  • He's very personable, he knows his patients, very well respected here in the community and he's very in touch with the staff and the client. He does a great job, very accommodating and work with his patients. I would use him again in the future.

  • Very badly. After a great deal of argument and a call from oncologist, Ronel finally agreed to removed expanders after nearly 3 months because left expander was clearly not expanding. This was apparent from third week. Was left with open wound for over a year, had to wear wound vac three times during that period, had 3 MRSA infections, last one requiring a pict line (and more radiation when heart tachycardia developed), a week in hospital and additional two weeks at home giving myself IV antibiotic for 2 hours twice a day. Had to go to Baltimore to have three surgeries to correct Ronel's mistakes because no one in Albuquerque knew enough about lymphedema to understand how it would impact corrective surgery. Had to have three months of intensive treatment in Baltimore before corrective surgery for exacerbation of what had been mild lymphedema before Ronel turned it into serious lymphedema with his surgery. No full-time so-called lymphedema therapist in Albuquerque competent to handle severe problems. Incurred thousands of dollars of living and travel expenses not reimbursed by insurance as well as thousands of dollars of lost income. With all the scars, muscle flap and scar tissue look like a one of Dr. Frankenstein's projects. After treating me for two months, seeing me nearly every week during that period , asked me if I had tissue expanders during examination. Was not first time I felt he was not mentally "focused," to put it kindly. Attitude always very lackadasical, had receptionist (didn't realize at first that she was not even a medical assistant) doing procedures, not in his presence. Very slipshop and dangerous.,
