    Babcock Construction
The Babcock's have worked on our home over the past six years. From remodeling, to renovation, to repair work. In 2017 they installed a tremendous flagstone and brick courtyard which truly brought the house and garden together. The Babcock family are honest, professional, hardworking people, dedicated to pleasing their clients and a delight to work with. We highly recommend the Babcock's, not only for their building expertise but also for their friendship.

Outstanding job with allot of details. Mr. Williams did a good job and kept things moving along. The job was no easy task. with many different Trades working. There were many things at once going on at our house Mr. Williams vast knowledge of any type of construction came in handy and saved us time and money. The new closet 12x24 is great and something we really needed. It also gave us a way to the garage with out going outside .

I do not recommend John Crant of Coyote Creek Construction---John put down a new floor in my home of 850 sq feet---I think the most basic and important thing in laying a new floor is that the new floor is level---John did not level the floors in my home---so my dining table slants to one side and my bookcase is propped up on two wads pf puddy---the puddy supporting the bookcase has shrunk so now my bookcase is leaning to one side also---the bookcase is at least two and one half inches un-level at this time---

John deferred to Cesar who laid the floor---whatever Cesar said and did is the way it was done---John did not stand up to Cesar and failed to make sure Cesar did a good job---this review is late mainly because my bookcase is just now leaning to one side---this is just too much and I felt I needed to write this review---I am a 67 year old women and John took advantage of me---and what's worse is that I let him---

    Paragon Construction LLC
We were extremely pleased with Paragon Construction.  Byron does very nice work and takes pride in what he does. He works hard to make sure every little detail is completed accurately.  We had a modern design utilizing alternative materials, and Byron worked very well with our architect to make sure the design was carried out as it was supposed to.   We were also happy with the subcontractors he hired--we found the work they did was also excellent quality.  There were a few misunderstandings about money and a few times he was late, but in the end it wasn't an issue.  His price was excellent for the quality we received, and we always recommend him if we know of someone building a home or addition.  Byron is an honest contractor and I would recommend him to anyone!

    Genbuild Corporation
Genbuild Corp abandoned the job after I paid 2/3 the contract price.  The roof was not completed, and the work that was done was poorly done.  Additionally, the portion of the porch that was rebuilt was a disaster.

It went bad from the start.
    - Failure to disclose all fees and overhead
    - Failure to adequately budget properly  allowances for material and labor
    - Failure to manage subcontractors
    - Failure to adequately manage project on site - 10 minute weekly drive-byes
    - Failure to be responsive to requests for final fixed costs and schedule.
    - Unskilled labor to perform finish work
    - Drug addicted sub-contractor allowed on site to do flooring. Contractor acknowledged worker was a crack head.
    - Punch list left undone.
    - Tile work needs to be ripped out and re-done.
    - Warranty work for exterior finish only two months old
    - Cut utility lines four separate occasions.
A simple project that was badly bid, managed and poor quality finish work.

One day last spring I was horrified when I walked out into my backyard to discover water bubbling up where the septic tank is located.  Initially I called a different company, one that had previously pumped our septic tank on several occasions.   They pumped the tank & explained that the leach field was exhausted & we needed a new one put in.  Their estimate was very high (double what Richardson's charged) and they also insisted it would be necessary to cut down several mature trees to get their excavating equipment in place.
Thankfully we decided to get another estimate.  Richardson's Excavating was a referral from a neighbor.   Although my initial call did not get returned immediately (they were in the field & out of cellular range), all subsequent follow-up was timely.  Rich walked the property with me, determining the least invasive way to get the job done.  Thankfully we had a nice open space where the field could go, but it required trenching through a narrow area between mature trees to get to the open area.    Also he was able to engineer the leach field to be two separate "legs" which helped preserve the existing trees.
Rich explained what documents he would need from me to apply for the permit.  I emailed him all requested items, and within about 10 days we had our permit, and the work was scheduled.   Seeing the backhoe being unloaded from the flatbed, I was convinced that we'd lose some trees.  However, they expertly maneuvered the hulking machine like it was an extension of their hands, navigating between the trees & extending the backhoe arm through an even narrower channel to get close enough to the septic tank.
The work was done over about a two-day period.  When the work was done, it was difficult to tell there had ever been any heavy equipment in our yard.
Richardson's Excavating is a small company, family owned.  They might be small, but they have their own equipment and know how to operate it.
If I ever need excavating work done again, I will definitely hire Richardson's Excavating without hesitation.

    GB Construction
Gerald Boyd is a REAL professional.  It is often difficult to highly recommend a contractor, but we HIGHLY RECOMMEND Gerald Boyd's GB Construction.   Not only did he recommend things that we would not have thought about, he implemented them in a superior way.   His crew was on time, courteous, professional, and they always left the site totally clean!    He has built new homes that are beautiful, and he has remodeled homes with the same care to detail and quality.   He used high quality materials, and his engineering ability really paid off.    We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Gerald Boyd's GB CONSTRUCTION.
