PCHHC is awesome! From my first interaction to everything we have done to date- they have been wonderful. We have worked with many HH companies in the Valley. PCHHC is the best. Competent providers and great communication and coordination of services. They care about your loved one and their recovery or progress. Other HH services we have worked with were very poor quality all around and most importantly did not seem to care about all the issues or inconsistencies. Every provider we have had from PCHHC has been competent and able to communicate and answer questions. Do not stick with a HH provider you are not happy with - you have the right to change- call PCHCC today. We stuck with the hospital provided option at discharge for way too long and it compromised our loved one's recovery. We can not thank all the staff at PCHHC enough!!

    Lifenet Alert Systems LLC
After reading about several companies I selected Medical Guardian (Lifenet Alert) and found the price to be reasonable and the service to be excellent. I highly recommend them to anyone who has health issues and is alone part of the time.

    Merrill Gardens
It is an independent living, assisted living center. It is not a nursing home but they do provide assistance as needed on an individual basis. The facilities are excellent and the people were just absolutely wonderful to my mother. She was care for very very well. They would come in, even on their time off, to come in and check on her and say hello. I can't say enough about the staff they had there. The facilities are gorgeous and the staff is wonderful. I absolutely do recommend them to other people and have, to people who's parents are coming to an age where they are going to need assistance. I always tell them that this is the first place they should go check.

Infinity Hospice Care LLC - Las Vegas
Infinity Hospice Care LLC - Las Vegas work with me very well and give me a lot of ideas for my mother. They're very knowledgeable about what they do and all the people who work there have been very helpful.

    Advanced Home Care
They are excellent. They follow-up. They have a nursing home except it's far more advanced than that. Their care was outstanding. Whatever type and level of care that we need, they have it covered. I have absolutely no problems.

    Creekside Home Health Care
Overall, the care Gary received under Creekside Home Health care was good, mainly because of their excellent physical therapist, Trish. A lot of the issues I describe below are related to the fact that so many therapists, physicians and other healthcare providers are under-educated in how to care for individuals affected by dementia and related complications, but the challenges I present may provide insight to their care for other types of patients, which is why I share them here.
My husband was under Creekside Home Health care from Dec 7, 2012 to January 7, 2013, then picked up again, at my choice, from end of January, 2013 until March 23, 2013. I have no complaints about the physical therapist, Trish, who is, in my opinion, the best therapist/caregiver they have on staff. She was and is wonderful with my husband, continues to follow us and check in, understands the nature of dementia, and the critical need for him to have repetitious, consistent care, and continues to be very supportive of my family. She makes constructive recommendations and is direct, but never rude in her interactions.
When my husband fell at home in January and injured his back, my daughter was alone with him and I was unable to get home from out of town. Trish arrived for her normal appointment, took charge of the situation, contacted my husband's doctor, ordered an x-ray, and supported my daughter until I was able to make it back home. She made good recommendations to an acute rehab facility that was able to get him rehabilitated to a memory care facility because he could no longer negotiate stairs.
In stark contrast to her, though, the initial occupational therapist in December gave up on my husband after only 2 weeks of care because of a couple cognitively challenging days, then 2 separate speech therapists refused to acknowledge Gary's need for swallowing and speech therapy, though we had witnessed swallowing and speech issues on several occasions and so had Trish. (Gary's need for and treatment for speech therapy was subsequently acknowledged and diagnosed by a skilled nursing speech therapist within a week of his second fall.) Once these individuals gave up on him, Trish tried to incorporate assistance with speech and occupational issues into her physical therapy to help support us in our efforts to keep him at home as long as possible.
When we came back to Creekside for assistance after his January fall, the second occupational therapist was much better than the first. She was compassionate and was still working with him at the time of his next fall on March 23, 2013. At that time, I was also working actively with Creekside's Therapy Director to resolve the speech therapy gap they had. We never had the opportunity to see that to the end because my husband is now on Hospice. I would go back and use them again, though, because their physical therapist is so good and familiar with my husband's case, and the fact that the Therapy Director is willing to listen and work to find alternate solutions when something isn't working the way it should.
Overall a good company, in spite of the challenges with understanding dementia. They are still recommended by my husband's physician, the memory care facility, and the hospice he is currently with.

    Merrill Gardens
Merrill Gardens is an assisted living facility for much older adults in their 70s and 80s. It is a wonderful facility. The care is great. The food is terrific. The facility is beautiful. It is expensive, but a very nice facility for older adults.

They were overall good.  They were good at setting an appointment and if they were going to be late they would call and let me know.  They were not usually that late.  I would recommend them to others.  I would use them again in the future.

    VISITING ANGELS
Every person they sent sat on the couch and did their homework until my husband needed something or they were so over weight they were unable to help. We had one night where no one showed up at all. I had three different care givers from here and they were all unsatisfactory.
