ATahoe Clear Pool and SpaAfter a tree fell on our roof and damaged the eve, most roofing companies wouldn’t even look at it. I found Kyle by chance and I’m so glad we did! BDavidson Roofing CompanyFrom the estimation to the installation communication with the company was prompt and often. The roofers arrived early in the morning and stayed for well over 8 hours to get the job completed. They cleaned up well after each day. My only compliant was that the roofing crew did not speak English well so it was hard to communicate with them regarding access to our backyard. When they left I received no communication on how the job went, just an invoice from the company. The price was well within the estimation which was a pleasant surprise. I did find one possible issue, and am awaiting an answer. Will update my review once this is settled, and once we get the rain storm scheduled for later in the week-will see if we have any leaks or issues. Update As Of 04/30/2020: This is an update to my 4/28/2020 review. Thought there was an issue with my roof and there wasn't, received prompt response this morning. AALIO CONSTRUCTIONClay Hutnyak, owner of Alio Construction, did a fantastic job on the window and door project he recently completed at my home in Elko, Nevada. The project included replacing a fire door and sliding patio door, adding a new door in the garage and enlarging a window in the living room. It also involved electrical work, replacing exterior siding, drywall, taping and texturing and trim work. As a perfectionist, Clay did a superb job on every aspect of the project, meticulously attending to every detail. In addition, I thought his pricing was very fair. I could not be happier with how everything turned out and will definitely use Alio Construction again. Clay is a true craftsman, which accounts for why he is in such great demand, but it is well worth the wait to get such a high quality job.- John R.

AAce RoofingOverall it was a pleasure doing business with Ace Roofing and I recommend the company to anyone seeking a professional roofing job. The Energy Star Silver Birch shingles selected look great and are they are reducing the heat build-up on hot days inside the house. Steve the owner/general manager worked with us on a scheduling situation and his crew of Nathan and Robert worked well together and did a highly skilled job including a spotless clean-up. AAce RoofingThe company provided great service! Showing up on time for the initial bid, and placed the bid within the time stated. He was very clear and concise both on cost and product. We did have several questions regarding the different products that were available for use on the roof. Ace Roofing was sincere, competent and offered knowledge that helped us make several good decisions. After the bid was accepted, we set a start date. The installation crew arrived on the date promptly, and the arrival time each day was concise. The crew also cleaned the work area at the end of each day, and did a super job of leaving the area clean upon completion. Over all, a very easy and pleasant construction experience.- Martin H.

AALIO CONSTRUCTIONUnbelievable service! I've never before recommended anyone as wholeheartedly as I do Clay Hutnyak, who did the work with help from his father and brother, and his father got nothing for it but the exercise, while his brother owns another business and teaches so only helps as needed. The results are perfect, far beyond expectations, and his final charge was under the quoted amount despite the job requiring a great deal of extra time because of damage he couldn't detect when estimating. He even came back after I gave him the final check and did a couple of hours of final cleanup, gutter and deck cleaning, etc. Totally personable (all three of them) with old-fashioned work ethics. They don't advertise and go just by word of mouth because they don't want to get too much work and see the quality get compromised. I cannot rave enough about Clay and his family. My wife and I are ecstatic with the results and the incredible hours they put into this job.- Jim F.

AAlan guided us through two back-to-back bathroom remodels, with Jon onsite to lead and execute the renovation project. We had two people working remotely from home alongside Jon who was remodeling indoors full time. I cannot express how calm it was to have him in our home (even for a major construction project during a pandemic) and how nice it was to have someone we could trust to get the job done right without constantly interrupting our workday. Jon helped us reconfigure three separate rooms into two full baths, including installing intricately patterned tile, shower pan, tub, fixed glass shower door, the plumbing reconfiguration, fixtures, windows, electrical, wall framing, drywall, etc.). Alan continued to check in to make sure we were happy along the way. The quality of the work is phenomenal but the people are even better. Jon calmly answered every question we asked, at any time, and was able to coach us through choices so we could make the best decision for our home. We even had a snafu with the windows we ordered (note: let Top Notch order your windows for you, not worth trying to do it yourself) and Jon not only jumped in to make sure we ultimately got what we needed, but he also went above and beyond to talk with the window supplier to stand up for us. Jon was never a minute late, and many times he showed up early. My husband and I couldn't be happier that Jon took our outdated, inefficient space and turned it into something practical and beautiful.

FThey're thieves.! They broke poultry, lied about it, when I came home after 1 hour, my tool box was OPENED? Emptied? They had a ladder of mine out?? What kind of crummy lousy company does that? They're messy, rude, and one guy had my donations on his **** truck!!!!??? No way. I dont want to see these thieves again

Fthey showed promptly and the roof repair was fine. When it came to the painting we are not pleased at all. first of all i wanted a satin sheen for the ceiling and they bought ceiling paint which is flat for my kitchen, they had started to paint the ceiling so I told them to finish with what they had. when they said they were finished we paid them. a few days later we called them back for touch up, because several areas were completely missed. when he came back to finish he went to home depot and purchased the wrong sheen of paint, so there was a noticeable difference. I had offered to go and get the paint he needed ,said he had to go any ways so he would get it. to Date the touch up is not complete and they did the job in June. we have called to have the job completed and the are not returning our calls anymore. we were told to call any time for touch up.

FThey told me it was a covered repair and to get the work done and submit invoice and they would reimburse us. We got it done and submitted the invoice. After 3 months of constant follow up they covered part of the parts charge and none of the labor. Then, following up again, they responded with, WE ARE CLOSING THE BUSINESS.
