    I paid $17.00 copayment for prophylaxis - adult since Perfect Teeth is contracted provider under my dental insurance policy. Perfect Teeth kept to send the bill to me to pay extra fee three times so I called my dental insurance representative who is in Benefit source/provider and Sales. I really appreciate that my dental insurance representative takes care of my billing issue as February 9, 2017. I do not recommend Perfect Teeth - Venada Plaza in Bernalillo, NM

    The dental cleaning was as good as it gets. His staff is very kind and extremely competent. Dr. Sanchez started working on the tooth and realized a crown was not necessary. Most dentists would proceed anyway since a composite filling is less revenue, not Dr. Sanchez. His approach to the patient is kind and considerate while providing the best dentistry. I highly recommend him and his dental team.

    No problems. The front desk staff questioned whether to allow me to keep my appointment when I arrived at 11:03 for an 11:00 am appointment. They apparently expected me to know to arrive 15 minutes early and considered 3 minutes late as an infraction. I was 3 minutes late because I was using an app on my cell phone to navigate to this office for the first time and had to interrupt the navigation app to answer a call from this office 5 minutes before the appointment time asking if I planned to show up for my appointment as scheduled 5 minutes later, so the front desk staff needs some retraining on customer relations.

    As usual his expertise in dentistry is superb. When other doctors had  suggested I needed my tooth pulled and  an implant, he saved me thousands by finding a simple solution. I feel incredibly confident in him.

    When I showed up for my appointment, I was not invited into the examining room. Instead, Dr. Kidby came out to the waiting room, closed the door behind her, sat on the couch next to me, and asked me to open my mouth. She immediately said I have a lot of decay (I actually don't have ANY) and she would need to take full mouth X-rays before deciding on a course of action. When I tried to tell her a little about myself and what I wanted to consult her about, she said, very rudely, "I'm the doctor, I won't have patients tell me my business, please go find a different dentist!" and walked back into her office, shutting the door behind her.
    If you are disabled, or have any special needs, do not go to this dentist.

    The guy who did the x-rays is amazing. So gentle and let me know every move he was going to make before he made it. Dr. Parker is very personable, put me quickly at ease, didn't pressure that I might need a crown. One of the reasons I chose this practice is that a crown can be completed in a single day. I have yet to schedule it but will definitely have it done there. The hygienist is also good. I chose the cleaning where your teeth feel like they are basically sandblasted. I won't do that again but it's the procedure, not the hygienist, I didn't like. And the front office ladies had my insurance info and crown estimate ready for me quickly. Being respectful of my time and keeping me informed - glad I found this office.

    On this occasion, Dr. Darmitzel found several fillings that were failing and recommended replacing them, which I had him do the following day.   The filling procedure took one hour with both the dentist and his assistant.attending.  It went very smoothly with no residual pain, inflammation, etc.  Dr. Darmitzel gave me very specific directions as to how to care for my mouth after these fillings were complete.
    Only once in 20 years have I ever had to call the office for an appointment other than my regular six-month checkup and cleaning.  On that occasion, I was given an appointment right away so that I could be examined and have an x-ray of the painful tooth.

    I got a crown, made in office. The entire procedure was completed within 2 hours on a Cerec II ceramic tooth machine. The tooth is a perfect match with other teeth and the entire thing was painless and fast.

    The dental hygienist was fantastic! Calm demeanor and steady hands with a light touch, all very appreciated by my sensitive gums. Had a basic check-up and Doc was very pleasant and clearly laid out the facts concerning a gum issue. The office staff was very professional and knowledgeable. I'll return in 6 months.

    Been a customer for many years. I would not put him in the affordable category at all, although he describes his practice that way. Watch out, they continually use "hard sell" tactics, including scare-tactics to up-sell their patients on additional services. They do not take any insurance. They used to call me every six months to remind me its time for a cleaning, but they have quit calling, last time I got a courtesy call was over 4 years ago.
    Most egregious situation I experienced with Dr. Roybal happened a few years back when he convinced me I needed expensive (over $20K) cosmetic services to replace my 4 front teeth. I figured he knew best so I agreed. I showed up, they really numbed me up because it was a lot of serious grinding. While I was too far into the procedure, the receptionist came back to my chair with a credit card machine and demanded I pay then, from the chair, or they could not finish the procedure! I was stunned. I have never forgotten that. Never will.
    I say I will go back because most of the procedures are well done, professional and painless, and the staff is very friendly. Now that I am more savvy about their business tactics, I know when to say no.
