AGopher ConstructionStaff was VERY pleasant to work with. Cost per sqft was slightly higher than another bid but delivery fee was a lot less so they worked out to be a little less than the competitor. They answered my questions because I was ignorant about "dirt" they explained each product that I inquired on and even answered questions I had about their material vs. another company that mixed their double mix with humus vs. manure. etc. They never were disrespectful when discussing other companies were honest about the differences. They delivered the load right on time. Smooth - no problems. Someone mentioned that they have seen better looking double mix but it was still more than fine for our area (ie there should have been more manure and less dirt).They only charged me the delivery fee for 6 yrds even though I ordered 7 and they delivered probably closer to 8 1/2 yrds. I think this business is fair and a good local company to work with. I would use them again regardless of the mix contents - I still feel that I got a good value.- Maria C.

AMoss & Sons LandscapingWe recently purchased a home in Fernley and the front yard needed to be removed and replaced. Moss and Sons Landscaping was landscaping a yard in my neighborhood and the yard turned out beautiful. Although I saw the quality of work first hand I did receive multiple quotes because we are on a fixed income and we did not have a lot of money to spend. We ended up hiring Moss and Sons Landscaping and we are so pleased with our yard. We will be calling them back out to do the back yard next year.- C S.

AKokopelli Landscaping IncKokopelli Landscaping was hired to put in a new backyard of my newly constructed home in 2008. They met with me for design planning and offered many suggestions which were very helpful. They were very interested in designing the yard I wanted and one that would be easy to maintain. The supervisor even seemed excited about the task. I had difficulty with one of the plants they planted and when I called them they were there almost immediately to replace it. Once when the backyard sprinkler malfunctioned (although it was not their responsibility) they came out and repaired it at no cost to me in order to protect the landscaping.- Linda G.

The estimate he gave me for the job was reasonable, and the work by him and his crew started and completed on time, with care and precision. AMoss & Sons LandscapingCleared backyard of all debris, small rock, etc,, Prepared yard for low maintenance landscaping - drip lines, plants, one tree, smaller rock places in various spots as well as larger rock around existing cottonwood and finally "dg" compacted. AWe have 2 small rooms that are a challenge for us to decorate. My husband is disabled & we require space for his motorized wheelchair, which further limits what we can do. Bryan, the owner, & Dorothy, our designer, listened to our requests & designed 2 beautiful rooms that maximize the limited space. Once we approved the design & furniture, they immediately provided a list of carpenters so we could get started on some built-in cabinetry. We were also provided with a list of all the furnishings & websites so we can purchase what we can afford. We had never used a design team before & I didn't know what to expect, but I'm so happy we did! Now we have a direction & vision of what we can do to truly utilize those rooms. We also have control over the budget & can do what we can afford as time goes on. Bryan & Dorothy were absolutely wonderful to work with & I would definitely use them again!!
