AHandyman Services By JeffI contacted Jeff to construct a door frame and hang the entry door and closet doors to an open bedroom. Jeff was punctual and performed the work that was contracted. Jeff needed to frame the bedroom entry for a door that was not installed at the time of construction (used as an open office). He then finished it off for the painters. In addition, Jeff installed and hung closet doors in the same room. Jeff's work was very good; so good the painters even commented that the work was of high quality. The reason I gave a "B" in professionalism is Jeff left the garage full of sawdust when he was finsihed. When asked why, Jeff stated he forgot his broom. Other than that, Jeff's work was very good and I would recommend him to others to utilize his talents.- Mike S.

ADavis ConstructionAngelo and his crew were great to work with on our remodel. They were easy to work with and cleaned up at the end of every day even though we did not move into the home until after most of the work was done. AJones Paint & GlassContacted two different vendors to perform the requested work. The Glass Doctor, also in St. George said that the complete door would have to be replaced at a cost of over $1,200. They said the parts for repair were no longer available. Jone's Paint and Glass was shocked that I was told parts were no longer available. Jone's ordered repair parts. It took about two weeks to get the parts. When the repair was made the door and screen work better than ever, at only a cost of $250. Thanks to Jone's and I will recommend them to everyone.- S M V.

ABrite Glass IncMike was prompt, on time and found that the doors were not in alignment. He fixed it right then and there at no charge even though they had installed the doors in 2006. If I was still not happy with the sliding door to our deck we could purchase a different brand of door and they would install it at NO CHARGE! I will definitely use Brite Glass Again. And we are in a rural and at least an hour from their place of business.- HEIDI B.

DExclusive Homes & ProductsOriginally the job was quoted at $1,800, but later it was changed to $2,000 because one of the doors was not standard sized. I accepted the new quote. In the beginning everything was done in a professional manner. Mr. Lee and his helper seemed to know their business. At the end of the day the doors were in but none of the finishing work was complete. Mr. Lee asked to be paid in full and said he would return and finish shortly when he was scheduled to do another job in the same area. Because he seemed to be professional to that point I paid him in full and in cash. Big mistake. He never came back. I spoke with him and with his partner several times by phone. He always said he'd be coming to finish the job soon. I'm writing this after waiting for over a year. He's never finished the job. He originally said my house would be easier to heat with the new doors and also wanted to install some windows. But now for the second winter the wind blows through the unfinished doors. The front door is hard to lock because the dead bolt no longer lines up with the hole. The thresholds on two doors are not the right kind and have left the edge of the linoleum exposed. The frame on one door has nails sticking out of it. In general, it seemed that the work was being done by some one who knew what he was doing. The problem was that he just didn't bother to finish the job. He advertised himself as "bonded and insured". If I hadn't paid him in advance there might have been no problem.- donald c.

AAlan guided us through two back-to-back bathroom remodels, with Jon onsite to lead and execute the renovation project. We had two people working remotely from home alongside Jon who was remodeling indoors full time. I cannot express how calm it was to have him in our home (even for a major construction project during a pandemic) and how nice it was to have someone we could trust to get the job done right without constantly interrupting our workday. Jon helped us reconfigure three separate rooms into two full baths, including installing intricately patterned tile, shower pan, tub, fixed glass shower door, the plumbing reconfiguration, fixtures, windows, electrical, wall framing, drywall, etc.). Alan continued to check in to make sure we were happy along the way. The quality of the work is phenomenal but the people are even better. Jon calmly answered every question we asked, at any time, and was able to coach us through choices so we could make the best decision for our home. We even had a snafu with the windows we ordered (note: let Top Notch order your windows for you, not worth trying to do it yourself) and Jon not only jumped in to make sure we ultimately got what we needed, but he also went above and beyond to talk with the window supplier to stand up for us. Jon was never a minute late, and many times he showed up early. My husband and I couldn't be happier that Jon took our outdated, inefficient space and turned it into something practical and beautiful.

DThe Smart Home features they installed, such as thermostat and door locks, etc. do not always work. For example, the Honeywell thermostat can no longer be operated from our phones and is difficult to install. Remote door locks are also unpredictable.

They charged my wife’s card without asking her. $4900 were paid for new patio doors windows, it’s been 7 months. We are still waiting.
