was able to schedule service for the next day at 2:00pm.  Technician was on time, professional and prepared for the service with the right lock and key system and completed the job within 20 minutes!  GREAT service and will use them again!

Took about 5 business days to get warranty part from Anderson.  Work was performed by Advanced the next day.  Advanced made two trips to home.  First was to attempt a repair to broken lock; the second visit to install the new lock system.  Robert was helpful in informing me as to how to contact Anderson to order the new lock system at no cost to me.

Andy was supposeto have arrived between 4:30--5, but he actually arrived 20 minutes early. When he called to say he was at the house, we were about 5 mins away. By the time we arrived, he had already picked the lock. Accordingly, the lock was not destroyed in the process and can be re-used if we find the key. Service call was estimated at $45-$60. With a senior discount, the charge was $50.

When moving into a new home, I bought a new lock set (two keyed door knobs and two deadbolts, with matching keys) from a home improvement store. This covered the garage and rear doors, but the front door had a deadbolt I wanted to keep because it matched the door.
I took the front deadbolt core, the old key and the new key to their location in the Shopper's Square parking lot. They got the deadbolt re-keyed in about 5 minutes, and charged me $10. Excellent, quick service!

At 2am at a 711 the only key and family dog were accidentally locked in my car. I found 24 Hour Lockout online advertising 25 hour locksmith services to open vehicles for as low as 20 dollars. I called and an answering service picked up asking me for location of lockout. She would not provide any information on price and told me she is only told to send the locksmith to the location. I had to insist that he call me first. In about 15 or 20 minutes Tanner the locksmith called and I tried to get information but he was irritable and interrupting me trying to rush off the phone. All he wanted to do was find out how I planned to pay but hung up on me without quoting me a price. He claimed to have another call he had to get to right at that moment and had to go, but I specifically asked that he call me back before he went to my car. He said he would call me right back and the call would take him 25 mins or so. After 15 minutes he showed up at the car and popped the lock before I even knew he had arrived. When I was able to speak to him he told me he did the job and the cost was $125. When I told him that was too much and asked why he didn't tell me the price BEFORE he did the service he was extremely rude to me. At that point I told him to lock the car right back up because I refuse to pay $125 for a slim Jim, especially when his website stated simple car lockouts were as low as 20. He s*** back at me in a condescending, argumentative tone and said if I would have read the whole website I would have seen the fine print that states the price of 20 is only in rare situations during regular business hours when a child has been locked in the car. WHAT A SCAM!!! If a child was locked in a car, emergency services will unlock it for free. This locksmith business is NOT ETHICAL, NOT HONEST, NOT PROFESSIONAL. Tanner lied about having another call so he could evade the discussion of price and purposely performed the service before quoting me so he could gouge me. Their website is misleading and they are not truthful in their advertising. Tanner uses an overbearing, confrontational, condescension to manipulate the customer and pretty much bulldoze them so he can rip them off before they have a chance to make an informed choice to opt to use a more affordable service. Tanner didn't realize that I had called 2 other locksmiths that provide 24 hour lockout services and was quoted $50 and $65 by courteous, professional, representatives. So I demanded that Tanner lock my car back up and leave and he got very testy and loud, and proceeded to LOCK THE KEY AND PUPPY BACK IN THE CAR. I called the other locksmith to request service and then TANNER SUDDENLY DECIDED TO MATCH THE OTHER RATE QUOTE AND ONLY CHARGE ME $50. I reluctantly agreed simply because I felt sorry for the puppy but was/am EXTREMELY nervous about giving that CON MAN my credit card. Before we parted ways he started to lecture me about how he isn't the owner and he has no control over the rates, which was yet one more lie. He didn't call and ask anyone for permission to drop the rate by more than half. He is the one who directed the entire transaction in a way that enabled him to avoid giving me a price and doing the job without my consent and it was he alone who tried to intimidate me and basically strong arm me into paying a GROSSLY INFLATED RATE. Nice way to do business. Take advantage of people in times of stress and emergency, intentionally deceive customers by prominently advertising a low price that isn't offered to 99% of the population. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOK! HE LIES AND TAKES ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE AND GOUGES CUSTOMERS AND IS RUDE AND UNETHICAL.

Alpine lock and key was courteous, professional, and the technician was knowledgeable, skilled, and took pride in his work. He worked efficiently to finish each component of the job and made helpful relevant recommendations for the current installation and the future. I will definitely use them next time. Another plus, pricing was competitive and quoted completely upfront.
