This company is very professional and easy to work with. They offered a great deal on their package through Angie's List and the monthly pricing for the service is more than fair to me. Their service reps are really nice and walk you through everything you need to know. They game some information so I could compare them to other home security vendors and their product seemed to be superior to others. I have been happy with the service so far.

    Vivint Inc
It has been so cool. It's truly made the home experience so much better and added more value to our home than anything else in terms of how we live in the space. We've added several devices they've made compatible to their service, like Nest Thermostat Amazon Echo and Lighting control, to truly make our home a wow factor to friends and family. It's extremely convenient to be able to control lights, locks, the thermostat or just check in on things via cameras. The door bell camera they offer is exceptionally better than the ring we used to have and it is very nice to be able to utilize it from the same app we use for everything else. I use the whole service WAY more than I ever thought I would and can't see how I could ever go back to living without It. It has made life so much simpler and offered a great deal of ease while reducing concern or worry. One last thing and then I'll get off my soap box. A few things haven't worked from time to time, which as with anything tech related you rely on, can be quite frustrating, but I've always been overly impressed with their responsive service and exceptionally pleasant representatives on the other end of the phone and in person technical staff. You just don't see that in companies any more; it's really refreshing. Even though they're a little more expensive then some of their competition, they're still quite competitive and between the product and customer service we probably under pay for how great they are!

On the initial ordering and installation of my security system Frontpoint was extremely responsive and helpful.  With their assistance you determine what is needed and then order it.  Once you receive the equipment you install it (it's easy) once it's installed you phone Frontpoint and tell them it's ready for activation and they run the diagnostics and then activate the system.  I have had nothing but excellent interaction with Frontpoint.  They are well informed and expeditious in contacting you.

    ALL PRO SECURITY, INC.
My semi-rural mobile home had been burglarized three days prior so I was anxious to get increased security in place.  Based on Angie's List I called All Pro to schedule an appointment on 10/06/15.  Salesperson Jonathan was willing to come to my home the same evening, arriving as scheduled.  He thoroughly explained the system they use (Honeywell materials with monitoring by Monitronics) and the options for coverage.  In my case magnetic contacts at all doors and windows, motion sensors and glass break detectors.  Jonathan explained the features such as panic, duress, "stay" and "away" and all costs involved.  I felt as though I received special attention as they were able to install my system two days later on 10/08/15.  The owner Tim arrived on time and explained he performs installations when his crew is busy.  Previously, I had not considered alarming my detached garage but asked Tim about it and he was able to add door and window contacts to my system with a discretely mounted repeater in a bedroom.  Jonathan arrived to assist.  When install was completed Tim walked me through the digital key pad operation and features.  Key fobs were included to arm/disarm from up to 150'.  A nice feature for use from my auto or for the pet sitter. I have called Jonathan a couple of times with questions on operation and he has always provided a thorough and kind response.  All Pro's quick response reduced my fear and anxiety and provided a complete package that is easy to operate.  I highly recommend them!

    ALL PRO SECURITY, INC.
Bought a camera system from Costco and had company install the wiring on the outside.  I installed the hardware and cameras myself.  Did a good job on the install.  Had a couple of issues with wrong connector (still not fixed) but all worked out.  Reasonable price for good work.

    CEI Alarm
When our house was built all entry points (windows and doors) as well as infrared motion detectors were hard wired in.  Recently, all the windows and doors were replaced to provide for more efficient ones and with the replacement my wife and I decided to refresh our home security alarm system as well as it was 15+ years old.  Refreshing the security system would allow us to determine the exact level of security we wanted to retain in our home. Using Angie's List, we narrowed the companies we wanted to use down to two local firms.  (If you are considering putting an alarm in or upgrading I strongly suggest you do not do this without looking at Angie's List.)  One company we were familiar with, the other company we were not.  We interviewed the company we were familiar with; got a lot of sales rhetoric and little else of value.  It was my job to interview CEI Alarm and see what the benefit would be by using them rather than the first company. I drove to the company offices unannounced and asked to speak with someone about alarm system upgrades and/or replacement.  Dave Sinclair, President of CEI, introduced himself and we began to converse about what type of systems are currently in the market place.  As we progressed, he invited security consultant Rick Nichols to join us.  After a 90 minute discussion about alarm systems and what CEI does and does not do (much to my relief there was no sales pitch or "is your family really safe" rhetoric involved) I invited CEI to review my system and give me a bid. Rich Nichols arrived on the date and at the time agreed upon.  We spent 2 1/2 hours discussing the pros and cons of adequate, good and excellent home security options.  In the end I chose a system that was a blend of my existing hardwire system and the addition of varying wireless components including a wireless cell.  Rich indicated that he would sit down with Dave and work out an estimate for the work. Approximately 5 days later I met with Rich again and reviewed the estimate.  My hardwire requirements drove the cost of the work up considerably due to the labor involved.  (I knew this going in as an average labor for all the companies I spoke with was $75.00+ per hour for work on existing systems and we have a lot of doors and windows.)  The overall costs of the additional security upgrades were acceptable.  We discussed contract terms for monitoring and ownership of the system when the contract expired (which is extremely important to know) and agreed on the total estimate price. Prior to installation, I spoke with Glenda Mueller, office manager, twice to complete necessary paperwork and assure that all the I's were dotted and the T's were crossed.  I was grateful she initiated these conversations as I had forgotten many things of importance for an operational system. Alex Chmelewski, CEI's installation/service manager arrived on the date and at the time agreed upon to do the necessary work and install the new pieces of the system.  The work took almost 10 hours to complete.  Alex reviewed the system with me and made sure I knew how it worked.  He was neat, clean and efficient and the final product revealed that. Three days after the installation Rick called me to inquire how the system was working and if I had any questions.  The system works great and I told him even though Alex was thorough about the system nuances I had forgotten how to rename zones.  Within 2 minutes of completing the telephone call with Rick, Alex called from another work site and walked me through the procedure again. I am grateful we chose CEI as our alarm company.  They held to their bid, completed the work in a timely and expert manner and I received what I paid for.  This is a local company that cares about customer service and will make sure you know every option available to you.  I found no hidden agendas or sleight of hand, if you will.  I would recommend this company to anyone looking to install or upgrade their alarm system.  They will work hard to earn your business and retain it.

They are very easy to use. I highly recommend them. They are much better than ADT. First of all, you install your own unit. It is kind of peculiar, but it is very easy. They send it to you. You plug it in the wall. You call them, and they take your code information. Then, they send you a portable scanner which is very nice because it does not look like a scanner. They send you a broken glass thing that is very easy to put up, and you are ready to go. They have the home automation, and I am adding that later on. They also have the remote app on your iphone where you can turn the alarm on or off in case you have somebody come in. They are cheaper and better than ADT. When we had ADT before, we were burglarized. I called the police and they came. Several hours later, ADT called, said that they had an alarm and asked if I was alright. I told them I was dead because by the time they got here I could have been.

    TRINITY ALARMS
About 3 years ago I was shopping around for an alarm system.  I chose Trinity Alarms/Chris Murphy due to price, equipment, and information presented.  I have not regretted my choice for one minute.  For the few things I have needed to be maintained, Chris has been extremely responsive, informative and enthusiastic.  I had him install a smoke detector that is hooked up to the system and it works great.  The monitoring company has been very quick to respond when I have accidentally set off the alarm and did not get to the touch pad to disarm the system.   I liked Chris so much that I recommended him to a friend who is a judge in our town who was in need of cameras and an alarm system at her home.  Not only did Chris get her house wired up but he also did the same with her court.  Chris has always been honest, incredibly knowledgeable, and so enthusiastic about his work.  Lastly, I really appreciate that he doesn't try to scare people into purchasing a security system.  One company showed up at my door trying to use the murder of a couple 17 doors down from me as a scare tactic to bully me into buying their services.  I am very pleased with the services I have received from Trinity Alarms and have nothing but appreciation for the services Trinity/Chris Murphy has provided to keep my house secure.
