    Home Pros Southern NV
I just purchased a really old home, from 1934. There was a lot of challenges thrown their way but, they did a great job and I love how everything came out. Matt gave great advice, while picking out tile, new tub and things for the bathroom. Everything came out looking great. He found a good deal on a really nice window and I believe the price for everything was fair.

American Leak Detection - Las Vegas
Was sent a response asking for my number. Was never called. I called the company, and informed them that I had found the leak, but needed repair to the return line on the pool. Was given the cell phone number of a tech, and was told they would get back to me with a quote, if I would text pictures to that number. Never heard back. Called ALD back, was given another tech's number- same exact thing. Never heard back from them. I talked to other companies, and those who couldn't do the repair, at least were honest and let me know to go to a different company. I was able to get the repair done, but if I have another one- I will not be calling ALD, or recommending them.

    Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup
Called Roto-Rooter and they were able to send someone out immediately. From the time of the call to the time of arrival was less than 45 minutes. Upon the arrival of Ed the service technician he was very friendly, he got to work right away and completed the job in approx 30 minutes. This is now my second time using Roto-Rooter and both times have been a great experience!

    Home Masters
All in all it went great. Shane was easy to work with and the primary craftsman, ED Olson, was nothing less than fantastic.
We had a couple of holdups due to product deilvery dates but none the less the work was completed within the schedule.
Very pleased with the quality of the work and the professional manner in which it was carried out.
    THANK YOU ED and Shane.

    ProServ
Worker came out, was friendly and professional. We described the problem we were having and he looked at the pipes.  He immediately noticed what the underlying problem was (improper configuration of the pipes) and explained it to us.  He gave us an estimate on how much it would cost, we agreed and he began repair.  Took him less than an hour and he was not bothered when our cat came over to observe him working.  He fully tested the pipes before he left and took all the trash with him.  We are very happy with the service provided.

    Bargain Plumbing & Rooter LLC
I have called Bargain Plumbing & Rooter on three occasions. Twice Luis came out and the other time it was a different gentleman (I think his name was Arturo but I'm not sure). Both were wonderful; punctual, polite, honest, and very knowledgable. On one of the occasions it was a Saturday and I discovered water flowing out of the water heater valve. I was stressing because I had an appointment that afternoon but needed that repair. They came within the hour, knew exactly what was wrong, and quickly fixed it. The gentleman, Woody, that runs the company is extremely responsive. I intend to use them for all my future plumbing needs.

Water Consultants of Nevada (Hague Quality Water)
I requested an appointment through Angie's List for afternoons on one three different dates. The email response I received indicated a tech would be here at 9:00AM on 11/19/14. I responded that if that was all they had we would accommodate it, but also indicated that afternoons were a preference. No one contacted me until this morning (11/19/14) when the tech showed up at my mailing address rather than my home. To make matters worse, when he finely good to my home and looked at our system he indicated that he could not service it since the company didn't carry the correct filters. The "fine print" in my "Big Deal" coupon indicates that system must use traditional filters. I wonder how many consumers know what that means, I sure don't. Someone should have contacted me about the make of the RO system and my home address. I must also note that the tech was knowledgeable and polite, but could not perform service paid for.

    Jet Development

There was no coordination between the company and the ongoing work. I felt as though I was the Superintendent during this whole project. Upon my initial displeasure with the work being done,  I spoke to the salesman (Jim) and he had been the only glimmer of hope that this would have a positive outcome. After our initial contact, I was told to deal with Alfredo (then later Jimmy). Alfredo's review of the sloppy initial work done was right on the money. He stated that they would tear out all the work that had been done and START OVER. At this point the entire project  had been a TRAIN WRECK with poor workmanship and no company coordination to resolve my concerns of the workmanship being performed, and when I had questions about when the city would inspect their work, a worker here on site was in disbelief that I even asked the question. He was "gravely" concerned about this inspection, but was honest enough to point out several things that he himself performed that would NOT pass inspection. After my initial disbelief at his statement, we (I) called it a day. The next morning I headed straight to the Boulder City NV offices to check for the permit number(s) and schedule inspections on the work done thus far before we go any further. Surprise- Surprise! There were NO permits issued and no inspections due. At this point I did the best thing I could. I insisted the company get incremental inspections done as the work progressed.

There have been days when work started at 0630 and has not completed until nearly 2100 (9pm) with me being present each and every minute of every day, so I started to keep detailed files on all the vehicles showing up and departing during the period of time they were engaged in this effort. I also have a multitude of conversations that I recorded in a text format (as well as over 50 pictures) to keep track of all the miscues/mistakes and sloppy work done here as well as the personnel that have worked (or better stated, attempted to work) in my home. There were countless times that communication breakdowns caused re-work as well as safety issues for the workers, the dwelling itself,  as well my own safety. On another note (that is meant to be positive) most of the employees have been very hard workers but their tooling, preparation (several times I had to loan them hand tools, power tools and ladders)  and use of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) is EXTREMELY poor which put many of the workers at risk of injury or death. Then there was the HUGE communication problem with a many of the workers not being able to speak (even acceptable) English and this has been another of the many obstacles I faced while working with this company and their workers.

Which brings me to a very serious point of contention. I issued them a check on July 8, 2014 to fund 50% of the work to be done. The work was not completed until over NINETY days later. YES THAT IS NINER-ZERO PLUS DAYS!

I will not and would not ever suggest that anyone utilize this company to do any type of work for them no matter how small the project may be. I have never been so resolute as to bring light to these types of companies. Don't just read on-line reviews of companies! You work hard for your money, and should ensure the personnel you hire work at the same level of professionalism as you would. In my thirty plus years serving this fine country we live in, living in several states, I have never seen this type of poor workmanship, leadership or lackadaisical attitude that this company and its leadership employs day in and day out.

    ProServ
We already snaked drain.  The ProServ technician snaked it with a stronger tool and bared no results.  We still had major clogging.  He said he could try to locate the clog with a camera for $189.  It turned out that the sensor for clog doesn't work.  He went and sat in his truck while my wife and I located the the trap.  The tech actually said "Wow, you guys are really hard workers" adding insult to injury.  Then he put his business sticker on water heater and started telling diagnoses to my tenant without telling me.  This house is in emergency situation, they can't flush toilet in house with six people.  He said he'd have his boss come out and finish up the next day but they never came.  I am getting a replacement deal from Angie's List. The other plumber continued to diagnose issues with tenant without my consent and now I have to fix issues for my tenant that does not need to be done. He was dishonest and fraudulent and they need to be removed from the list.
